Windscreen wiper on passenger stopped working in a snow squall on the 401. The radio clock was not set to the right time (may sound petty but it isnt something you can reset when you are on the 401) What is really annoying now is my inability to bring your receipt. What company doesn't send receipts as PDFs. You send it as a GIF which my Android phone has no print option for. You print this receipt just does not work. I will try it on my iPad in a few minutes but this should be a no brainer operation. As always the actual total cost of the Uhaul truck is a shock but it did do a huge load and got me home weary but safe.

We are still waiting for the area manager to contact us back, as nobody seems to care about refunding us! The Internet at this location is always slow or down and they massed up our payment by taking the same amount twice for the same contract.

Terry BuckThis location was the FOURTH location that Uhaul had forwarded my "Reservation" to. I had booked several days in advance at another location only to be bounced around from location to location to get the specific equipment I "reserved". Reservation means nothing to this company. Their Reservation Guaranteed policy only applys if they can't give you anything from any location no matter how far...not that I'd want their $50 for another day of headache. Uhaul is cheap for a reason, there's no quality, there's no reservations, there's no safe equipment. This was the last straw (I've used Uhaul for 11 different moves, it just gets worse) STAY AWAY! REVIEW FOR SPECIFIC LOCATION: Cell service is terrible for Uhauls digital contract signing. The equipment I needed was only available at this location for 2 suspected reasons: #1: took forever to get through digital signing because their digital equipment (tablet) and cell reception was poor. #2: rental trailer had a nail in the tire and was out of round and approximately 10 years old. (Had to re-inflate tire several times) these tire issues reduced my gas mileage costing me more for my move. Trailer sat overnight in my driveway and had ZERO psi in the tire when I went to return it. Had to pump it up AGAIN. Uhaul clerk had to of known about the failed tire before I picked up the equipment. SKETCHY!!! Not sure why I needed to supply THREE emergency contact numbers IN ADDITION to my own contact number (Who has that many "emergency" contacts?)

Walter HanekYour staff was amazing... you computer system you have ur staff using or ur website I booked from is not. I booked online and everythongbwas different then what I booked..... the poor lady had to fight with the computer to get everything to load for her at pickup. Then I had someone calling my emergy contact over and over the next day saying my truck was late when I booked it for 4 days. After the 3 time that same day of me calling ur head office number to get it worked out still was getting calls to my emergency contact... then even after I dropped the truck off they said I was late again... was worked out on the end by ur great staff in the end but something has to change in ur system your employees cant do their jobs properly if are working with a computer system that doesnt work.... I work for u-haul about 15 years ago and it was bad back then but this experience but this time ordeing from you was the worst I have ever seen...

In reality we had been credited for extra distance but there had been some disconnect. The staff at the drop-off coordinated with some sort of dispatch and sorted it out for us. All in all, they handled it well.

John SkanesThe online pre-checkin program didn't work ( I received 4 separate verification codes - none of which worked), so I went to the rental location and the agent there couldn't seem to get her iPad program to work properly either. Added to that, she spelt my name wrong so that also created delays in getting the contract prepared. The whole process took over an hour by the time I got the truck and left. Fortunately the truck ran well.

I was pushed aside so they could check other customers lottery tickets... and then sell and issue new tickets... and then go on to check customers with ice cream out. I stood there in disbelief for 20 minuets while this all took place. And the truck was blocked in by the owners sisters vechicle. It was upsetting also because I had wanted to pick up in town because we were on a time crunch and wasted an hour and half driving out to the pick up location and back to town and standing there, when there was clearly a pickup spot 5 minutes away from the location I needed the truck. Would never recommend this spot and will never give business to pinehurst gas & variety. If U-Haul wants to up there reputation start pulling your name out of places like this.

My pick up time was 9:30 leaving me 30 minutes to pick it up and drive it to my move out time at 10. I did not leave until 10:15 because this lady seemed to have no idea how to do her job. I was then left with an hour to move out of my place instead of the 2 hours I had booked. The place reamed of cat urine and litter.
