Get a whole new crew including the manager. First they give me a vehicle good had no gas in the check engine light was on. So they switched it for a different one after giving me a hassle. Then when I took it back I Was told by an employee that they would check me in. That didn't happen I got charged everyday even though I returned the van the same day only had it for about 6 hours . Wouldn't ever go there & will definitely tell anyone that will listen not to ever go there customer service is very bad vehicles are dirty disorganized they don't know what they're doing.
William FergusonOverall my experience was positive. The attendants and staff were professional and took great care of me. My only concern, which I brought to the attention of the attendant when returning the truck, was a faulty ramp on the back of the 15' truck I rented. Instead of remaining securely attached to the truck, my movers indicated it fell off and onto the road at the start of my move. This in turn caused some delays in the loading and unloading process because the movers had to manually adjust the ramp to get it back inside the rear of the truck. A future repair is needed.

I would recommend Michael and the location to anyone interested in a hitch. The staff there all were friendly - It would be great if UHaul would give the location a bit of a polish (very worn floors, feels like it hasn't been updated in a long time) to make the location feel nicer for its employees and its customers.
susan BoehmeNot sure if I would recommend. I periodically rent a van to pick up food baskets for our food pantry. Christmas was hectic. Customers were upset, staff overwhelmed. I didn't have a credit card with me and had to leave and return. I was on a schedule to complete my pickup, and this put me behind. So, this time I decided to check in online. Retrieving the van on (3/19 at noon) went smoothly with only one hiccup. The van was not accessible, so nice young changed my contract to one that was not blocked in. I returned the van around 2pm on the same day. Printing my receipt would have taken a while so I told the clerk an email would suffice. I checked online and saw that the website did not have the van listed as checked in. I called the office and was told that they have the keys, and the van had not been checked in yet, and that I would receive an email soon. Well, it's now almost 1am the next day and the email hasn't arrived yet. I think this office still needs additional help.

Also if someone can clean the U haul out because we had to wipe down knobs, steering wheel and other parts of the U haul it was very dirty inside on different parts of the U haul.

Travis O'DiernoThe location was great and the two rentals I did in person were fantastic - easy to use. However, I attempted to rent an after hours truck - the lockbox was frozen (understandable - it's freezing temps here). I used the online check in system. I clicked that I did not find the keys and messaged customer service that I was unable to locate the keys / do the rental. When I went in person to rent the vehicle I found out that U-Haul said not only that I was able to rent the vehicle but also that I did not return it when in fact it never left the lot and I was not able to rent it.
Elyse TransonConsidering I ordered a Uhaul 2 minutes from where I was cleaning out a house I was not happy to go to 5th and Capitol. Had to drive thru some pretty sketchy neighborhoods and take one plus hours to pick up and get back to where I was cleaning out a house.

Shamani ShikwambiMan at the counter was not welcoming. I've never done this before and I selected the mobile pick up. The instructions told me to go inside to get the keys. I walk up to the man behind the counter and said I needed the keys for one of the trucks. He just looked at me like I was stupid. Like I've done this before. It was a good 5 seconds before he said, "IDK what truck". Sure I guess I didn't say it, but a simple, "For which truck?" Would've been niced than that response. He gave me the keys and said, "If you did the mobile, it would've directed you to the black box and this interaction didn't need to happen." What does that suppose to mean? Is this interaction illegal?! The app also told me to held inside, no black box instructions whatsoever. Anyways, just grabbed the keys and left already 30 minutes late. Had to extend which was okay. Also, the map sends you to the back of the place. Wasn't sure what I was looking for but the tow truck company behind uhual told us to leave which I understand. I just didn't know why it sent us there in the first place. Another is, our dolly and our furniture pads weren't in the truck which I would assume. If not, I didn't see any instructions to get it myself. The process to do a mobile pick up was so long it shouldn't even be an option. Just walk in instead. Gas was confusing. I didn't know how much I should leave in it. More than before? If it's at half tank, make sure to bring it back with half tank or more? Couldn't find it in the contract. I will rent again, but boy was it a headache.

Craig StoneMake sure the assigned trucks are not blocked in by other trucks, that trucks have air in tires, that trucks cargo area is not full of several inches of water, that cabs are reasonably clean. The truck I eventually got, after the first two were not usable for the reasons stated above, had a cab and steering wheel so dirty that I needed to wear gloves to convince myself to accept it, it also reeked of weed, but I took it because by this time I was running very late to start my move.

Aaron CarterThe inside of this place stinks of marijuana. The service is slow and unfriendly. I was yelled at when i returned the trailer. I've rented trailers with you quite a bit, but even though this is the closest location I think I won't be using this spot again.
STEVE MULDERI brought the vehicle back with the same amount of gas that I left with (1\4 tank). The attendant said it was 1/8th of a tank. We went to view it and it was 1/4 tank, as I said it was. She said, "We will adjust the amount." I waited outside and never received an adjustment. I then went inside and, after a long wait, a very rude young man finally adjusted the refund.
Glenn GivensI'm not sure how to rate the location. The staff seemed to be doing their jobs but there was a lot of confusion and frustration in the store when I visited. I was 15 minutes early than expected in picking up the van so that I could start my errands that afternoon. But upon arriving, I was informed that they could not take my card-even though I used the same card just a month before to rent a van. The clerk explained the reason for the change in policy. She was very helpful and attentive. I had no idea that I needed a credit card with a logo. I carry my credit cards that were provided by my bank and Sam's Club. I had to leave to get another card. When I returned, the clerk remembered me and eventually was able to take care of me. Unfortunately by this time, I was more than a half hour late in arriving at my destination( Hunger Task Force) and even later for the distribution of Christmas Baskets to waiting families that were given a time line to receive their food. This was a very frustrating experience for me. I use this location because of its convenient location to my church/food pantry, but when I make a reservation online, I want to be sure that I can be on time for the things I need to complete. My confidence in how this event occurred has been damaged. I'm a recurring customer, but now looking for another way to meet my service needs.

My rental was supposed to start at 10am, i didn't leave with the truck until almost 11:30pm. Was given a smaller truck and even though I wasn't charged for the larger truck that ai didn't get, I had to make more trips with the smaller truck.

Quote" we did not have the unit she wanted so I just her one" quote." When I expressed my disappointment she was very rude and did not accommodate me at all. Of course I was upset because I had movers there and it was a big inconvenience.had to find another option that lead to sufficiently more miles and time. Than when I complained about her mistake she refused to give me another unit at another place because they in fact did not have the actual space there. So my mover had to reload all the stuff and I was left without anywhere to put my belongings. Of course I was upset I just believe she was totally at fault and should have corrected her mistake. Horrible customer service for management

I called and stated I did not want the climate controlled upgrade. Staff said they documented my refusal to upgrade. I received bill charged at increased rate for upgrade. Multiple attempts to reach manger unsuccessful. No one could find any documentation of my call to refuse upgrade. So after four years of storing I cleared out my storage and would look for another option in the future if needed.
