No one was available who worked with U-Haul.
Todd BCheck in was quick and easy. The representative was nice,and got us out of there quickly.
Bridgett AAt drop off 730pm (after hours) I was a few hrs late returning due to traffic and weather. Was charged an additional day $40 and another safe move charge of $15 plus taxes. Total another $61 after spending $907 to rent truck for 3 days thinking I had 4 days plus $200 in gas. Bottom line the xtra charges for dropping off 3 hrs beyond due time of 4pm is disturbing. Since it was after hrs I put N/A for cleanliness of drop off and assistance from staff. Would be great if I could get reimbursed for the $61 as I am a retired disabled vet on a fixed income.
John JThe reason I gave one star is because the something was wrong with the gas gauge in the truck. I put $30 worth of gas which got my to my destination and then after driving about 60 miles I put another $20 in and it said I had 58 miles until empty. I drove about 20 miles and it dropped all the way down to 30 miles until empty. I then put another $20 in and the same thing happened upon me returning the vehicle. Something was clearly not right with the truck and I was disappointed to have had to have spent almost $100 in gas for a rental truck.
Bobbi WTell the truth and don't scam people. I overpaid one thousand dollars for that truck and won't ever use U-Haul again. I will tell everyone I know watch out for fat liars.
Bob LI told the lady at the drop off location there was roaches in the truck and I have pictures. But she still done nothing about it, and I still paid full price.

Rex RI don't know who's responsibility it is to keep maintained and clean but that was the dirtiest and most unkept U-Haul I have ever rented. Very disappointed.

Jeremiah JThe online check in and especially the check out has a lot of room for improvement. I followed the instructions precisely and could not complete the checkout process online. It was very frustrating. In addition, the online chat system was not helpful at all. The person answering my chat simply referred me to the location when they open for business on Monday. Not what I expected out of a 24 hour chat.

William VIt was quite dark for the after hours pick up. I'm not as upset with them as I am with your customer service when I called for help.
David LMy hitch was sitting low, so the gentleman unhitched the trailer, the the ball in and reversed it all in 5 min. It sat higher and safer. Amazing service

SID HFirst my reservation was given to someone else in Fairmont NC then I had to come to Lumberton and get a truck. Wasn't certain I was going to use a auto transport. The guy told me I could reserve it later, never said it wouldn't be able to be added to my current order if he didn't add it now. I decided I wanted a auto transport. Ended up paying over $500 for it which is ridiculous being I had a truck. Initially the auto transport was $230. This was a bad experience and I don't look foresee myself using Uhaul again.
STACEY DI have rented uhaul trucks and trailers all over the country the last 3 years. Every time the service was five stars. The guys at the Lumberton location were 5 stars also. Never had a bad experience with Uhaul.
Paul Fplace was closed for sunday used a drop box. felt very uncomfortable leaving the truck and truck key in the location.

Michael SI was a bit disappointed that not all of the equipment was there. Previously requested that both an appliance dolly and a furniture dolly be in place for our move. It was extremely hard for us to move without having these items.

Suzanne FThere is only one person there that can do the U-Haul stuff, and he was gone, so he had to help them by phone. They all need to know how to do the u-haul stuff. Their printer was not working so I could not get a hard copy of my contract.

Ron KWe broke down in Lumberton, NC and were looking for a uhaul with auto transport. Uhaul gave us a dealer in Fairmont that was a 25-minute drive from our hotel at SpringHill Suites Marriot in Lumberton, NC. So I called this towing company to see if we could get our car towed to the Fairmont uhaul since we had no working transportation. The towing company said they also had the uhaul we needed with auto transport and were only 3 miles from our hotel in Lumberton. They even gave my husband a ride from the hotel to their place so he didn't have to walk 3 miles in 90 degree weather. I really appreciate these guys and all of their help. I just wish the uhaul service would have located this place for us from the get go instead of me having to happen upon their location nearby because I needed my car towed.
