The employee at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The U-Haul that we rented needs engine maintenance. It sounded horrible. Other than that it was a great experience.

Started at $35 ended up paying something like $78 . Gas was not full, I did fill the truck when I returned it . Another 40 bucks . 5 This was for 6 hours and just over 20 miles . $$$$$

U-Haul authorized me to drop off the truck after hours, but failed to provide a gate code despite repeated requests. Upon arrival, I couldn't enter the premises until someone else let me in. Exiting became a challenge as well since I lacked the required code. After contacting the police for assistance, another individual eventually arrived and opened the gate. Overall, a dreadful experience at this location.

Good truck no issues except the gate code I was given didn't work. I tried *852963# as it was written eight times. Fortunately someone was exiting after several minutes so I could get it to return the truck. Overall great job.

Tom is very efficient and handled the transaction of the rental. Helped with hooking up the trailer and checked the lights and hook up connection. Very smooth and efficient pick up of the trailer. I would recommend this location to anyone needing a trailer, truck,or storage.

When i rented the trailer, I expected it to be well maintained. I found that a tire was low on air. I told the agent and she said that she would call her boss. They decided that it would be ok for me tu take the trailer or exchange it for another. She indicated that it entailed canceling the original contract, (there would be a hold on the account) and i would have to sign a new contract. I didn't feel like having my bank put a hold on my money so I decided to take the trailer and put air in the tire. I did so and by the time I arrived at my residence the tire was low again. I decided to call the Road service which came and removed the tire. What i saw was that the tire was so bad that if I would of just kept putting air in it it would at some time explode. it was worn passed the rubber. if I would have gone on my trip It may have blown up enroute and who knows what could have happened. There has been no maintenance performed on the trailer. If there had been, they would have noticed how worn the tire was. I was fortunate that I checked the equipment before leaving otherwise I would have been involved in a terrible accident. If interested I have Picture of the tire.

I am very upset about the gas service fee. I rent uhaul trucks for over 7 years and i have never paid this fee. I only used 3 gallons of the gas.

Prior to arriving send a code to go in an out the gate weather picking up the truck or dropping off. I was never sent a code and got lucky to get in because a car was leaving otherwise I would have had trouble dropping off the truck. Also leaving was very difficult without the code. That made it a terrible experience. Moving is stressful enough did not need this awful experience. Would not recommend for self drop.

This location was very close to my home and easy to find. It was clean and easy to locate. The gentleman greeted me as I pulled in and showed me where to park. I did not get his name but he was friendly, helpful, and the return process was quick and easy. Within an hour I received my finalized bill and was relieved to have finished the move and return. This location is nearby and I will certainly return here if I need U Haul again.

Didn’t plan on still moving in the dark but we were - truck had no interior lights & missing some in the back outside - very dangerous situation - filled up tank before returning but couldn’t see the gas gauge in the dark - returned the truck to find out you charged me for 3 gallons - sort of scammy - anyway your truck served the purpose well other than this issue - Tom was very professional & friendly

You need to train the ladies on customer services. questions are not answered correctly. 3 different ladies, give me different. I requested the manager, but lady finally help me, then I though that was better to go to the store directly. You have train some them that we are customer and deserve answer with respect. It is true that I asked many question, but that happens because they not gave me the right answer. This complain is to the number services that I called at nigh at the head quarter to rent the truck that i need it for one way.

The truck didn't sound right when I drove it. It kept making a weird noise. As soon as we came to pick up truck we waited about 40 mins while the guys helped a customer in front of us. Then he handed us the wrong keys to a 20ft truck instead of the 10ft we were supposed to get. The reason I noticed was when I started the truck and went to pull out. The tank was on empty so I had stopped and ran back in to ask why the tank was empty. This is when the guy proceeded to tell me, oops I handed you the wrong keys. He told me all I had to do was drop the truck off when I was done and put keys in slot of door. never told me about the check-out online so I didn't realize I needed to take a picture of the gas gauge and mileage before I had to lock the truck and put the keys through the door. I got in my car and checked my emails just to make sure. that's when I saw I had to do a check out. When we return to pick up our car after dropping off the U-Haul truck, Our back tire was flat. Now there was nothing indicating anything about the tire prior and I understand that it could just be a coincidence but with everything else on top of it just made things worse. the last thing that happened was when I drop the truck off. I had dropped it off with 7/8 of a tank gas I received a phone call in the morning saying it was not the right amount of gas. However when I came back to Uhaul to put more gas in the truck, this truck had been moved, so how do I know somebody didn't drive it somewhere real quick or maybe it was moved on a slanted hill where it was parked that the gas gauge read some thing different. slightly different mind you. The entire experience was just terrible. I have rented from U-Haul several times. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I will definitely never ever go back to Jacks Road in Davenport, Florida for a U-Haul ever again.

Let the customer know the fuel capacity so they can correctly measure how much gas to put in. 11/16 means nothing unless you know how many gallons of gas it takes to fill it up.

I picked up before the facility opened and it required a gate code. I never got a code to open the gate but thankfully someone was there to let me in.

1. Truck pulls to left and you have to counter steer the truck to stay in your lane THE ENTIRE TIME YOU ARE ON AN INTERSTATE. 2. Power steering cooler is spraying oil out onto engine bay and makes it smell like truck is on fire. 3. Windshield wiper hose came off of fluid reservoir multiple times and then the entire tank drains and you have to stop and reconnect hose and then buy washer fluid to refill. I had to do this 3x then eventually cut off an inch and a half of the stretched end of the hose (due to oil contamination on the rubber hose from steering cooler misting oil everywhere, oil swells rubber) and was able to reconnect it and made it the rest of trip 4. Fuel mileage on cruise control the entire time is nowhere near what is advertised. My average mileage for the entire 1000 mile interstate trip was 4,34mpg. Less than half of your advertisement claiming 10mpg. 5. Engine backfires and popping noises frequently while driving. 6. Transmission constantly downshifts and redlines engine and holds it there indefinitely until you put it in manual mode and select the next gear up no matter the grade you are on (uphill, downhill, level) it does this with tow mode on AND when it's off. 7. Loud clunking when steering 50 % or more steering angle in either direction at low speeds can be felt in floor and in steering wheel. 8. Brakes squeal loudly intermittently. 9. Truck needs an alignment, steering wheel is off and it pulls on highway 10. Truck has previous body damage in multiple spots which was notated at time of pickup, it is rather obvious the truck was hand picked as the worst one in the fleet in Ohio where it was picked up as a means to get rid of the "problem child" truck for the one way ticket to Florida my rental offered the location. I NEVER SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH UHAUL, I have had several instances of renting trucks from your competitors (Penske, Enterprise, Budget) and have NEVER had a bad experience, let alone this nightmare. Customer service offered no help and had nothing to offer for solutions.

24/7 except they don't give a code on the 24/7 turn in page. So I had to wait outside a gate and waste a solid hour or so while I was on hold and a representative pick up and then another solid 30 mins for her to find out the code.

Checking out the Uhaul truck via my phone was such a horrible experience. It took way to long to verify my info, while also kicking me out we numerous times with errors. It was so bad that I had to go inside of the front office to complete the transaction. The attendant at the office was very professional and helpful, but not being able to complete my transaction over the phone was very disappointing. To the point that it could be a safety issue. Most of those questions/ info could have been answered prior to me picking up the truck. Even with a new Verizon iPhone I was still having issues, so I could only imagine how difficult the process is for everyone else. And, as a result of checking out the truck inside, I was also unable to verify that the truck fuel was actually 3/4 of a tank as stated by the office attendant, because I did not get the truck until the transaction was completed. Upon getting the truck the fuel reading was below 1/2. I took pictures in an attempt to dispute the issue but kept getting errors while attempting to upload those pictures. So prior to returning the truck after only traveling 15 miles I had to spend + $20 additional dollars to fill it up to 3/4 of a tank. The attendant should have followed me to truck and verified the mileage and fuel level prior to completing the transaction. Returning the truck after hours was just as difficult. Once again the the online experience was unpleasant. I implore Uhaul to please update their system to be more user-friendly and helpful. In addition, the outside of the truck was dirty, but at least the inside was clean. All in all, I would like to thank you for allowing me to use your vehicle to complete my move.

Location offered after hours drop off, but entire location was gated. The only reason we were able to get in and drop off was because a storage customer with a gate key let us in and out! No one answered the phone when we tried to call. There was no AFTERHOURS contact information posted. Would never use this location again!!
