Allie PoeWhen in the vehicle there was a notification to check the gas cap. After several attempts, I gave up trying to figure out the issue. The gas cap was on securely and no issue could be found.

CURTIS SCHULTZThe only issue I had at this location was connectivity with my phone. Signal strength was strong, but I had to wait forever to load something in the UHaul app. I had to refresh many times as well. On a positive note, when the the app was working, everything went smoothly. Though, this did take me about 30-40 minutes messing with the app and calling support just to get the keys to the truck I reserved. The truck did have a check engine light, but after driving it a few miles, it went away.

WILLIAM MCANALLYThe vehicle's check engine light is on. I called U-Haul roadside assistance, and they told me not to worry about the light that it was probably just a sensor or something. Vehicle warning lights are there for a reason it could've been critical I would have no way of knowing. The pick up location has a fenced in area, but they leave the vehicles outside the fence right next to the highway. I felt very concerned that leaving my vehicle in that location would be unsafe. I tried to call U-Haul customer service and was told the weight would be over two hours. This level of customer service is unacceptable.

Maudrie EllisCommit to a truck stop changing pickup locations the day off. Uhaul ruined my move, charged me a gas charge and extended day due to your issues. This is literally the 3rd time. Good thing you have no competition. Oh and your work at home employees talking to other people while on the phone with you and taking care of their screaming kids.

Sean LichtenauerBe honest with people. I was not told I would be charged mileage, only charged was a flat fee of 29,95/day. 2 gallons of gas was charged to me. The fuel tank had exactly what I left with. 2 gallon of gas will not move the needle. These people are not honest!!

matthew cressmanThe man I spoke with over the phone was friendly. He said someone would be at the gate to assist me. No one was at the gate. There was a code entrance. I called the same number for assistance and another man answered. He said to leave the trailer alongside the road in front of the fence. This was very inconvenient as there were several trucks already parked along the road and the remaining places were muddy from rain. My first attempt at parking failed as I would have stepped into thick mud. I had to pull forward into an adjoining road and back the trailer in a tight turn onto the road to turn around. I then saw no choice but to park the trailer in the mud. This place has the potential of being a favorable drop-off if customers were given gate access.
Steven MainsI was held up 35 minutes because the person that was the only one that can do that job wasn't there on time. There was a constant relay between the man that was there and somebody on the other line bouncing back information as they asked me. I was under the impression that when I did my online check-in did it sped up the process. This is some kind of backwards business where the computer doesn't even workAnd the only person that can do the job shows up if they want to. This place sucks

Kevin GregorskiBetter compensation for not having trucks available and having to go way out of the way. Glad to have found the Gardendale site. Nice people and place and accommodating. But put us hours off schedule and out of the way from our original pick up place on west valley ave. Although they were very nice at that site. Both places did all they could do to help and compensate. The corporate company itself could've been more helpful and forgiving.
EDWIN SHURBETI put gas back where it was when I picked it up. They charged me and didn't tell me. It was just above 1/2 tank I put it back just above 1/2 tank.
