Kathleen FThe man was very unprofessional, smelled like marijuana inside and he appeared to be under the influence of something. He then got mad at me because the lady from u haul gave me 100 free miles because I changed location to make it work better for them. He said "this isn't how u haul works I make my money off the miles and now I won't make anything on this." Very unprofessional and I couldn't believe how they treat their customers. I'm not sure if he was supposed to clean the u haul truck but it was not clean when I picked it up, I throughly cleaned it before dropping it off.
Max FYour return system and maybe paperwork needs improvement. You didn't give me credit for the correct return time of approx. 9:30 am on Saturday the 30th. Doesn't matter I guess but if any damage was done to the trailer after I dropped it off I wouldn't want to be blamed for it.

Chris MThe manager was very pleasant but your IT program is the worst. No simple backup if the main computer is down. The whole experience was very user unfriendly. I would have given less stars but the manager was very helpful.

Rynee DBrian is an exceptionally helpful guy and it's clear that he cares about his customers. For example, after he got the trailer I rented all hooked up and safety checked, he noticed I was still in the parking lot a few minutes later. He came over to make sure I was alright and to lend any assistance if needed. I was fine (just getting my navigation set up), but his concern left a good impression on me. I will most certainly recommend him to others in the future.

Brittanie BAfter changing my pick up location to crossroads, Uhaul failed to inform the manager there of This change. I had selected Pepp Boys location to assure 8:30 pick time. Crossroads location does not open until 10:00am. Sign says open-but they weren't, no posted hours of operation! Internet link posted didn't work! Woke the manager up to get the truck. It was a 15 ft, when I reserved a 10ft. I was charged the 10ft rate -thank you but my fuel costs were much higher with your bigger 15ft truck! We refueled to the gauge level indicated. Then Uhaul adds a $14 refueling charge upon truck return! That's bad business practice! Unreasonable! Please credit that fuel charge. Order #2353744. Safe driving on Ohio & PA turnpike prevents email transactions in route! Phone customer service reps are overall friendly & helpful. However, in person drop off & pick sights never function as smoothly! Disappointing! Want to keep a customer? Refund the fuel charge!
Lesa BThe first truck I was supposed to pick up became unavailable an hour before I was originally going to get it. I then had to drive across town to a different location only to pick up a truck with its check engine light on. At this point, I had to turn around (after just leaving the nearest intersection) and return the truck for a larger size when we originally were looking for a 17 but ended up with a 26 at the end of it all . The uhaul employee originally stated I had a 59¢/mile fee and said he wouldn't charge the standard 69¢/mile fee but yet it did, so charged more than initially aware. The only benefit to renting the truck ourselves was saving money but I don't think it was worth the hassle.

Mary HI rented a trailer for a one way rental from Gaylord Mi to Marquette Mi. Upon attempting the drop off, the address provided was not where the dealer is located. It was an after hours drop. Luckily the dealer answered his phone and i was able to locate the drop off location. If he had not answered i would have not known where to drop trailer. Please make sure drop off locations are accurate

Daniel FThe vehicle was well maintained except for the a/c which did not work. Starting point 60 degrees, heat worked great, ending point 100 + degrees and 17 hours in a sweltering vehicle was miserable. Check to make sure heat and a/c works before you leave. Fan belt also squealing intermittently. Besides that, vehicle drove great.
Kelly NHave the rental person mention how to check the vehicle back in afterwards. We spend over 30 minutes before we realized there was wifi there that we could use to check the vehicle back in.
Eric HThe 15' uhaul truck had a few issues that I feel should've been addressed before our pickup day. The windshield was absolutely horrible and full of bugs! Couldn't hardly see out of it and had to make an extra stop and ask the gas station attendant for a long handle windshield scrubber to get it even partially clean! The dashboard lights were completely out and couldn't see anything while driving for 5 hours in the dark! This is a definite safety issue! I had to adjust the cabin lights to the 'on' position just to see how fast I was going and the gas gauge. Also the bright light function wasn't operational for the headlights. This also is a huge concern when driving at nighttime!! I had to hold the bright light gauge in for the length of time I was driving in the dark (5 hours mind you)!

Karl BSince I have never rented a trailer, I was unaware that I needed a converter to hook up the electrical. If I had known, I would have purchased this in advance. I had to go get one in the middle of picking up the trailer. This information should be shared up front, in large font.
Kristyn BTwo tires had only 10lbs of air, I filled them but they kept leaking. All lug nuts on all tires were loose. I felt sabotaged. Upon return in Wausau, wi, I notified staff of serious danger concern and they said they would document to warn the next renter of problematic circumstances. Warn them? Lives are jeopardized by carelessness. Fix the problem, don't warn them.

MARY DThe entire pick-up process was horrible. The location I had to pick the truck up at was deserted so I was forced to do an online pickup. I had no cell service and the handwritten WIFI network name and password taped to the door did not work. I don't know who's phone number was also written on the door but they were not helpful one bit and very rude over the phone. There was a significant amount of cosmetic damage to the exterior of the truck that was not marked as well. Nothing detrimental to the truck other than aesthetics. Using the U-Haul app was also painful and the camera feature only worked part of the time. Once I was finally able to check-in using the neighboring businesses' WIFI, the truck was left with less than 1/8 of a tank of gas. I found out after getting on the road the windshield wiper blades were completely broken and I had to buy new ones in order to see in the rain. The app also did not work to return the truck, I had to use the web browser on my phone to take photos and upload them. Overall a very frustrating process and would not recommend that location to anyone.

barb mWith no markers it was hard to figure out where to park, but its winter and snow is everywhere. Location was super easy to find.
Scott HWrong key was left in lock box, had to wait an hour to get correct key. Representative added furniture pads and regular dolly at "no charhe" to make up for the issues then put in charges for equipment, which we never requested. Truck was filthy, full of dirt. Experience was not good, over all, caused us major moving delays.
