Head office changed my location without notice. I wasted 45 minutes going from the original location to the new location. This is unprofessional and caused me unnecessary anxiety and frustration. A simple notice in advance of my delivery date would have easily avoided this problem.

I recently rented a U-Haul truck from TW Variety Store, and I must say that I had a truly wonderful experience. From start to finish, the level of customer service I received was outstanding, and the honesty displayed by the staff was refreshing. Upon arriving at the store, I was greeted warmly by the employees who were eager to assist me with my rental needs. They patiently walked me through the rental process, explaining all the details and ensuring that I understood everything. Their knowledge and professionalism were evident, making me feel confident in my decision to choose TW Variety Store. What impressed me the most was the honesty displayed by the staff. They provided me with accurate information regarding the rental rates, any additional charges, and the condition of the truck. There were no surprises or hidden fees, which is often a concern when renting vehicles. I truly appreciated their transparency, as it made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. The U-Haul truck itself was in excellent condition. It was clean, well-maintained, and ready for use. The staff took the time to explain the features of the truck and provided some useful tips for a smooth and safe journey. It was evident that they cared about their customers' satisfaction and wanted to ensure a positive experience. Throughout the four hours that I had the truck, I encountered no issues or complications. It performed admirably, and I was able to complete my moving tasks efficiently. Returning the truck was also a breeze, with the staff once again displaying their excellent customer service skills.

This location has the worst person. I booked dolly and the guy told me that he doesn't have dolly , he gave me his own dolly with $20. When I returned truck he asked me to go in no prohibited zone and break traffic rules and says all Indians are same. I all sure that guy for that .

Pricing is very oppressive. You showed me $ 40 on my order summary price. But you took my $61 because the power balance was towards you. I would not use the service if I had known the price would be this much. The stuff I bought with $150 you cost me $61 to transport it. Totally unfair and unacceptable

It took me one hour to get my truck, we were sooo late to move, and the shop owner didnt knew English stupid, second one was arrogant

Very rude and lazy store owner He had my info to let me know the store opens at 10am Made so many excuses could of called or emailed, he said he thought u haul called me to advise very very rude Plus he kept trying to up sell me things I told him I don’t want Very very disgusted from u haul, please look into this location.

- charged double my reservation quote from online, no response yet from customer service email... - car alignment is greatly off that the steering wheel is turned almost 90 degrees to keep van straight - back door trim and flashing is gone so when it rains it leaks into the van and makes everything wet. After it rained the van STUNK and was still wet when we returned it several days later - rear left turn signal is broken/burnt out - tire pressure is all over the place. I had to fill the tires with air as there is likely a slow leak (no nails, likely the seal). - lastly, the van SMELLS - THIS VAN WOULD NEVER PASS A SAFETY CHECK, NOT SURE WHY IT WAS ALLOWED TO BE RENTED TO A PAYING CUSTOMER.

I reserved a dolly online but was told when I arrived that there wasn't one available. I also selected mobile check in, did the full mobile check in, and then was told I needed to check in with the cashier, who needed to see my license again even though I had just scanned it online. Not very streamlined, very annoying.

Vehicle took almost half an hour to organize picking up in person. Was standing in the store waiting to receive the keys when I had provided all necessary documents.

There was some issues with the UHAUL website when picking up the moving van but the store owner was extremely nice and friendly to work with! UHAUL please fix your website.

Such a wonderful experience renting our van from TW variety that I've deliberately only booked from this location for all of our company needs. The owners are very courteous and such a pleasure to deal with, van is always in great condition! Thanks again for your help this season :) Maria

A one vehicle location is somewhat absurd

There was dog hair everywhere in the driver and the passenger seat. I had also uploaded the pictures for the same. And there was no reimbursement is terms of the cleanliness of the driver area.

I have rented GMC Savana truck for 4 hours and driven it for 44kms, I filled 15 liters of gas to return with full tank, which means hardly 3kms/ltr, this is very bad...I am not sure whether they are renting trucks with full gas tank..

The process of getting approved is too aggressive and makes no sense at all. i was frustrated! I would NOT recommend Uhaul to anyone! Merci!

Store owner provided outstanding service. However, he is the only reason I would ever rent from U-Haul again. The U-Haul rental system online was unable to release the truck to me when I went to pick it up. It took an hour and a half of phone calls and online searches and chat messaging with your support team and he was still unable to get the system to release the truck. Between us we agreed to a workaround completely outside the Uhaul system. Had he listened to your online support representative, I would not have had a truck at all. Also, although the gas gauge read full when I took the truck, when I filled the truck up to bring it back, it obviously had NOT been full. I only drove 43 km but had to put in almost 20 Liters to bring it back to full. You need a better system for calculating how much gas was used. Either that, or you have to be sure a tank is full when the truck goes out. And of course, your system does not provide a means of refunding the extra gas I purchased over and above what I used. All in all, Uhaul itself provided very poor service. Ravi the store representative was amazing

There was an extra charge for the fuel, which shouldn`t be done since I put enough gas just before parking the van at the drop off place. Unfortunately I didn`t confirmed it with the owner, who was busy at his store and promised to email me the bill later. When I found that there is a extra charge for the fuel, I made a phone call and was told that I returned van with the less amount of gas then I supposed to - which is not true. Not a big money, but this kind of little scams don`t make a good impression. So, to avoid being overcharged, check everything with the owner before you leave the store. So far this location was the worst experince of using uhaul for more than 20 times.

I requested for 9:00 AM and got a call that cannot deliver on requested time. The agent was not at all supporting and was not even willing to park the car at the desired location and asked me to repark the car for him at his desired place. Also, refused to give me a printed copy of the final bill that I was for reimbursement from my office. Overall very unpleasant experience.

They didnt knew uhaul policies. The vehicle was like someone homeless was living in it. Every door was not locking properly and was creeking..

The van should be cleaned out between uses. The customer service was good. This was a convenient location for me.

Van had damage, looked it wasn't washed since it was purchased. Garbage inside that I had to clean out before my friend got in. It was filthy. Advertised $19,99/day, then the $15 insurance - I'm fine that that. Then the mileage charges and full tank of gas for a van that looked, felt and smelled like homeless people rent it at night. Never again. Worst rental experience solely because the van was disgusting. For $85 - cheap to rent on a minivan on Turo that is clean.

Overall the experience was good. The truck was a bit dirty but it drove well and the dealer was very friendly. Couldn't speak to whether it was well maintained but had no issues whatsoever. Had to assume it was well maintained. Everything worked out very well and couldn't really complain.

I logged online and completed the mobile pickup but once i arrived i could not do mobile pickup at the location. the dealer did not know i was there to rent and i had to wait 30 minutes for him to do a return and then complete the paperwork also he did not have the furniture dolly that i had ordered online. i had to complete all the information i already did online again in store. The vehicle had the yellow engine light on and the tire needed to be inflated. this has been my worst uhaul rental that i have done

The truck had a warning light saying rear right tire was low - I was told not to worry. I explained I needed to return the truck 1 day later. I was told "that's ok, there will be no extra charge". I was then charged $172 rather than $106. $19,95/day? Nope. Apparently the truck was due back by 11 a.m. Sunday. I was not told anything about 11 a.m. That was news to me. also truck had 1/4 of a tank when I picked it up so I had to immediately fill it up.
