I did the 24/7 truck share. I feel like the option is perfect especially if you're trying to get a truck after hours. I ran into a problem where I had my brother and nephew drop off the truck for me because I head to back to work and I told them to make sure they drop it off at the drop off place and talk to a clerk before they close (4:30pm) so I wouldn't get charge another day and I wouldn't be able to go thru with the app process of returning the U-Haul. They dropped it at 3:50pm and they told me they knocked on the window and the person that was in the building kept pointing at the key drop off box and wasn't really trying to help. So I instantly called U-Haul to inform them that it had been dropped off already and I couldn't go thru with the process on the app and they noted it. On March 2, 2024 I was charged again for the U-Haul and they lied and said it was returned 7:56am. To prevent situations like this happening again, there should be another option with the app so stuff like this won't happen.
Vernon HThe truck had a 1/4 of a tank of gas I reserved it on line. And got 8 emails from U-Haul and the had to fill it all out again when I got there to pick it up. It felt like a waste of time to go through all the work on line to just do it again in person.

Randy GThe guy who I picked up and returned my uhaul to had a disgusting attitude at both pick up and drop off of the truck. Upon arrival to drop off the truck he accused me of engaging in doing illegal drugs inside of the truck. When I informed him that I do not do drugs but I was willing to wipe down the truck and spray air freshener he rudely declined. He also told me the gas was lower than it was supposed to be. again told him I would take the truck and fix the problem because I technically didn't need to turn the truck in until tomorrow morning at 10:00 am. He rudely declined once again and quickly submitted the information to the uhaul app and told me I'll be charged for everything and will not have the opportunity to fix it even though I had 17 hours until I had to officially turn the truck in. I am outraged and extremely disappointed with the service I received today and yesterday at this uhaul location. I will never go use uhaul again after this experience because of how disappointing this experience was for me.

Cody MPlease air out the vehicle before renting.. I had a STRONG sweaty smell in the cabin. It wasn't pristine, which is ok for moving, but it could have smell a little nicer. The owner was very professional and had us in and out in no time. A pleasure doing business with him.
Casandra GI feel I was deceived into taking a unit before the location was explained to me. I signed up using a link from 195 Davidson Parkway, was told to go to the office at 8 Lowe Rd, and signed a document for "Mr Storage - Central" that didn't list the physical address of the unit. When I drove to the site, I turned at the address and didn't see the location. It turns out the unit is at the end of a different street, after the turn sign. I feel manipulated. I regret doing business with this company, but can't get another unit anywhere else until I give 30 days notice. I learned my lesson. I'll find another or vider and get out of this raw deal ASAP.

Dannette HThe only problem was that the side mirror was not adjustable. It was pointing towards the ground, and I could not use it. Made it rather dangerous to drive.

NeTeah HWe brought the truck back filled with gas to the correct level and are being charged because the gauge is now showing lower then what we brought it in at. We took the pictures as required on the app and it was accepted.

Tyrone DHe charged me for insurance and never asked if I wanted it he couldn't run my credit card because he didn't have my address in the machine correctly so I had to use my debit card which I don't like to do. So then I had to call back to see why the fee was incorrect.
marguerite wRenters beware!! Though I filled truck with gas to level reflected in my photo taken on my phone of gas gauge before leaving facility with the truck at rental. I was told on return that I didn't fill truck with required amount of gas and charged 14,95 fee. I was told I was required to fill it to bar above though picture at time of rental showed gas hard between the 2 bars which is what I refilled gas to on return. I attempted to prove my point and my information was disregarded. Poor customer service and unfair charges when gas was filled to level in my photo.

PHILIP BInterior passenger seat was covered in dog hair, and smelled like a dog. Service great, prompt, and got me out the door quickly with all the extras i had purchased on-line. Easy after hours drop off.
Harold CI estimated how much fuel I needed to replace and filled up a few gallons at a time then turned on the truck to see the fuel amount (I needed half a tank). It kept reading just under the half-mark line even though I was sure I'd added enough. After four times of putting a few more gallons into the truck, the gauge finally moved past the half-way mark, and in fact indicated there was 3/4 of a tank. I'd even driven a bit prior to this to see if that would move the fuel marker, but it did not; only when I'd overfilled the fuel tank did it move. This seemed odd and I couldn't help but think it might be something that happens frequently with U-Haul trucks as it benefits U-Haul, not the customer. I'll be looking elsewhere for a rental truck in the future.

Carl TWhen it looked like we were not going to be able to return the truck by 7pm per our agreement, we called and were told it was ok, not to worry. We turned it in at 7:03pm and they were fantastic. We were not charged and extra hour for being 3 minutes over.

Beverley HPleasant employee was great. Truck was clean and ready to go. Only issue was I ordered 24 blankets and they only had 6. This was u-hauls fault, not this location because they changed my pickup location at the last minute despite booking a month ahead Of time.
KELLEY PThe phone check in was not efficient and when it asked for the alternate contact verification, no one ever ended up calling that alternate leading us to wait around for over 30 min waiting. We ended up using the in person service which we were not allowed to do In The beginning when the problem first started.
Katherine AThe vehicle was heavily smoked in, cigarette butt inside, very dirty, and the bag in the back where they normally put moving blankets was full of trash. The ac didn't blow cold. The brake booster or something squealed inside the cab when pushed.

Monique BThe truck had not been well maintained. We had a breakdown and was stuck on the side of the road for over 3 hours after we contacted U Hall. After submitting our complaint no one has reach out to offer compensation or an apology. Not a good experience!!!
