More clerks at the front desk. Also app should be checked for bugs on a weekly basis. Had issue with it and had to go in.
Luis RMake Sure Customers Are Advised Of All Situations. I Dropped Off Truck After Hours Thinking There Would Be A Drop Box. None Was Located ,So For Security I Placed The Key in The Vehicle To Prevent Theft Thing All Vehicles Are Supplied Atleast 2 Keys. Got A Call Infoming Me I Would Be Charged For A Lock Smith Visit, NOT Cool.

Dave LThe location in Simi Valley,I had the worst rental experience . I have rented uhaul at least 6 times in the past 20 years, but never had an experience as bad as this. When returning the truck,, I wasn't really even greeted. I had to tell the counter attendant that I was returning the truck. Attendant made very little eye contact with me. And when he inspected the truck, I was accused of damaging the side of the truck, so I was unable to obtain my closing receipt. Was informed I'd receive a call back. Never received a call back, and spent 3 hours trying to get a closing receipt. It wasn't until the next day that I was finally able to get an employee from a different uhaul store, track down the regional manager who authorized the closing receipt. The uhaul rental in Simi Valley made an already stressful move, more stressful. I have never had such a horrible nerve wracking experience of being accused of damage, and receipt withheld. And of course in the end, it was proven I did not damage the truck. Never ever recommend this location under any circumstance in simi valley. Employees represent the companies they work for. It's not ethical to accuse customers of wrong doing without proof!

James BEverything went well from the start and Gary was very helpful. The only thing is when I returned the U-Haul cargo van I rented the next day. The app was hard to navigate when returning the van and there's no option to select rental returns. Good thing they were still open, so I physically returned it back to Gary.
JHEWEL MPlease improve the return experience. I was forced to redo the truck photos no less than 3 times, which caused a significant delay to my day.

Steven HThe drop off locations was closed all day on Thursday and Friday (on the days I was supposed to return the Truck) which meant I had to take pictures and drop the keys. Not a comfortable feeling. No real "proof" I had returned the Truck.

jerry iVery convenient and easy drop off. Location was closed, but they were open for 24/hr drop off service. I couldn't figure out how to use my app and I didn't see a separate text to check out, but I still received by email a final invoice.
Dawn HMy overall experience renting with uhaul was not good. My rental vehicle was not available at original location & I was told it was given to someone else & also that it wasn't returned on time. I don't know which is the correct situation. I had to settle for a van & that was very inconvenient due to the fact that I had a refrigerator to move & it is required to be moved standing. I was not gonna risk damaging my appliance by laying it down in a van. It is very unfortunate & disatisfying not to get the vehicle I reserved & needed. I don't know that I can trust uhaul for future service.
Leticia MThe representative told me he sent me a link to take pictures of the front and rear license plate, as I'm taking pictures of my vehicle he comes out to ask me why I'm taking pictures of my license plate. I told him this what he said to do, he argues with me saying he said take pictures of the drivers license. Then he said he sent a link with pictures of the u-haul trailer and if there was damage I could dispute any previous damage. He never sent the link with pictures and when I brought it up to him he said that was a u-haul & customer problem, not his problem.

Lisa MSomeone just came out and yelled key at me. They said I parked in the wrong place even though I was on the lot next to another truck. I told them the key was in the dropbox because that was where the app told me to put it. The lot was a patch of dirt and weeds.

Brandon EStaff was helpful. On-line stuff with camera didn't work and even the guy behind the desk couldn't get it to work. Then when returning it, same problem. It took over half an hour with tech support and still no luck. Finally I was given an e-mail address to send the pictures to. What a pain. The issue was not with the staff, but an over-reliance on technology. However, that delay was too long.

gilbert gThis particular Truck seems to be getting old. It runs a little bit rougher than the one we rented last week. That is probably due to the fact that last week it had 12 038,6 miles This one had 217 004 miles.

Rainford HI don't think it was the fault of the location. There was some coffee that was spilled on the passenger seat when we picked it up. Also, we weren't able to upload all of the photos that we took prior to checking in. I kept the photos, per the front desk person's recommendation. And the particular vehicle we drove, the steering seemed a little loose on the freeway which meant you had to re-correct the vehicle frequently to stay in the lane.

Anthony HThe first impression we had was poor customer service... The lady was rude, annoyed, and unhelpful.... After going back and forth with her,trying to get information on the process of renting, we completed the call with a reservation. Only 20 minutes (give or take) after making the reservation, I received a cancellation email. I then called to Reinstate my reservation and explained that we did not make the "cancel". The pick up and drop off in general went smooth.... And the equipment was in good condition. Customer Service and processing seems to be needing attention.

Dawn PI WAS TOKD AT RENTING THAT THE PUT OF STATE RENTALS WERE ALL NEW EQUIPMENT. THIS TRUCK HAD 60K MILES NO BACK UO CAMERA AND NO CRUISE CONTOL. FOR INTER STATE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE FOR CRUISE CONTROL. ALSO THE ENGINE WAS NOT UP TO THE HILLS A MAXIMUM OF 50 MILES AN HOURS UP HILL.. THERE WAS LOCK ON THE TRUCK LIKE MY OTHER RENTALS. WHEN I DROPPED OFF THE TRUCK I WAS TOLD NO LOCKS O.N THESE RENTALS.. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHEN RENTING.

Dale MTerrifying experience, trailer hitch came off because the man did not put on the trailer hitch pin back on correctly. Its a lock pin that he did npt lock back in place after removing. I was on the freeway and the trailer was swaying. Got off to find out the whole trailer hitch had come off with the ball. I had to jack up the trailer with my own jack since the trailer doesn't have one. Then i had to get another pin from Home depot. I had my children with me!!!! I could have killed us and others on the highway!!!!. I will also write a yelp review and other reviews online

STEPHEN GEquipment was dirty and missing valve stem covers on the tires. For a trailer travelling 1 500 miles. Might want to pay attention to stuff like that. The trailer was extremely dirty. Should maintain mechanically and have a clean appearance.
Christopher WGentleman behind the counter was very nice and helpful, but the truck was pretty dirty inside. This location is convenient for me and this won't deter me from renting from them again.
JENNIFER VPaperwork is excessive. I understand checks and balances for damage liability but it seemed a bit excessive. SO many photographs of the trailer and the rigging. Must of had issues in the past ...
