The manager at your San Marcos location on old RR 12 was very helpful. The hooks for safety cables would not fit in my hitch and she found some shackles for me to solve that problem.

Christy ArandaFirst location, "Al's Mart" in San Marcos had no idea what they were doing. Completed the mobile check-in only for the person working to not give me the keys. Had to go to a second location and the mobile check-in was still an awful process. What's the point of having 2 employees behind a desk at your location if I'm going to handle every bit of the check-in, inspection, and sign-up prices? Very frustrating.
Jack McDonnellI set a pick up time at 3:00, at 3:10 i got a text saying i was late, i texted back saying i was running late and would be there by 4:00. i arrived around 3:30 and he had just tried calling me to say i was late. it was a bit annoying.

Then I had soooo many complications with that site, but Yvonne Andrews, Reservation Manager, made it sooo much better and found this location for me. MARY GUTIERREZI loved the idea of returning the truck via an iPhone app. Disappointed that somehow, I was kicked off, I even tried to get back on the app. My order was already gone. I had to return to the location the next morning to complete the transaction. Frustration and time consuming during a stressful time of moving. The staff were helpful and attentive so that helped a lot.

Richard BeckerNor drop off location policy , but U-haul corporate were not clear that the rental did not offer a second day refund on a one way trip. I returned the truck within the FIRST 24 hourrs, but paid for a full 48 hours. Plus added an extra 1/4 tank of fuel over what I recieved it at. Nto happy about a 2 day rental without any refund or credit for retend within the first 24 hours.

This has need the worst experience I've had with any service provider… I requested a closer drop off to not only minimize the mileage and gas usage but also to reduce my Uber cost to get back home. I ended up miles away in a closed office! I had no interest in self checkout but I had no choice…The dashboard on the app is not working, I managed through the web site to return the truck, but every time I tried to log back in, it would not allow me! Now I'm sure the tow dolly is not " returned " even though it's attached to the truck. The system was working fine when it came to charging me $11 dollars for extra miles that I wouldn't have if I was able to drop off at a reasonably close location. Saying you're too busy is not an excuse to leave a 69 year old guy out in Texas 100 plus weather to take pictures to show that the truck condition is acceptable especially when I did not want to do "self checking" to begin with. Adding insult to injury, the mover I booked through the U Haul app to load my furniture did not stack the items optimally and I ended up leaving quite a few items that I know have to travel back 2 hours back to bring what what I couldn't fit in my car that I was towing and to top it off, I don't know where the bottom supports of my bed frame are forcing me to sleep on the floor for 2 nights. Hopefully, they are still at my old apartment. At least the manager of my previous apartment was kind enough to allow me to come leave the excess items in the apartment without any extra charge… that's what I call customer service. Needless to say I'm not happy with this experience at all and I will anyone within ear shot to avoid using U Haul if the could. I could go on, but I really don't see the point and this will likely fall on deaf ears. Thanks for making this a miserable move. Ghassan Abboud

Zhuokun PanMy 10 foot truck was given to someone else, so I was given a larger one that I didn't want because it was way too big. It cost me an extra $120 to pay for parking because that truck was too big to park at my regular parking. It doesn't seem fair to me that I paid more because a mistake they made.

RITA BROWNThrew a lugnut off the trailer in the first 200-250 miles. Bought 4 replacements @ AutoZone. Had to re-torque the lugs every 75-100 miles after that. Center lamp of the "Over-80 lamps" on the back of the trailer is out.

Ruth LacyThe service man had a bad attitude & treated me differently than other people he was helping. Had a cavalier attitude about everything and was not very helpful. Tried to get me to add insurance and was rude when I politely declined. He kept insisting I add it and had a puss look on his face when I said no for the last time. Do not recommend. You could tell he treated me differently people of the color of my skin
