There's always plenty of trucks available and pickup/drop off is easy. However, truck steering wheel shaking at 40mph+, truck smelled like smoke, and the previous renter did not clean the back of the truck out and left trash in the cab

My rents was changed and sent me further than what I needed to be. Okay I was cool with that. When arriving system was down and couldn't get the truck in a timely manner. When dropping offf the truck I noticed my drop off location was changed to the pick which was 10 miles further than my original reservation. Which cost me an extra 18 in mileage. I was very disappointed.

When the service representative was was completing the paperwork, he asked if I'd like an additional 3 hours for the rental, I said. He failed to tell me I would be charged for an additional day. This is unacceptable and a poor business practice. Please adjust the charges before I dispute this with my credit card company.

The inside of the truck as well as the cargo area were filthy and smelled bad. The driver door wouldn't close completely due to damage to the truck. The truck continuously pulled to the right because it clearly needed an alignment

My son-in-law picked up a U-Haul truck to help us move. You provided him with a dirty truck, he started the truck and it ran away with him. The truck's accelerator stuck and the truck went full speed ahead. He is a policeman and was trained for high speeds. The truck almost went into the highway. He made some circles in the parking lot almost hitting the building with people in it. He could have been killed or if he had not managed to keep it out of the highway someone could have been killed. Or, someone in the parking lot or in the building. When he got the truck stopped, he went inside to tell the clerk he needed another truck, they replied, "That happens some time with our trucks." They did not ask about him or the liability of what could have happened. We should be refunded our money. I will let people know about this dangerous incident. If John had not been a veteran policeman with experience, someone could have been killed. With this horrible and dangeous experience at U-Hall, we will never again use you.

The interior of the van was dirty from the previous customer, but that's okay. Perhaps cleaning it out beforehand would have been ideal. Otherwise, everything else about the service received today was amazing and above any rating I can give. The staff Anthony and Mickey are beyond amazing.

There is NO light bulb or light switch n the unit I m paying for. I am a senior with poor eyesight!! Will pay a visit next week to discuss n hopefully they will be helpful in providing lighting for storage unit Otherwise,a pleasant experience, probably just a oversight.

No lock was in unit, had to buy one after being told on app that there would be a free one. Signed up for unit when I hired the trailer; had to re-enter all the information manually on the app despite already giving it to the agent. Was assigned a different trailer drop location. I selected average instead of above average because we weren't shown how to use the lock and storage after informing staff that it was my first time and it took up some time trying to figure it out after an extremely long and tiring move and unpack. Overall, good service. Merci.

Moved out on the 8th of November and was charged on 11/10/2 022 114,95 ! Have.been trying to get my unauthorized payment back since then ! Not heard from GM regarding this matter. Senior Citizen on fixed income and need my money. Customer Service informed me that they have emailed you about this issue,and I have yet to hear from the GM @ Scenic Hwy location. I needed a 10x10 unit instead of the 5x10 and was told in the morning there were no larger units available. I checked back later that day with a different person at the front desk and he was able to get me a 10x10 unit after I had already moved into the smaller unit and found that my things would not fit. Also, a 10x10 unit should be recommended for a 6x12 trailer and not a 5x10 unit.

Furniture was inside my assigned unit,and we had to remove it to avoid getting caught in the rain. Move was scheduled and we needed to get started.

No lights, climate control above 90 degrees and I ended up with rats in my unit losing my furniture clothes blankets, memories that I can never replace and many other things. I am by no means happy. I had my things in there for over 4 years!

I never received a call back got charged a full month for 2 days and they turn the phones off to customer service an hour before they close never got a receipt upon checking out of unit and manager said that I will get a full refund and never got it very poor service and very disappointed I had the unit well over a year never late on payments..

My selection to #4 was for NOT helpful. Prior to moving out I called to get assistance with a truck rental to move my items. Haley provided phone assistance to me however based on her recommendation for a truck, I had to make multiple trips. This not only caused me additional fees, it cost me time and other costs due to multiple trips. I was unable to get a larger truck at the time because of her lack of knowledge. Employees should be aware of the customers needs, particularly if we, the customer relies on their expertise for assistance.

They kept increasing my rent for my storage every couple of months. And everytime I called trying to speak to the manager, he was never there. I even left messages for him to call back and he never did. I've dealt with many U-haul locations from Florida to Georgia and this location left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

The layout of the parking area is designed in such a way that it prevents people from having the sufficient space to maneuver their vehicles for loading/unloading. The staff was neither rude nor welcoming but somewhere in between. They interact with customers with indifference.

I know this will probably not be acknowledged but some serious training needs to be administered ASAP. Standing behind the counter and saying you don't know about anything you are asked is a terrible business model. I would not hire one person working there.

I started renting here about 2008 so it's been 13 years. Over that time this facility has changed from being clean and well run to being dirty (especially at the loading dock). There is also a stink inside the facility that covers about 1/3 of the downstairs which has been present at least for the past 4-5 months. Something is inside one of the units that indicates decay of some type. The managers don't seem to be concerned. I was also promised security to the facility in the beginning, but that no longer applies. The door is always open and my access card is no longer needed. Access to the loading dock is usually limited to only one vehicle on the steep side because U-Haul trucks are parked too close to allow a second vehicle to back up to the dock. It's a bad situation to need to be there and not be able to pull a vehicle close. The high tent installed to accommodate returning rented trucks is too close to the turning point where you need to circle near the loading dock. If a vehicle is parked in one of the spaces on the corner of the loading dock, it makes it nearly impossible to pull a pickup truck through. Bottom line is this is a poorly run, badly maintained, and improperly designed facility. I would not rent here again. There are several other options in the area which are all better.

Since 1986 I've been a member of U-Haul I have always had Exceptionable help From any U-Haul storage employee. I have been able to save my things in U-Haul storage and they have always been courteous on the phone or in person I really appreciate everything Uhaul storage does for me thank you so much and I will use you in the future.

The staff was not helpful when I needed assistance. I needed to contact the main office for an issue and the staff did not help me at all. 3 of them sat behind the desk and did nothing. I always use u haul, but this made me want to go elsewhere. I will not use this experience to make that call but this was the worst customer service I have had I a while.

The young man who reserved my unit was friendly, professional, and helpful. However, the young lady who checked me in was indifferent, unfriendly and unengaging. She neither smiled nor thanked me for my service. Additionally the office area is much too cluttered and hazardous and the loading dock platform had jagged something or other hanging around the edge in some areas and there were loose rocks in the parking lot near the front, which one of my helpers almost tripped over. These issues lower the rating considerably for my experience and made me reconsider using the more professional, safer, and convenient higher priced Extra Storage Space.

Rodrigo (Mgr) and his entire team was amazing while I had my unit there for almost two years. Rodrigo went above and beyond for me and my family after we lost everything been owned in a apartment fire... I can not thank him enough, you never where or who you're blessing will come from or though. Be kind, be grateful, be compassionate their is someone going through something worse than you are. So, I sincerely thank Rodrigo and his team for a job well done.

We were told that we would receive a prorated reimbursement due to moving out at the end of the month but not getting to the facility to turn in the card before the next draft occurred. Now, a manager is saying that's not how things work but the representative confirmed that he told us this. The location is secure but my gosh, it smells like a dead animal in there. DNR

No place to park. All the workers cars were blocking the loading docks. That made it very very difficult to load a 10-ft truck.. Also no one showed us were our storage room was. They just gave me a piece of paper and highlighted it.

The second unit - which I had booked online - had no lock inside as promised according to the rep. When I went to the office, I realized I needed an additional (3rd) unit. The rep decided it was more important for her to sell me my third unit and THEN charge me for a lock, rather than to inform me that I would get a free lock if I stood there and booked the unit online. She knew it and decided not to give me that option. Even when I mentioned it after the sale. Bad business.

Just about every time i went into this storage place it smelled like a dead rat. i'm not sure what is being done about that but the smell is enough to make you want to puke. the staff are very nice however i didnt appreciate knowing there was a possibility mice were running through my things. i had the wings of a dead cockroach when i removed my things from storage. that did it for me. :(

It smelled like something rotten by the enterence. The u-haul truck I rented was in bad shape. Broken side mirror and attached with a duct tape and that is a security concern. I brought it up to one of the employee. He was a nice guy and took care of it right away.

I moved from New York in 2004. I had 3 storage units. I had a hard time financially but was able to maintaine my storage units. After almost 17 years of storage I decided to clear out the units and go through my stuff and be a blessing to someone. Thank you for securing my belongings all these years.

If there were a star rating below 1 I will rate it as that. This storage facility have no type of loading and unloading space. Every time I went there were no parking, there was always an odor very horrible, it smelled like death. The employees there seem to be all young and playful (speaking only on the young ladies). I will never deal with U-Haul storage again...

Called in to get 10x15 - said they had one. Get there and they only have 2 10x10s so I rent both. Get up to the units and they're both 5x10s - this was a Monumental waste of time!

The only thing was, some guys called me to ask, if I had two storage units. I said yes but when I came back to the storage, they had cut off my lock, and nothing was on my unit 1605. Thank goodness nothing was missing. But that was a big time error!!!! They removed my lock and did not replace it. I told them that I had the two units? Big Mistake!!!!

Georgia location was great but when I picked up my U-Haul truck and Virginia it was horrible they did not charge for the hitch they put the wrong name on my account thenI had to come out of more money the experience was the worst I've ever imagined I did not like the fact that I had to pick up the U-Haul in one spot and go all the way across town to pick up the hitch I hope no one never have to experience the Heartbreak that the stress level that I experienced during my move.

The morning staff ladies and gentleman were pleasant and eager to help. The afternoon crew seemed bothered and short tempered.
