It was a severe snow storm when picking up the truck. Also, truck had summer tires(not traction) on the rear. Had to give a fair evaluation with this in mind. The storm also was a major factor in the condiiton of the truck. It was dirty inside both cab and box.

Dennis BabinThe only complaint I have is that when I fill out the paperwork to run the vehicle, I do not add the insurance. I was told that they would remove that when the Truck was returned end it would be off my final bill. It was not. I was still charged for the insurance. They put in a formal dispute and I have to wait for 72 hours before I will hear a response. Matter of fact I think the last time I rented the U-Haul I had the same issue. And I don't think they change that either. The last time I rented it was January 8, 2024. I made the same formal complaint that I did not ask for the insurance. They put in a formal dispute and I never heard back. So January 8 I paid $15 more than I was supposed to and March 15, I paid $15 more than I was supposed to. Both times I did not request the insurance yet I was charged for it both times. The first time I rented the truck they actually got it right and did not include the insurance. So basically U-Haul owes me $30 for being charged twice for insurance when I did not request it. Please look into this and please credit my account with the fees that We're not authorized by me. That is the only complaint I have. They always have a truck ready for me. It's always nice and clean and they are really nice and friendly when we pick it up but they constantly add the insurance when I specifically do not ask for it.

Angela maxwellThe whole process to puck up and return the equipment is insanely difficult and time consuming. The app doesn't even work. If the app actually worked and the process wasn't so convoluted. Maybe different. The fact I also never get that 25 dollars off even if I steam cleaned the truck afterwards...when I picked it up it was FILLED with mud and dirt...I returned it cleaner than I picked it up. Put gas in it and I was still charged for gas to be put back in it. I will never rent a uhaul again and I will tell everyone how awful this experience was. Not to mention how tiny the parking lot where the trucks are. I had to pull a moving van out of this tiny little spot between 3 badly parked uhauls. It's like they park things badly so you hit something. Plus the check engine light was on so that's not even a safe truck to be renting out. Uhaul dropped the ball this time. I took multiple pictures before and after my rental and not a single photo showed up on the app. I'm so far beyond unimpressed with the service. It was a headache and inconvenience all around.

I drove 7 miles past the other Uhaul location to get to Warnerville only to be told that location was closed and I had to drive 7 miles back to the other location. So I drove 15 miles out of my way and then I was charged for that extra mileage. Total waste of my time and money.

Brian ManchesterI actually had an enjoyable experience, renting the U-Haul from the space. I did most of my stuff on line. It was an easy way to do it and the vehicle was ready for me when we got there. The only thing is that I didn't use as much mileage as I said, and they did correct the invoice but it hasn't showed up on my card the difference between what they took out and what the I actually had to pay. I would think U-Haul would've put the credit right back on the card. If it was just a dollar or two I wouldn't be concerned but it's almost $20 and I could use that. Other than that everything is great with the U-Haul.

PHILIP PIZZIThey're trying to charge me for an extra day for being a half an hour late returning the vehicle. They're charging me to fill up the tank of gas when it was only on 3/4 of a tank when I picked it up and I have pictures of this. They're charging me for an extra days worth of insurance for being a half an hour late. They are trying to charge me more than $100 over what i owe which is $46,28 for mileage. Which I AGREED to pay yet they're insisting I pay for another full day plus the insurance plus gas. I have pictures and proof of where the gas was when I picked it up and where it was when I dropped it off the mileage that I used. And I can timestamp when I picked it up, and when I dropped it off.
Nathan MaxwellI have been in contact with a manager but I am not satisfied with the service he has given me so far. I rented a van for a week. When I picked up the van I did the self service option because the location was closed. The van was the only one in the lot and I needed it. It was disgusting! I had to clean it before I could even use it. The manager has only given me a $100 credit back and I am not satisfied with that. Unhappy with this rental!

I called the location and Per the employee working at the location(joe), he entered the wrong phone number when checking them in, which resulted in everything being placed under my name.
