Gary GreshemFirst, I was very unhappy that my reservation was moved (night before) from a location next to my house to another one 20 minutes away in the opposite direction of where I was headed. So it added over an hour of extra drive time and wasted fuel. The pickup location was decent and people were courteous. But the crappy part was that I had to wait 20 mins for the "U-Haul guy" while the rest of them catered to their Meineke clientele. Not to mention, there were 3 other locations closer that I know for a fact all had the same truck available. Overall, a very inconvenient experience for what was expected to be SUPER convenient. This review should separate the location experience and the overall U-Haul experience. It wasn't the location's fault that my reservation was tossed way out of my way and super inconvenient.

LAJUANA WAREThe truck was not available for mobile check in. I had to wait for the pick up location to open, which pushed back my moving schedule. I also reserved moving blankets, furniture dolly, appliance dolly, and a hand truck. This location had none of these. I had to complete my move without these necessary items. Extremely upset with Uhaul Corporate for not advising me that this pick up location is not set up for having accessory equipment. Will never do business with Uhaul again!

David Wedegisvery bad experience didn't put attention but I told them that I need to rent the car hauler one way trip to Milwaukee and they say it was going to be 89 per day and it came out to be 300 because it was one way and I told them that it was one way so they did not put no attention to me very bad had to pay more money that I should have because I didn't put no attention to me bad location where I picked it up I'm ready to talk to corporate about this
Gualberto ValdezAsked for and was told I had a one way contract. When it comes time to turn truck in, we're not in the U-Haul system. I review the contract...it's a local rental. So, I'm told I can either return it to the origin location, or pay the wrong location fee which is 3X the rental fee. When you're 65 miles away, this is not acceptable

Jeffrey DyerMeineke's fault, but it took over an hour to check in do to computer problems at corporate after I already spent an hour trying to "Express" check in. But even worse, Uhaul sent me hear after I reserved a truck, trailer, hand truck, and a dozen blankets. when I got here they didn't have the hand truck or blankets. So after I checked in I had to find another Uhaul place to get these items and went through the same hour plus check in while I had workers at my house waiting to load the truck. One word "Ridiculous". Definitely will look at Ryder or someone else next time.
