Jorge was amazingly helpful and he was the nicest guy ever to answer all your questions and wash all your worries away! It was my first time using Uhaul and I had no issue with picking up/using/returning the 10' truck. I'll definitely recommend his service/location and will also use it myself for future needs. Thanks Jorge!

kevin cThis location had a truck available after our reservation at West Coast Storage in San Pedro was not honored. The Smog Company was helpful, prompt, and worked with us to make it right after the original reserved location left us high and dry. The truck was clean and worked well. We will definitely contact this location first for our future needs.

WON LTake a picture of your starting and ending miles with your phone. Have that ready. They want to use a link on your phone upon arrival, a reference name and phone number, but not explain why. Know that the goal of this place is not timeliness, friendliness or customer service. Plan to get shouted at if you don't give one word or short answers. They are not interested in you or listening. Go here is you want to be treated like dirt and reminded how busy they are, when you're early, have a reservation and are paying to be there. They have apparently forgotten customers are WHY they are busy. I tried to tell the customer service person that I wasn't happy about how I was being spoken to upon pick up or drop off. I got told that I was a nice person and reasonable. I got an apology and then I got more explanations justifying the poor personal treatment. Never again. I love recommending service places and people. Sorry, but I just can't this time. The cargo truck was fine. I put in extra gas and there was no credit for it and they didn't even check. I got overcharged. He had no idea my starting mileage and made up a number. He threw in a $7 hand truck for free. Maybe he felt bad for the yelling at me? I don't know. I flat out asked if his treatment of me was because I was a woman? He said No. I don't believe him. My friend with me was a man and other male customers were not treated with the same level of rudeness. Dude, I was a paying customer, with a reservation. There was NO excuse. None. For how I was spoken down to, yelled at, scoffed at and mismanaged. Do better. I knew you were busy. I was, too. Here is a hint: I wasn't renting a cargo van for a day at the beach. Figure it out. Do better. Merci.

Rebecca PI'm very disappointed with U-haul. I had a reservation for 10am and didn't receive the truck tell after 12 due to the location not open. Then I go all the way across to another location and they didn't have any. So then I'm sent back to the original location. Complete run around.

That's the only reason I'm not rating this Excellent. The people were above par, the location and ease of dropping of the truck? Not so much, so a head's up would be appreciated. :)

BRENT BThe man that was there was extremely rude didn't give me any information on the truck didn't follow any normal procedures that happened at other u haul. My boyfriend had to come and ask questions because he treated me so badly not giving any information. He didn't tell me the truck was on empty. So many issues. I will NEVER use this neighborhood U haul again.
Teresia FCharge me appropriately? I went over the fixed milage and had to pay $20 but they wouldn't charge me? Or my payment wasn't being accepted. and when I called to try to make the payment (approximately a week later) customer service told me they couldn't do anything about it because there was no invoice until a few days later. Finally when I received an invoice to pay the outstanding fee, maybe 10 days after my rental, I paid it immediately to avoid any late fees. and a few days after, uhaul collection emailed me claiming I will owe $50.. adding the $30 late fee even though I already paid... I blame myself for renting a uhaul from somewhere other than an official uhaul rental location..

Alicia DDidn't have a Dolly available had to drive elsewhere to get one. He was nice enough to get me 5 mile credit since I had to drive somewhere to get it. Overall because of that the guy was nice and polite. If you need an appliance dolly don't Come here go elsewhere.
