I'm boycotting UHAUL Because of there non English speaking employee at the drop off location on Chrysler Ave., Schenectady, NY he couldn't understand or speak our language THIS IS AMERICA AN ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRY. In public it should be and will be a punishable crime if you speak anything other then English while being out in public if I have any say. And I promise I will protest this matter !!!

Rude customer service and was charged $15 cleaning fee when I returned the U-Hahl 10x10 box truck later 2 hours later cleaner than I received it $19,99 ended up being $48+ FOR LITERALLY 2 HOURS !!

We have had nothing but excellent experiences with this vendor. Frank is kind, extremely professional, and very attentive to our needs. WE have had experiences with other local UHaul outlets in the past but the level of personal service has never been as good as we receive from Frank. Any questions I had were answered and I was shown to the vehicle and was given instructions on the Who, What, When, Where and Why if the process. If I need to rent from U-Haul again I would be renting from this location.

The owner is very rude, he's out of touch with the laws and regulations of today and forces multiple extras without any concerns to the customer. They will over charge you purposely and claim it to be part of the rules in place by U-Haul which is definitely not true at all. While heavily recommended by U-Haul they do not force extras onto customers they give them the option to anything extra. I used the 10" truck for less than a full hour and didn't even go a full mile with it and I was still forcibly charged for insurance, extra miles, and gass that wasn't even used. DO NOT GO HERE, ITS AWFUL.

people running place were slow and confused- gave us the wrong truck, not the one we reserved- were not very nice about correcting error,-tried to make us believe we were at fault- truck was covered with snow and ice- we couldn't get back of truck open- finally convinced the person to come out and he whacked it with a crow bar to open it....very stressful and inefficient process would not recommend this place to anyone

Everything was positive about this experience until the point when the man filling out or paperwork decided it was ok to corner my wife and I about politics. This was right after I had told him we were renting the U-Haul to clear the attic of my father's possessions after he passed away 2 weeks ago. Instead of being a decent human being and letting us rent the truck and be on our way, he decided it was ok to ask if what we thought of Ron Desantis, whether or not we would vote for Biden again, and then went on an incoherent rant about democrats being socialists. We were so uncomfortable that we chicken and kept quiet because we were honestly afraid he would not rent us the truck, which we absolutely need that day, or would make up fake charges to bill us for later. The entire interaction quickly became unpleasant, unprofessional, and just plain rude. I will look to rent from somewhere else next time.
