Took too long to get the key through the app and was freezing that morning (not their fault, U-Haul app leaves some things to be desired). Windshield wiper fluid was not full. Caused some windshield visibility issues while driving through snow in New Mexico when I ran out after only like 5 uses. Double check all your wiper fluids are topped off before renting please.

Trailers need jacks. Because the parking surface at this location is less than perfectly level it was nearly impossible to unhook the trailer from my truck. I had to leave and get a floor jack and then come back to unhook from the trailer. This is less than ideal.

I feel that trailers should be equipped with 7pin wiring connectors that match up with ALL current production trucks. One should not have to drive down the highway to another location in order to purchase a 7 pin to 4 pin connector just to have lights that are required by law to operate legally.

The bentelman was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He went back to the office to get an additional 4 pin cable as my truck only had a 4 pin connector in the bed. He connected everything and i was one my way. Always have a good experience at this location.

The gentlemen on the front desk was super helpful, I was advice be the U-Haul 1800 number customer support that they will be open during the new year weekend and they were off. I ended 2 day on standby and he was able to call and coordinate with the U-Haul representative of the area and extend my truck rental for 2 extra days since they were off for the holidays weekend. So Kudos to Mr. Chris (U-Haul rep) and the front desk attendant. In the other hand we need to fix the communication issue between U-Haul and there partners. I should have not needed to waste 2 day waiting on a storage unit during the holidays, and freaking out about been late on the truck rental. for question call back at 530-933-1080.

Arrived at exactly 5pm and they were closed. Had to do a very long check out by phone or b charged more. If you are going to be closed, let us just drop it and make check out simpler, too slow.

My stuff got stolen. Told by the owner, "oh that happens a lot, my cameras got struck by lightening. Went back 4 months later camera were still in their boxes!!! Owner is not trust worthy. Never go here!

I was charged FOUR months of rent upon moving in. When I called to ask for an explanation, no one answered. I left a voicemail and my call wasn't returned. Luckily my credit card company took care of it and I was only charged one month. Additionally, when I moved in I was told my unit was "accidentally" rented out and online reservations are no longer valid. I was "lucky" and got the "only" unit left which was not by the office and didn't seem secure in the least! There's not gated access and anyone can come and go as they please. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

1) the location gave me an auto transport with a broken tiedown strap. They then used a cheap ratchet strap to try and fix it and I ended up having to buy a heavy duty one to securely tie down the car 2) The location changed my drop off location without telling me. I had already reserved the drop off location closest to my new home and they changed it to one 30 minutes away.

More of a UHaul issue I think, even though I checked in online, supplied pics of my license, and paid for the reservation; it seems like it takes an excessive amount of clicks to complete the reservation at the pick up site. For a simple trailer rental, I should be able to walk in, get my assigned trailer, and head to the pick up point. The people at the site are great, this is no reflection on them and their cheerful service. I suspect Uhaul could do better on their software.

We had a unit for almost 2 years. Our auto pay debit card on file expired and the owner called asking if everything was ok. I apologized and updated the information. He could have just closed our account, sold our stuff, but he was so nice about it and was concerned if we were ok! I would recommend T-N-T every time!!
