LeAnne, at Holts Grocery (Mobile) in Ellijay Ga, was most helpful with answering all of my questions and working fast and efficient. She is excellent in public relations. The U-haul was clean, ran likeba champ, and we had an easy, successful trip. Merci.

This was the easiest pick up and drop off moving company and best experience ever. The girl that helped me was so very kind and helpful with my questions too.

This uhaul rental was the worst experience of my rental-ing life!!! First no one inspected the truck with me. No one started it up and let me hear it. Nothing was done to Check the vehicle with an employee - they sent me out there to do it by myself and I didn't know to start the vehicle up??!! When I finally got the truck later-- it sounded like a damn diesel. It was so loud, but it wasn't. It was a gas truck -- just sounded horrible. I demanded that U-Haul have it inspected before I would drive it from Florida to North Carolina and y'all did have a mechanic come and look at it and it did get me to North Carolina -- but it was loud and sounded like a clunk of junk the whole way… Further, nothing on it was electric not the locks not the windows , there was no cruise control !!!!! I had to drive from Fernandina Beach Florida to Murphy North Carolina without any cruise control!!! This is the worst trip of my life thanks all to your crappy truck!!!! #unhappyuhaulcustomer

Much better than the Napa auto parts store that was first recommended by U-Haul. I would recommend u haul to use this location more frequently Thank you for the great service and I will be back to that location again next time I am in the area

I dropped the truck off at the agreed contract date and the following Monday I got a call from the location and they said that the truck could not been checked in so I had written my name and number in a logbook noting the date that I dropped it off so I was concerned that that might happen when the girl told me she didn’t know what to do

The cab of the truck was filthy - dried mud covered the floor on the driver's side and was smeared on both doors. Dealers need to do a thorough inspection of the vehicle upon return rather than simply noting the mileage and the gas gauge.

Truck was old; interior torn seats; plastic cover under steering wheel "dangled" loose. Check engine light was on and transmission slipped on hills both up and downhill. I did in-person pickup; staff was helpful and made pickup/return very easy,. I wouldn't recommend this location simply because the equipment was not adequate. I reserved an appliance dolly; the location did not have one, so they provided a smaller dolly without straps. I had to borrow a bigger dolly from a friend.

Really crowded in terms of places to park the return, and not much maneuvering room to get the trailer in the spot they wanted. Nice enough overall though.

I rate service only average due to mis-information concerning duration of rental and associated costs. I was told by the personnel at the pickup location that the trailer rental was for a 24 hour period. I utilized the on-line reservation and one entry was how long I would need the trailer. I just stuck in 19 hours and thought no more about it. However, upon receiving my electronic rental agreement, I noted that it specified a return time which was not 24 hours after pickup, but rather 19 hours after. And, I could see no way to alter the time vial the webpage, but hoped the specified time was not "cast in stone". However, it was and I was charged an additional day rental when I returned the trailer within the 24 hour window following the time that I checked it out.

Perfect for drop off - We thought we would have a hard time finding a location close to our final stop, but it actually was right down the street from our daughter's business. GREAT convenience. Thank you!

They misunderstood how many days I needed the rental. So now they're trying to charge me over $600. Would definitely not recommend...

I was an hour and a half late getting my truck from the mini mart. Lady was late to check it in then I wound up with a 9 ft truck with no ramp. I wanted a 10 truck with a ramp. Which made it more difficult for us.

My battery died. I had to use jumper cables to start the truck. I was disappointed and frustrated by the experience. Also the women who rented the truck at check out was horribly unprofessional. She used profanity including the "F" word and I had to ask her to stop. She wasn't upset with me just how her day was going. The fact that I heard explicit profanity and the truck broke down was really disappointing. I would like to hear back about this. On a different note the lady who checked me in was very kind and helpful!

This my favorite place to go as a woman.. comfortable.. friendly..all around..I have never rented a truck that wasn't clean n took care of .. Thanks for all you do 😊

On the return to GA I live 1 mile near a u-haul facility. I put that location for the return on my reservation. Then when I get to FL the person a Reds told me that wasn't a option. I had to bring it back to Ellijay GA which is 18 miles away. I believe that I should be able to take your equipment to the closed facility. If you need to shift your equipment to another facility, you should do it. Overall your company truly sucks. This review is not about the pick up and drop off location. It's about how poorly the u-haul company is run.

Have truck at location when it's supposed to be there, and have all equipment ready for next customer. I had to run all over the place to get a truck and trailer that was supposed to be at one location.

When rented no return address given, except a tel#. Ellijay is a small town divided by a river. Uhal has two locations in town. Locations are separated by a river. I went to wrong location. It would have been nice to have directions. Drop off site is gas station with limited space and maneuverability. I'd recommend you find another site.

Clerk was not aware of how to manage check - in process. Truck cargo area was full of clay - store should ensure cleanliness

Location is disgusting. Worker told me I could wait an hour until the lady on the next shift shows up because she didn't know what to do.

We picked up the unit and the check engine light was on. We changed to another unit. After we left the a/c quit working. And then the check engine light on this unit came on. A poor experience times two. We would never recommend you to anyone.

Make your vehicles non smoking. I had to buy air freshener to mask the order inside the truck. Make an effort to have the supplies that the customer ordered. I ordered moving blankets, but was told they don't have those at this location. This place is a convenience store that is more interested in selling gasoline, beer and cigarettes than rental vehicles.

Truck dirty inside cab and bed. Blankets wet. NO dolly as reserved. Counter personnel barely coherent. I ended up having to spend gas to return to the very facility my original reservation was, to try and find a dolly.

I have rented from Holt's many times now, and it's always a quick and efficient experience! Every time I have a question or have something unexpected happen, Holt's always provides me with knowledgeable solutions and answers. Would 100 % recommend renting from this location!
