Michael GrantMust be transparent with customers by explaining potential fees, we were never told that the panning that we paid for needed to be returned, folded, and for that we were charged at $25 cleaning fee contacted the location several times, and every time I was promised to be called back, but I never received a phone call back, so I finally called requested to speak to the manager Name Susan, the employee told me that she already made up her mind that she wasn’t going to refund that $25 cleaning fee that were charged knowing that we were never told about it, the same way we were told about other potential fees that could be charged, such as gas and mileage fees, that we were told by the Mail employee that rang us up originally which he himself became super rude when he finally answered our phone calls and refused to let me finish a sentence

Jimmie SandersWe utilized the self pickup via mobile phone. The wrong lock code was emailed to me and thus we could not retrieve the key. We couldn't reach anyone to resolve it and had to wait for the store to open. This caused a very stressful delay to our schedule which ripple affected many people.

Lisa BrownReserving, picking up, and dropping off the U-Haul was quick and easy however, I was not impressed by Susan. She is the opposite of what you might expect from customer service and really ruined what was formerly a pleasant experience. It's worth it to visit a different location just to avoid Susan.

James BroadwellI reserved my track to pickup at 6:30AM. I though it would be easy by using app, but it was not. First, I could not find assigned track. I called customer service and eventually figured out that the track was inside of locked gate. Nobody knew the code to open the gate, so I needed to climb up the gate to access to the track. The key box was outside of gate, so I needed to climb the gate back and forth again for getting a key. After I could drive the track, I was stacked at the gate because the gate required code for vehicles passing out. I arrived at 6:15 AM and could leave finally at 7:30 after these troubles. Clear instructions must be provided in advance, or at least during pickup-process on app for customers.

Wilfredo IbarraFirst they need to get organized. They couldn't even trace the key to the first truck I booked. Secondly, I went in circles trying to locate the place to drop the key after hours. It's not clearly marked and the slot is hidden in on the side wall yet they just assume you know without telling you.
collins ochinaI dropped off the vehicle when the location was open. The customer service representative was on the phone and said they would check me in once they were off the phone. The vehicle was in good condition with more fuel than when I checked-out the vehicle. When I received the receipt via email, I was incorrectly charged for two (2) extra days due to a late drop-off vice one (1) extra day for a late drop-off. I would like to be refunded for the additional day that I was charged. I can be reached at 985-377-5595.

I made my reservation the day before, but when I attempted check-in the morning of pick-up, I had to go through numerous hoops, call customer service, and re-enter information multiple times. One example was the verification of TWO different people to authorize the rental, which was not on the original online check-in. All this trouble cut into my rental time by an entire hour, we did not hit the road until 8 a.m. vs. 7 a.m., got stuck in traffic, were late to our pickup destination, and our move was rushed. The location itself was good in that the van, dolly and keypad were all available and ready for us; it's just that the online check-in process was a terrible experience altogether.

Getting quotes and making reservations was straightforward and easy, staff at the pickup location were friendly and very helpful in explaining the process, the reserved truck was available as reserved and in good condition, and return was as easy as making sure the vehicle was in same shape as when I picked it up and putting the key in the afterhours slot. On a moving day where almost everything that could go wrong did go wrong, thank you Community Self Storage/ Uhaul for being the one thing that went perfectly.
