The truck did not want to go into reverse. Dispatch made it seem like everything I needed the store had which was not the case. It not the store fault dispatch was just trying to make a sale and get more money which is not professional at all.

Truck was on empty. Not clean. Windshield dirty and cargo area trashy. I had to repair mirrors that were so loose they would not set. Passenger door warning light came on and door was hard to close securely. The female attendant had a very stern an unpleasant reaction to my pointing this out and even though there was another truck on the lot refused to switch it out and claimed the other truck was reserved. Fortunately the equipment made the trip and I returned it in much better condition than I received. The "couldn't care less" and just short of hostile attitude is why I will never go back. I had to have the truck or I would have walked away on the spot. I doubt there will be many "next" customers at this location but improvement would not be difficult.

Over charged!! Receipts from uhaul did. Not match charges. Location blamed Uhaul, Uhaul told me to dispute with my bank! Never had a problem with Uhaul until now. Very disappointed in the location and Uhaul!!! $400 for a 2 day $19,95 a day rental. Will never do business with either again!

We reserved our U-haul a few days in advance. We chose to pick up our U-Haul after hours on Wed, 8/2, at 6 pm using the mobile pickup. When we got to the place, we could not pick it up through the app or online when we signed in and did not know why, so we called U-haul several times and finally got through to an agent who saw our reservation but stated that the pickup location did not confirm it. The U-Haul agent finally confirmed our reservation, and we got the code to the key box. We reserved the Uhaul for 48 hours. The contract stated pick up Wed, 8/2 at six and drop off by Friday, 8/4 at 6. We got off work, drove to the drop-off location on Friday, and arrived at 5:55 pm, before 6 pm. We were charged almost 300 the next day, well over the amount we were told. When we called U-Haul, we were told we were being charged for three days. The agent placed me on hold and called The Spot and was told by them that when they left at 5:30 pm, the U-haul was not there (our contract clearly stated 6 pm) and they would not issue a refund. We now have a dispute and are having the most difficult time trying to get someone to reach out to us. I called in today, 8/10/23, and was told that District Manager or Regional Manager, Mr. Williams put in notes that he tried to reach me, and she confirmed my number, but there was no voicemail set up. I haven't had any missed calls, and my voicemail is set up. I asked for his number and email. When calling in this morning, a lady answered and stated she would try to reach him by 3:00 this afternoon, I called back, and she just said, "No, we couldn't reach him." I have emailed, and no response. I would not recommend using the mobile pickup to anyone. They may have issues of being overcharged with no help getting a resolution.

Be sure the truck has adequate air conditioning. It was 90 plus degrees and there was no air in the truck. The previous renter left their wallet in the truck which means it wasn't cleaned before it was rented out to me. Couldn't imagine what they must gone through.

U-haul was a truck and equipment rental company. Now it seems that you are a truck share company. All interaction is text, app or web based. When you are moving your house and have questions, it is comforting to have someone in person to talk to. I did not have the app and was given a phone number to pick up my truck. When I called, I thought I was going to verbally verify info. I was guided to do things on my browser on my phone in an area where I had poor reception. So the entire experience was maddening and took me more than 30 minutes to complete. If I had to upload documents and images, I should have been able to do that from home in advance.

Everything was fine except for the fact that the gas was at 1/8 full and the owner told me it was 1/4. I went down the road and immediately had to put gas in… so I pretty much put in $16 worth of gas

This was not DCI, they are wonderful! It was changed to pickup at The Spot. Lady there was saying at first there was no trailer for me. Then they found one and wouldn't take my license at first. Uhaul app does not work to upload a picture. Had to get on phone with uhaul and she didn't have a much better attitude! Said I would just call DCI and have them do it, I guess the man then decided he would take my license! I will never rent another uhaul if I have to go to this place again!

The location was great. The employees are very helpful. Apparently the computer system glitched so everything had to be restarted for the rental so it took extra time. The truck had a lot of damage all over. Scrapes and dents don't bother me, but the bumper and grill was zip tied to secure it. The headlights were horrible driving at night. We found out after unloading that the box leaked in the rainstorm we encountered so boxes were ruined, a desk got wet and the surfaces are ruined.

Nobody was there when I arrived. No phone number to call. Nobody at UHaul could reach them. I was sent to another location in town that did not have any trucks. Then was sent to a rural area about 20 miles away that had trucks, but nobody was there and nobody could be reached on the phone. Eventually, a UHaul rep sent me a code to open a lock box at the original location - 2 1/2 hours after I first arrived there.

No one there when I returned it.did not get a receipt. Rodney was an asshole when another u haul place put me on the phone with,,I went to to try and find out where to put key,was not shown where drop box was. Hidden behind a fruit stand come to find out.

No problems at all with location. Air conditioning did not work in truck, no issue for the 20 miles driven. Online reservations did not work still had to go in person to rent truck per unable to completeonline.

My problem is with Uhaul consistently overcharging me for the trucks. I NEVER ask for insurance because my insurance company DOES cover ANY vehicle that I drive, yet time and time again, insurance has ended up on my contracts.

They don't keep their own posted store hours. No cameras watching the drop box so if you pick up a reservation there you may have to wait past your scheduled time to get your rental. May not be able to turn it in on time. Just a big jassle not worth it.
