Jay at jail Johnson Ferry is a great guy. He always goes over and beyond with his customer service and pleasant personality
MORGAN AThe brakes do not work properly. The passenger door lock does not work. 177k miles. It is done. Brakes gave out twice on the way to return it.

Michael NThe wiring harness was defective and I had to make an emergency repair to the brake and turn signal lights. Also the tires were at only 25 psi vs 65 psi. This delayed me for over an hour. The location and owner is great at this location, but the unit was not ready for service and I had to make this repair on the road. If possible, I would like my rate adjusted accordingly for my time and delays.

SERAFINA MThe store owner did not check mileage on the truck with me - he told me to leave the keys because he was with another customer. The final bill included 84 miles, which is over 3x the mileage I put on the truck. I logged the trip in Google Maps from my house to the storage unit x2 trips: Total mileage was 23,9 miles. Shameful money grab, will not be using this location again.
WILLIAM NReturned my trailer a couple minutes before I was supposed to. The person who accepted the drop off at the store was extremely rude and super pretentious. He never checked my drop off in to the system so I got in trouble with u-haul because according to them I hadn't dropped off the trailer.

Steve SOwner wasn't there when we showed up for the rental - ended up getting it 25 minutes later than we wanted and had moving helpers already on the clock. Then he could t find my reservation. Second bad experience with UHaul . Will not use UHaul again if I can help it.

Tomiko WWe were really excited to find this location because it was very convenient and when we picked up the trailer the gentleman was so kind! When we got the trailer home to load up we noticed that the floor wasn't normal so I called the office party to pass along our concerns and he told me it was totally fine totally normal (at no point did he offer for us to come switch the trailer with another one he just said it was fine). The next day we have the trailer loaded up and hit the highway because we had a timeline to follow and the trailer drove AWFUL. It was shaking and swaying the whole way no matter what speed we were driving. My dad was driving and he was so uncomfortable with it and he's driven with several trailers and never felt that way. So I called back to the office party and the gentleman was quite rude on the phone, asked why we didn't come switch the trailer this morning (after it was completely loaded when he hadn't said the day before that that was an option) and he said basically that we could pay a massive fine to leave the trailer at another location or call road side assistance if something happened while driving it back. He didn't try to help us switch the trailer where we were or anything. I understand that he likely had another person picking up the trailer we were bringing back and he was counting on it's return but he had no kindness or compassion on the phone. So we will definitely be using an alternate location in the future even though they are not as convenient. Even if there isn't much you can do to help in a situation like this you can still show empathy or try to come up with other solutions rather than basically saying "tough for you, deal with it"

Steve SThe safter hpours check in process is not good. I went to the app and went through the check in procedure, it gave the final instructions ... leave the key in the drop box, I did. this was 10 pm on Saturday night. i got the final bill and was charged $59 for an extra day.
