Gabriel ClementThe truck had air conditioning issues. After about 15 minutes of driving, the a/c would shut off. After about 2 minutes, the a/c would kick back on. This process repeated itself my entire drive. The day I had the truck, the outdoor temperature was very warm. When I went to return the truck, I parked in the return area and waited for someone to come outside. I waited about 5-6 minutes. No one came outside as the sign indicated. I proceeded to go inside where 2 people were seated. No other customers inside the building. The person sitting at the first desk was rude and abrupt. He told me- just put the keys into the box and they will get to it the next day. He would not take the time to address my concerns about the a/c not functioning properly. I was hoping he would come outside and do a walk around the truck with me. I am not sure what the dress attire should be, but they were not dressed in business attire or u haul uniforms. At first, I thought it was a customer sitting in his chair. The person sitting there was dressed in ragged shorts with a hat that was on backwards. It was just a very awkward return experience. I was a bit concerned about the billing; however, the final billing was correct with no added charges. I would rent from U-Haul again, however, I will never return to this location.

Jacob ChildsThe truck I was given had 126K miles on it and I didn't know until I returned it that the tow function was on the entire time. I don't tow anything and know nothing about this function, but I assume that because this was enabled when I picked up the truck, the gas mileage was heavily impacted. I received 7,5 miles per gallon... and the truck only contained a washer and dryer.

Daniel GarciaThere was a misunderstanding regarding the payment. I initially reserved the equipment using one credit card. At the rental office, I informed the agent that I intended to pay with a different credit card upon returning the equipment. The agent acknowledged this, and I proceeded to take the vehicle. However, upon returning to the office, I discovered that the wrong credit card had been charged. The agent receiving the vehicle appeared surprised or incredulous, as if I had made an unreasonable request.
Juan CaezEnsure the truck to be picked up after hours couldn't be potentially blocked in by another customer returning their rental. Other than that, very organized location.

Darrell LynnAs noted @ the pickup location the ram on the trailer was in disrepair and now not working @ all. The gentleman working @ this location didn't know what to do so luckily I had a couple spare parts in my truck & was able to "rig" the ram so it could be lifted off the truck otherwise I'm not sure what we would have done. I really needed that car hauler but probably wouldn't rent it again given the same circumstance.

Johnette motleyThe running lights on the trailer didn't work. I picked it up in the morning and didn't leave until it was getting dark. I drove for 90 min with my hazard lights on. The guy that hooked up the trailer told me to turn my hazard lights on. Then he said I was good to go.

MONTE OBERLEEWe dropped off our rental on Christmas morning as advised by the pickup location. We left the truck in clean condition. I received an invoice the following day for additional charges - $25 for cleaning and $20 for dropping off during "off hours" We had no choice since it was a holiday. Had we been advised otherwise we would have dropped off on Christmas eve afternoon. I called to question the charges on 12/28 and no one returned my call. Today is 1/1/24

Douglas KennedyMidguard was fast and friendy. The U-Haul online portal was relatively easy to navigate. There were plenty of vehicles and they were in good repair.
Michael WeissFor some reason i didnt get the option to upload photos of existing damages, scratches & the fuel levels. I struggle a lot & i was charged for full tank. Tried to call the office manager but no luck. I had back & forth of messages to get the refund back. App should be more flexible & need email ID's as escalation contact.
