This applies to all locations. You need to offer a spare tire rental option for trailers. If you are traveling in a rural area, the wait time for assistance might be excessive (especially on weekends) . Also in less than favorable urban locations, you would become a target for theft. You need to increase tire size on trailers. Trying to drive 55 MPH on an interstate, especially at night or in bad weather, is extremely dangerous. Traffic rapidly approaches you from behind and may night be able to either brake fast enough (semis) and or change lanes to go around if other vehicles are in that lane. If you want small tires, save those for local moves. Trailers need to safely move at highway speeds to prevent collision from behind.

Very easy to drop off. Tried to change drop off location and it was impossible to do by website or by contacting location. Managed to get it to original drop off location but would have been so much easier for me to change it.

I had an weather situation arise and I had to rent a pull behind trailer to transport some product to a vendor event. We had to take the trailer home and pressure wash it before we could load it due to all the green mold type substance from sitting under the tree lines at the U-Haul facility. If I could make a suggestion that there be a couple of these pull behind enclosed trailers in various sizes, be cleaned and in a different area for customers to use. I understand spacing may be a problem just having a few nicely cleaned and ready would be great. There were some up front but we were taken to the back to get one. Staff was friendly and considerate. Staff had lots of patients with customer they were assisting ahead of me. Drop off was quick and easy. Facility was clean and organized. We will be reserving with this particular facility in the future when we need a U-Haul rental

I did an online order which sent me to this. No complaints about the location, but I asked about the drop off to a customer service representative on the phone. I was told a certain drop off and I asked about going over the mileage due to driving to Slocomb and then back to Dothan. The Slocomb dealership would have been closer. I was assured that I would be okay with mileage. Today my bank account was charged for over mileage. This is not how to operate a. Business ess. Very unhappy with Uhaul.

Truck was received with 1/4 gas tank. I did not not plan to refuel it before picking up the truck, I rather wanted to pay for the fuel up, but after seeing the contract and that I would need to pay 30 USD extra, I did not have choice but to get to a gas station and fill it back to the minimum required 1/4 level.

One of the lower amber running lights was not working during hook-up check out; otherwise trailer was clean and satisfactory; great customer service at this location. I took advantage of opting for U-haul's alternate drop-off (further away and different time zone than prior rental drop-off) a reduced fee and told verbally that I would have the use of the trailer 3-days vice 2, but this additional day was never updated in the contract, which was disappointing.

Do NOT store anything here in the units that are not climate controlled fue to the humidity. Your belongings will be covered in mold and mildew.

There was not an appliance dolly available as I had reserved. I do not fault the location, but the UHaul system for not tracking such items with regard to electronic reservations. The staff at the location were very helpful and pleasant in spite of the fowl up. Get your stuff together UHaul.

It would be nice to have been told before I rented storage that the second level unit I rented was only accessible via 16 stairs. Waiting until I was signing papers felt like a rip off. Since I'm blind and need to arrange rides I wasn't able to find a different storage unit for less. Thankfully the first month is free. I plan on doing everything I can to have the unit emptied out ASAP as I had not budgeted for the major price increase for a main floor unit. Again, it felt like a case of bait and switch. No where on the website did it mention the second level was only accessible via stairs, had it said so I would have made arrangements to rent with a different company.

The manager I believe her name is Kayla was absolutely awesome very sweet and very professional!!! She had a gentleman working with her he was very nice as well! They were slammed and they both was working very hard trying to accommodate everyone in a timely manner! I appreciate the excellent customer service they offered!

Continuously calling for payment but failed to properly move me out as well as numerous occasions they would place a lock on your storage even if you made a payment and it was a mistake on their end, they also take their time helping … not everyone most were very nice and polite .

After only a week I came back to the unit to find out that some of the furniture got wet . Not sure of leak or condensation. There were roachs in the unit . Had to by home defense spray to spray items in storage and all the surfaces.

Entrance was not secured a bunch, and didn't work at all one day. No elevator, stairs only. Door too my storage damaged. Trash furniture around the whole time. Bathroom smell like smoke half the time. Bad neighborhood

I reserved a U-Haul on 10-2-2021. The U-Haul wasn't available for me to pickup until the next day. The U-Haul facility that I was told to pickup from was closed and had to go to another one to pickup a vehicle. Then once I returned from moving my household goods the storage that was given to me wasn't available to store my furniture and had to downgrade to smaller unit. Also once I was returning the U-Haul the destination was wrong for the drop-off and was advised to take across town to another location which added miles. In my opinion it was alot of wasted time that wasn't necessary and I definitely wouldn't recommend this to any friends or relatives.

I reserved a 5x8x9 unit online for $65 a month. When I arrived to move in after driving over 1000 miles I was informed they do not have units that size at that location. I could choose between a 5x5 (which was too small) or a 7x11 which was $30 a month more. Also, the unit is the cargo portion of a retired uhaul truck, which I wouldn't mind except it is at least 12 inches off the ground with no loading ramp so everything had to be lifted up in to the unit. If I had known any of this before I got there I wouldn't have used this facility.

We had our stuff in storage for a long time. Over the years, the U-Haul team was alway helpful and engaged. We are moving across the country so we don't need our storage unit any longer. We did buy moving materials and a bike carrier. The staff helped us with our purchases. We will miss this U-Haul. It's a great business. The current crew is fantastic. Thanks for your help with everything.

I was going through a really hard time and just her positive attitude and how she was able to make me forget what I was going through was phenomenal!!! There are roaches everywhere in the storage units, my air controlled storage room has a window with broken glass and a beam running right across it and I had to pay the full amount for half the space I got. The door is very feeble so it can be easily broken but gets stuck when I try to open it. Only leaving my stuff in here because all other places are booked and I have no other choice.

Called several times to get in touch with them and each time I called I stayed on hold 30 to 40 minutes every time. Called in July when I moved out my storage to cancel so I continued to get letters about property lien finally I talked with someone on August 23, to cancel the storage because the person that I talked to didn't cancel it like she said. Terrible service

I was assigned a unit on the second floor. There is no elevator, so I had to carry every item up a flight of stairs, and when I move out, my things will be carried down the flight of stairs. The trolleys are useless if the customer has to unpack them to get their belongings upstairs to their unit. My advice would be to install an elevator.

It's pricey for a 10 x 10 metal shed. I was on a list for a better climate control. I paid the high price monthly bill and 2 days later the other storage called and told me they had my unit ready. I called u haul to see if they could prorate and give me a refund on the rest. They said no. I lost that money. Everyone I have talked to said they would prorate ... and every time you go there you have to wait to pay your bill. Cause they are under staffed all workers are outside helping with trucks while you standing inside waiting .. you need someone to stay inside to help customers at all time

All my previous experiences with all U-Haul locations have been excellent. This particular experience was not. Tabitha was exceptionally difficult to work with. Our family had some hiccups during our move and she was all but accommodating. However, the ending result worked out for us and we did get what we needed. I would highly recommend using U-Haul for all your storage and moving needs. I would just recommend choosing a different location to avoid any inconveniences.
