Horrible experience arrived at the location at 9:00am i didn't get into the truck until 10am i had a schedule move at 9:30 i was an hour late. That virtual check in is the worst ever. I was given three different wrong codes and i took the representative 8-10 minutes each time to come back to the screen. As a employee moving helper and costumer i was very disappointed.

Virtual assistant does not have app so could not help in process. Finally on return app did not work for photo so have no idea if actually registered I returned equipment. Terrible experience.
Sandel BlackwellBeing told that I would be charged $20 for a staffer to close out my rental if my Uhaul app wasn't working was insulting. I also didn't enjoy dealing with someone remotely over a video feed. Will not be going back to this location.

Richard FultsU-Haul's online check-in and check-out process was difficult with a smartphone and the remote assistant (from South Carolina) was not helpful. The signal strength for a cell phone at this location was almost non-existent. I had to move around the store to get a signal strong enough to download the app, and then the program was unable to verify my location. I checked and double-checked my phone to insure that the location feature was unlocked and working, yet the app was still unable to verify my geolocation. I had to call U-Hall for assistance, which took more time to check-out. Frank, who answered the call was very helpful, polite and professional, as was the tech assistant who helped me. But over-all, my experience with online processing was frustrating, time-consuming, and ineffective. It still took a human being to check-out properly. If I use U-Haul again (unlikely) I will not use this location, or any other franchise location that does not have a human onsite.
Bruce AmbroseIt took 20 minutes after my on line check in to get the keys to the vehicle. The virtual assistant had to keep checking how to extract them from the lock box and finally a human being had to assist. It would be helpful; if the location and code with clear instructions is given when the online check in is completed.

MARY REDMONDHave the equipment ready when it is supposed to be. I was supposed to have access at 8 AM. Keys to the truck were behind a locked door that did not open until 9 AM. Furthermore, I requested a furniture dolly as part of the rental agreement. None was provided and no person was available to assist with getting one. I was unable to close out my rental online. The message I got was system problems. When I called customer service I was told I would get a receipt before 6 PM Saturday. Finally was emailed a receipt at 11 AK Monday morning. I can not recommend this location or UHaul based on my experience. Definitely not easy to do business with.

LESLIE KINGSince the Uhaul part is partnered with a business that's not open on Sunday, it won't do much good to suggest to be available on Sunday. But that would be my only suggestion. Everything else was great.

Louis HarrisThe guy would not check in the truck until after I left. The guy marked the gas as almost empty. I stopped and put gas in to avoid the charge and he lied about the return gas level and charged me $74. Luckily I took a picture of the gas and end miles before I left the truck. I even told him that the truck was filled to the same gas level, the rented furniture covers were in the back, the miles were 1,5 miles below the allowed, and the truck was cleaned out. I called back after the additional $74 charges and he said there was nothing he could do. He gave me a number to call, which I did and the lady listened to me and once I said I had the picture to prove it, then she reversed the charge no problem. She did not require me to produce the picture, but I have it just in case you would like it. She was very helpful. She also mentioned that the check in people have a bad habit of doing this regularly to make the extra money that it provides. The fact that an employee of U-Haul tells me that it is a regular practice and that U-Haul knows about it and has not addressed the issue is very troubling. I would not do business at this location again, Midgard Self Storage, 8785 State Road 70 E, Bradenton, FL 34202.

EVAN AMATOOn the way to destination, a message appeared to get get the oil changed . Also, the van was not wiped clean in the driving/ passenger area. I had to wipe dash, seats, arm rests, etc. Not sure if the back of the van is to be vacuumed? It needed it!!!!
