The staff was great.
Mary RI called to this location. I told him I'm late I'm gonna pay for another day and he say no. You have to bring it right now now or I'm calling police to report it is stolen The guy that when he worked there, his name, Dan he have very bad bad attitude
ADNAN AManagement was very arrogant,not helpful and very unprofessional I may give another U Hual a chance but never again at the Michoud facility. Poor choice of leadership for a professional company like U-Hual.

He had VERY POOR costumer service and spoke as if he wanted a confrontation but I didn't give him any of my blessed energy. He needs retraining BAD & SOON

Absolutely no experience renting and the front desk rep did not help or was courteous regarding explanation of rental. Honestly should of just done online instead of dealing with someone who dislikes dealing with in person customer

My NMr.Donald and staff were great.
Larry RAllow customers to review photos of the equipment if there is ever a dispute of damage to equipment. Rather than tell them that they are responsible for equipment they took possession when you knowingly did not do the walk around of the equipment with the customer and did the hook up before their arrival.

keith dI didn't rent anything from Uhaul, but they keep sending me email as though I did. I tried to respond that they have the wrong email address for their customer (who's last name is similar to mine,) but there is no way to reach them because all their automated emails are sent from an address that doesn't accept replies. If you rent from this U-Haul location, double check that they've got your email address correct!
Jamel BI called Donald regarding renting a one way 26' truck to McComb, MS. Donald was busy and told me that he would call me back. Donald never called me back. I ended up having to do the footwork myself and renting the truck from the Tulane facility.
JULETA J | Expérience généraleI recently decided to remove my belongings from the Michoud facility. I spoke with a worker on Saturday 10/14/23 and told him I was moving my belongings out . He said you pay for the month at the end of the month and not the beginning. I was finalizing my move out. I came th get my last thing s on Sunday and took the lock on Sunday. Monday I spoke sleigh an employee and confirmed I was finished moving out and the unit was clean and not locked. I was suppose to get a call from the manager . Tuesday morning I received a call that I was 3 days late and he would talk to the manager. Tuesday evening a received a text with a receipt of payment that I did not authorize. I am very upset I never spoke with the manager but a payment was taken without my permission. Is that how U Haul does business. I would like a call from someone explaining.
Derek D | Expérience généraleThe Representative at the Michoud Blvd location kept giving me a hard time. I called the 800# and reserved a truck for 24 hours. I followed up with a call to confirm my reservation 2/3 days before my pickup at the Michoud Blvd location and the gentleman who answered the phone confirmed my reservations but said I could only keep the truck for 8 hours. I explained I reserved it for 24 hrs and he said I couldn't keep it for 24 hrs (he tried to explain why I couldn't but I didn't understand) i asked him why would they give me 24 hours, he told me they don't get to make decisions at his store. I told him okay and kept my reservation. I called the 800# again and the Rep confirmed that I could rent from that location 24 hrs and she put it back to 24 hours. The morning of my rental I called the 800# that morning and spoke with Kim she confirmed my reservation and that it was for 24hrs. Later that day before my pickup I received a called from UHaul the gentleman said he was calling to confirm my reservation and that I would have to return the truck by 7 am (this was the same person who told me the first time that I could only keep it for 8 hrs) I asked him why and this time he said that it was reserved for another person at 7am. I asked him why would they reserve a truck for 24 hours if it's scheduled for someone else. He said they scheduled but they don't know what's going on with his store. I hung up with him and called the 800# and got Kim again. Told her this guy is telling me I can't reserve the truck for 24 hours because it was reserved for someone at 7 am. She said it was not and told me to keep it for the 24 hours. I wasn't confident in what she was saying because at this point I don't know what's going on. She told me to hold on she was calling him and came back to me and said I have the truck for 24 hours. It was a stressful time for me trying to move and then having to keep calling U-Haul to make sure I could get what I needed was unacceptable.

Cristhian MUpon pickup the computers went down delaying our schedule. When returning the truck, the facility was opened but there were no employees there for at least 20 minutes. This location will always be a last resort.

Ashley MEverything was fine but the gas the paperwork said that it had three quarters of tank of gas and it only had a half a tank of gas in the truck I had to put it back on three quarters of a tank when I bought it back so I feel I was ripped off out of an extra $20 of gas other than that everything was fine

Perry aconsidering i brought back the trailer i rented for a full day use after only 1 hour because i could not use it (ramp was not wide enough) and was told i would be getting a refund when the manager returned to the office, yet didn't get one. i would maybe not lie to potential future customers, to which i, and everyone i know, will not be.

We did not do a walk thru so I took their word that it was, in fact, climate controlled. In the next few days, I loaded up two trailers only to find out my unit was NOT climate controlled when I opened it. Also, I've yet to talk to Alvin, the store manager, to cancel this contract. I have called several times with voicemails. No call backs have been returned.
