I was charged for fuel but I returned the truck at same level as when I picked it up. I was also charged for cleaning but I had cleaned it prior to drop off. And I was charged for the drop off even though I followed the directions for no charge if done online.

Troy JWanted 2 and half hrs for a truck that was suppose to be a 20 ft and got a 10 ft had to make 2 trips. Didn't have to return the truck until the next day I returned it the same day and you charged late fee. I called and hopefully took it off.
Sharon RThe check in to return the U-Haul was having problems so even tho we completed the return on app when I went in to check n make sure everything was ok I was asked why we didn't finish checking in on app. I indicated we did it 4 times. The only other issue we had was some how around the left middle of truck our paintings got wet as we traveled in a bunch of rain.

norman hThe website said that the trailer would be available for pick up at 9:00 a.m. on Monday morning. It was not available until 10:30. When I went to hook onto the trailer, I noticed both passenger side tires had bubbles and the front wheel was bent.
Baylor SThis place does not answer their phones, called well between their service hours several times and left messages with zero response. Was also charged a fee with no explanation to why the day after return. I was okay paying the pending fees with the after hours drop off because I received a receipt as to why. This place needs to do better. Communication is absolutely awful. Running a very poor business and making U-Haul look bad overall. They should be held accountable and the company should not have to look bad due to a location being bad.

Clay SI was charged a $25 cleaning fee for dog hair between the seats even though I never had a dog near the truck let alone the cab. Wonder if it is standard practice to send out filthy trucks with low gas and then charge a cleaning fee but not clean it???
Robert EGet rid of the online stuff. It is not user friendly. I see this costing you customers.
Felicia MThe problem is with their hours and the online reservation process. The whole thing was a nightmare of internet red tape, authorization numbers, and passwords. I just wanted a human being to help me. I hated our experience but I think it was more the fault of the online system.

I've rented a lot of equipment from U-Haul over the years, but never had a situation on a pick up like this photo copying my drivers license with her phone in the office and wished I picked it up was definitely strange. The young lady that waited on me was very nice though.
Jerome HHad a lot of difficulty in returning the trailer, no one was present at facility because it was Sunday and were closed. Tried using U-Haul ap, was difficult to navigate, finally called a U-Haul rep.was able to return equipment. You need to make the U-Haul ap more user friendly
Donald LThe customer service attendant did not wear a mask, nor stay behind the plexiglass. She had me take a pen to sign the document and told me I could keep it. When I said "no, thank you" and put it back, she asked which pen it was. I gave it to her and she threw it in the trash. She was intentionally rude and disrespectful. You either care about preventing COVID or you don't. If you don't, there's no point in throwing out a perfectly good pen.

Everything was outside which would be fine IF it wasn't 102 degrees outside with no clouds, major beautiful HOT sunshine to try to read my phone screen to access the passcodes, etc. NOT A FAN OF THIS LOCATION, HOWEVER, THIS AREA OF THE STATE HAS LIMITED, EXTREMELY LIMITED OPTIONS!!

ROBERT HThere was a single worker on site, who was quite rude to me and my father, sold me a trailer hitch attachment saying that it was just what I needed (but after my father pointed out that it wasn't, she admitted to knowingly selling an inadequate item). She was unable to perform the basic functions of attaching U-Haul trailer to my vehicle, and demanded assistance from both my father and I to accomplish this. Of note, I am a physically weak woman with a common, exclusively female name, and my father had not initially planned to come along. Had he not, though, it seems that the single site worker had no alternate means of completing the contract. I recommend: Hire more workers, at least enough to physically fulfill the demands of the job. Consider keeping more hitch attachments in stock; at the very least, do NOT lie to your customers. Avoid rude or dismissive responses to questions.
Helen NAfter hours/ day not open. Did return online. Prior to return spoke with a manager that was listed for Lamar. Original reservation was set to go to that location (the one not recieved). New reservation was going to a different area and the system show returning trailer to a separate location than the truck far apart from each other. After speaking with the manager he stated we would not be charged an additional day (Friday 7/2) no additional time for all the confusion in the first place. The Lamar manager was very curtious. Recieved charges/receipt for the auto transport, no explanation of charges for the truck. Very disappointed by the management of our reservation/rental and return by uhaul. The individuals who helped in person did their best to accommodate given the lack of help from uhaul. Showing they had equipment available at certain locations when they didn't. Had to call each location directly to speak with someone who is physically able to see what they had on site. Had to compensate with a smaller truck, left behind items that wouldn't fit had to take longer with loading truck to pack it tighter.
Nicole PStop having your customers use the app. It has not worked correctly the last 2 rentals. I purposely put the time for when a person would be there so I wouldn't have to use the app that doesn't work.

Mark SI felt a little insulted by the bill I received for cleaning the truck and the comment about the picture that I took of the dash. The picture did clearly indicate the mileage and gas level despite the comment on the receipt. I apologize that I did not sweep the truck and fold the blankets. Perhaps your representatives should make a point of communicating that refolding the blankets is expected.
Dean RThe attendant was very rude and not helpful at all. I had a hard time processing everything by phone because I'm just not good at using current technology.. It would be wise to have someone who can be helpful!! Otherwise I would not recommend this certain place!!
susan lThe trailer that I used was excellent. The negative everything was the check-in and checkout process. This was the first time that I've used U-Haul. And like I said the equipment is excellent. But the check-in and checkout process is undesirable

I would not recommend anyone work with this location, I would travel a 100 miles before working with this location. Took over an hour to get the truck.

Corina R9-2 Hours are so short. Didn't answer phone during business hours. Confusing answering machine message about drop off. When I finally met the with a physical person she was very kind and helpful.

Joshua SDolly had a broken Fender. I pointed it out and the lady just nodded.
Arthur NFirst the lady in the Office was "sharp tongued, and not friendly at all"... I asked her if I could just pickup the 15 ft Truck at that time 0930, and come back in the afternoon 1500-1600 for the Dolly, she told me NO that she was leaving at 1330 and I would have to be back by that time!. As I explained to her, there was no place the park the Truck AND the Dolly at the location we were loading at. Have to pull in 100ft and then back out. As you know that is nearly impossible with a Dolly. We had to drop the Dolly at a Gas Station about 1/4 mile away from the House, not a good thing to do for a 68yo guy.. She did not even go with me to check the Truck out, instead went and stood on the other side of the Yard by the Dollys.. The Truck was very DIRTY and had bug splatter ALL OVER THE WINDSHIELD and front of the Truck, I stopped at a Car Wash and sprayed off the bugs!. My friend John helped with sweeping out the 15ft box, as my Wife could not get in there.. I have used U-Haul for 5 Rentals in the past 3 weeks, we had to move from 2 locations in Texas to Colorado, and then BACK to Texas for our Work!. And I even WORKED at a U-Haul in St. Louis in the 1980's, we would have caught HELL from our Boss for a Dirty Truck!. One of the Rentals an "In Town Rental" (Fredericksburg, TX forth week of July) of a Dolly for 3 days never did appear on my Account Page.. This Drop-Off Lady was not very friendly a few Days earlier when I dropped off the big 12 ft Trailer, I just figured she was having a bad day or something. I had to stand at the counter then while she did a reservation on the phone. Do you really make a person standing in your Office wait while you do a Phone Call?? Times have sure changed in the U-Haul Company. She even made me to a 2nd Assurance after having just dropped off a 900 mile Rental Trailer a DAY EARLY, just days before.

DAVID GI opened 11 lockboxes to find one key: not for the 15 foot truck that I requested, but a 10 foot truck instead. Then that particular truck did not contain the utility dolly that I had paid for.
Dean Ri had to leave the truck without checking in due to the place being closed, the lady who answered the phone when i called was extremely rude . she told me that i leftit the parked halfway in the street which was not true as several towdollies was parked between the truck and the street,also the place is not easy to find

Paul CI dropped off after hours. I used my phone to do the drop off and to pay for my extra day off use. The place is clean and there are cameras everywhere, so I felt secure in the drop off. Checking the trailer in online was so easy! 5 Stars!
