I was charged $165 more for wrong drop off which was not my fault, U Haul website did not alert me that the location was wrong while i was following the drop off steps
abdul rMaybe not location.. sorry, think the electric towers added to our location being found at pick up & drop off? Idk. Added about 40 min extra on each time. Needed to contact customer each time & hold time. Was stressful w deadlines to " easy pick up ".

DUANE FI was under the impression the fuel tank would be full. UHaul even charges for returned equipment that does not have a full tank of fuel. My rental was under 1/2 full, but the check-in gradations don't allow me lower than 1/2 unless I go to the next gradation (3/8?)--the fuel needle was between the two, so I stuck with what the agent put on the paperwork. Then I had to guess as to whether I needed to add fuel for a trip from Perrysburg, OH to Brooklyn, OH without knowing the capacity of the fuel tank nor the vehicle's actual mpg for my situation. I ended up turning in the vehicle with something like 7/8 of a tank, which bothers me to this day--the money I thought I'd save by renting from UHaul was offset by the money I left in the gas tank. The vehicle itself was in very good condition.

Matthew CThe vehicle was very old, the steering was very shaky, hard to control, and the ride was very bumpy. The vehicle seemed to need servicing. The headlights were extremely dim, including the high beams, so it was difficult to see at night. The vehicle needs to be retired or repaired to be in good working condition.

Charles MIt's a little hard to do the online truck pick up because of the service but other than no complaints. I really appreciate the guy at this location for being understanding and calm after my husband was going off on him when he was correct. That kind of customer service is hard to find. He's great!!!

Todd VI had recommended a location closer to home and had to travel approximately 25 miles out of the way round trip. As a result I paid roughly $25 in just mileage to get the truck

RANDALL LThe online process for after hours pick up was EXTREMELY difficult. Please consider streamlining it if possible so as to minimize the pain at pick up as well as drop off time !! I had also rented movers through the u-Haul website, please try adding more ethical responsibility on the movers shoulders so that they treat the customer's cargo with responsibility and own up to any damages that are caused by their mistakes. My house was severely damaged by the movers, I filed a complaint but there has been no response till date. If there is any ethical responsibility that you can exert on those guys, kindly do so.
