Jasmine AI had spoken to the Manager about dropping the truck off after the 24hr agreement. He said take your time I wouldn't be charged an extra day. They overcharged me an extra day. I also filled the gas tank and they got that wrong but didn't charge me extra. I replied to the email receipt and asked them to correct the overcharge. No reply yet.
john aRental agent was not present onsite. The counter person didn't even speak English! We were forced to complete the rental by cell phone!. There was absolutely no way you could review the contract. I was driving for a blind friend who was paying for the rental. I will never rent from U Haul again if it is by phone!!! After giving the debit card information 3 times as each time the agent said the transaction didn't go through, I used one of my credit cards to complete the transaction. We were under a very tight schedule and had to leave that day. With the transaction complete as we were getting in the truck my friends sister called and said their bank had an automatic withdrawal for the rental. DOUBLE BILLING. We were able to get the bank to stop the payment and the theft. Your company is only as good as your last agent.
