We were charged the original $16. Discount because we brought the truck back with 1/8 tank of gas which is what we were told to do at pick up. When we dropped it off the guy said the contract said we should have put 1/4 tank of gas. No one told us that. We were told 1/8 and that's what we did. It's wrong of this company to charge for something no one told us about. We did what we were told!!

Gerald lewis jrCOMMUNICATION is key this office lacks every bit of it they picked up my uhaul from the hotel I was staying at didn’t call me or text me until after they picked up the unit then told me they didn’t want to recover it that someone called them tells me I need to get a competitor unit to go and unload my stuff out of his truck into a new one to get my belongings my dads ashes are in the truck and this guy tells me he’s going to throw my stuff in the dump major douche bag named Blake small man syndrome!

Luke PicardOverall, my first experience using Uhaul has been between average and below average. My first reservation was cancelled with a request for me drive out of town to pick up a Uhaul. A second reservation was made on a different date. I took the initiative to go to the location where the Uhaul was supposed to pickup and the time and location was changed without my notification via call or email. My telephone contact information was entered incorrectly due to a very distracted Uhaul staff who "assisted" with the 2nd reservation. There was no initiative to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction to obtain a Uhaul for the time and location that was placed(I keep a copy of my reservation receipt). I had to pay additional fees to stay in my apartment due to the first cancellation and additional fees to the movers due to service time and location was changed. There has to be a better source of communication between Uhaul and the customer. If I didn't do a firm confirmation on Oct 4,2019, I would not have been aware of the changes that was made without my notification. I wanted to thank Megan (Customer Service after hours) who provided me step by step instructions to pick up the Uhaul. She was very professional and apologized several times.

William DutyWas miss lead on gas requirement. Rental was on empty with 25 miles remaining. Was told to bring back with a quarter tank. I filled up the van $55 I returned the van 3/4 full. I was given a $16 credit. So the rental was $89 and $55 in gas so $144 total. I was told to contact corporate U-Haul to see what could be done. I don't have the time so I'm just out $50 some bucks. Great job on customer service.

Travis A Hoffpauirhave the store open at the pick up time or don't allow scheduling before the store opens. The truck was on E which it was supposed to be full so I was given a $35 dollar discount. it cause $40 to give me a half a tank. Look at current gas prices 40 gallon tank times $2.69. of course they took the $35 charge.

Douglas TheriotOil light in truck was on and truck ran rough. Told Mgr and he said drive it! AC stopped working about 30 min of being in the truck and worked intermediatly more So not during the trip!

Parish TillmanOnly 1 person working on a busy saturday. Took a while to pick up equipment because of it. Lady had ppl at front counter and really couldn't come out to help hook up equipment. Would suggest just having more than 1 person on weekends
bernadette mack1) Was told they closed at 7 pm - called and they were closed at 6 pm 2) No U-Haul signs from the street - drove by it twice and only because of GPS and another person was there who knew this was a U-Haul drop, did we leave it. 3) Was told that one ways out of state could be dropped off later than pickup time.As it turned out LC charged me an extra $20 day for dropping it off at 7 pm - said that was the policy. As I had a load of food and tools for Deweyville flood victims and could not make it by 3:30 pm. LA drop location person was kind, told me the 3:30 time was what I was to meet and refused a refund based on policy. I asked to speak to U-Haul Mgr for state, got number and explained situation and left my name at the LA U-Haul Head office, to call me - but no one did. I like U-Haul and will use it again - this was just a little disappointing. It may be right that it is in policy ... but needs clarity.

Gary AustinSpecifically picked up a car hauler on our way out of town so personnel could make sure it was properly hooked up and lights were working correctly, but once we were on the road, only the parking lights on the trailer were operations - no brake lights or turn signals worked. Also one of the tire straps was not secured properly and came off in transit. Upon return to the drop off location, we found that the dolly assigned to us was not the one we actually had.

The furniture dolly would have helped with my move but there weren't any at this location when we went to grab the pads and smaller items.

Cynthia Guilloryyour local business were great - the improvement needs to be with uhaul reservation and scheduling system - first it sent me to a location that didn't rent trailers - then booked a pick up at a location that isn't open on the day scheduled for pick up?? so corporate needs allot of work - thankfully all local locations called me and alerted me to the issue - all did a great job to help me - w/o their proactiveness the rental would have been a disaster - can't thank the local business owners enough for their helpfulness - would recommend them all

Mary ElliottTraitor was checked but pickup place when got home to load vehicle lights didn't work due to wires being old and frade. I had to purchase replacement wires for the trailer out of my pocket custermer service was rude and non helpful. This delayed my departure and made me late to my destination and is in acceptable
