Floor of cab was covered in mud and seats were dirty. I was in a bind and it was the only vehicle they had, so I took it anyway. Upon returning it less than 2 hours and only 11 miles later, I was charged a cleaning fee. This was very disappointing.

Jesus NMarie is the BEST! What a wonderful employee. Do kind and professional at her work. She was training a beautiful young lady Katie who was equally wonderful. Betty KWith the code to enter, you have to be near the facility and do check in, but there isn't enough space in the entry to do it. I was in the entry with no code blocking traffic twice. I'll go to another rental location. This would be my last choice for a rental so inconvenient. If you had a code prior to check in, fine. But there is no convenient way to do it

Abby TThe software and U-Haul app is absolutely worthless. Virtual check-in and checkout on a Monday with the office closed both took one hour as photos would not upload. Check-out only occured with excellent phone in customer service as app never worked. I would NEVER rent on Monday again. Office staff Marie was great as I rented before on an earlier Thursday.

Betty KMarie the site manager is an absolute angel. She is friendly, helpful and full of a beautiful personality. I would recommend this facility just so people can meet her. The only thing is the trucks should be cleaned for the next person.

As I am a black woman that was a bit stereotypical to say. Especially not know if I were from one of the better parts of Chicago. However the rates were affordable.

She made the whole experience comfortable due to the following reasons: -she answered all of my questions -she offered the required information of things I did not ask -she has an EXCELLENT customer service attitude (and funny)!! -she called back promptly for questions -she had all of my requested items (floor dolly, applicance dolly, and blankets) waiting for me (at time of requested rental). overall, VERY Happy!! I will DEFINITELY rent from Uhaul again (because of Marie). Thank you!!

Brian JOwner/manager is a total scammer. Overcharged me$63. I literally will not trust U-haul ever again for any storage or truck rental needs because of this experience.
Eric MThe location, specifically Marie, went above and beyond. However, i will never use UHauls remote check in because it was a complete failure. Ridiculous that as I'm pulling up to pick up my vehicle after hours, that UHaul would expect me to have my passport, a lease agreement (for me a mortgage) or my employer info for UHaul to contact and verify who i am. Mind you, this was 8:00 at night and i work for a huge corp where even if it were during business hours, it's HR dept is extremely busy. If it weren't for Marie at the location, i would never have gotten my truck.
Danielle BFix the mobile service for check in. Couldn't complete by app. Had to wait on hold for about 45 minutes to check truck back in cause photo wouldn't except of mileage and fuel

Christopher YA U-Haul app did not perform at this location which was not staffed with a person. It was difficult to get the keys to the truck and I could not even get into the gate to return the truck. Luckily somebody was leaving so I was able to get through the gate but still unable to complete the check in process of returning the truck. Very stressful and to a very stressful day.

Even though I'd uploaded photos of my DL the day before, I had to go through that process ON MY PHONE once we got there. I took over 30 minutes to get through the check-in. I would NEVER use the self-checkin again.

Angela DMarie was great at getting all of our details together for my son's move and storage needs. She was very helpful and kind. The truck was old and we had some issues getting it started at times throughout our trip. Eventually it would turnover, but it took a couple tries to get it to start.
RANDY JSince this is a gated location, we didn't know how to get in until we actually initiated the pick up/return processes. The site office closed even earlier than the posted hours, so we were unable to call and ask anyone. It was incredibly stressful and frustrating not knowing how we would get back on to the lot to return the truck.

Michelle MThey somehow allow for after hours drop offs, but it's a gated complex and no way to get in after hours unless you have a storage unit with a gate code. The fact that I tried dropping off the truck after hours and couldn't and had to bring it back home was a complete waste.
Jonathan MTruck was dirty inside and NOBODY let us know there would be a $20 charge to return the truck at 6pm ONE HOUR EARLIER THAN WE BOOKED IT!
