Clean the cabin area of a truck before you rent it; the cabin area, where people sit, had dried on soda in the cup holders, and no one has vaccuumed that truck in a while. We left the cabin area as 'clean' as we found it. I am looking for alternatives to UHaul as this kind of thing would never happen if a human were involved at the location. You probably will report this as something to do with the location; it is not the location, it is UHAUL

You need to eliminate this step in the dropoff process. Also You need a paper backup when the app doesn't work and prompt processing of keys that are left in lockbox. I should not have to return to location the next morning to ensure proper closeout. Very bad.

We hadn't set up the phone pickup and when we called the main office, they were surprised the office was closed as their records showed it was supposed to be open. It took us an extra 30 min to get the keys.

I do not have a receipt, nor can I find one in your iOS app or in my email. It took me 30 minutes to use your call center powered digtial app to take all the pictures. So, average experience. Not impressed. Will use U-haul again because its convenient.

Abdul HThis location is closed on Wednesdays. You have to use UHaul's online app to check out the truck. The check out process was not seamless and too much time to re-enter information. The driver's door would not close completely. The dashboard light indicated that. Why was this truck available if there is a safety issue with door not closing? The windshield was dirty and the windshield wipers would not clean because they were dried out. Could not get a different truck. Again, no one there to help you.

Qais HFurniture pads were paid for but not provided. Pick up was outside of operating hours, so I presume someone forgot to put them in the truck. Suggest you call and make sure they prep the truck with requested items if you're picking it up outside of operating hours.
Stanley CMy wife and I had 2 reservations for pickup trucks made more than a week in advance. Go to the scheduled pick up time to find the office closed on July 3rd. And neither reservation had an assigned truck. The phone rep got us a box truck to use so the Danville 4th of July parade wasn't a disaster. I don't know how a reservation is ignored and no one contact us. You had our phone numbers and email addresses. We could have gone somewhere else if you told us in advance. Instead you caused panic and frustration. The gas tank was not filled, and I put 4 gallons in for a 24 mile trip. I will not be returning to your site again and will ask the Kiwanis of the San Ramon Valley use a different company for rental trucks.

Had I known there wasn't going to be a person to communicate and work with I never would have rented from this location.

Kelly SI've used this store many times for their good service. This time, I've made scheduled to pick up at earlier time than store open hour with mobile pick up. However, after check-in with mobile, the mobile app won't give ma any information about how to pick up key and process mobile pick up. It mentioned to pick up when store opens. Later, store mentioned that they a key in the safe box where I should have been mobile pick up. I am not sure if this is mobile app issue or store did not set up properly.
ALEX KI've rented a few vehicles through UHaul through the years and this was, by far, my best experience. The young man helping me at the counter was awesome. Got me in and out very quickly. The van I rented was newer, clean and everything worked perfectly. This was a great UHaul experience. Well done.
BRADLEY PHorrible trying to get the website/app to work properly to get the combination for the key. Called CS several times, on hold several times for 2,5 hours, at night. Finally got through, I ordered a 10' truck, received the email notification of the truck, but they reserved a van which did not fit my items. Huge hassle, very dissatisfied.
Stacy OHorrible experience, the worst nightmare of any mover. I requested a truck a month in advanced, payed my dues and was told I had 24/7 check in access with a pick up time 8:30am. I arrived at the time I requested my U-Haul and then I had trouble with check in. Then after 45 minutes later I finally got my code to get my key, and the key wasn't even there! By this time it was 9:15am and I clearly saw someone inside the office! And he basically pointed at the "opening hours" that said 9:30am. I called the office and the representative was trying to reach the branch manager and he was ignoring the calls in front of me! After an hour of waiting, and being treated horrible he finally came out and his excuse was "sorry the night crew forgot". He was there at 9:00am and he ignored me and also ignored every call. That is not someone you need to have representing your business, horrible customer service! I really wish he was in my shoes at the time and saw how he treated me. He made me wait an hour extra and his excuse was "my bad don't know what the night person did" while he arrived at 9am and told me to wait until he opened at 9:30am. Horrible employee, just plain horrible

We did not have any food or drink stored in our unit, so I am thinking maybe they went after some cleaning supplies or something. Unless you can store your things in a rat proof container, I would not recommend storing it here.
