Booked online and was told less than an hour before pickup that I needed to go to a different location. Location ended up causing me 25 additional miles outside of where I was going. Location was not willing to work with me on any pricing changes due to having to drive so much further and the individual I was working with told me no one was available to for me to speak with and she was unwilling to work with me on anything. When I did ask for a manager, I was told she works Tuesday - Saturday but she was not able to talk to me at the time. Then asked for a number to call and was told to just call the general line. I understand there is only so much that can be done if something is not available but, if booking online is not correct staff should be able to work with customers on pricing when we have to go so far out of the way that was planned ahead of time.

The vehicle ran great but the left signal was out, and this could be dangerous when driving a large vehicle, exchanging lanes in turning. Maybe suggesting doing a pre inspection before releasing vehicle.

Russell EarlyWhen I got to the location at 7:00 AM, the lights were still off, and the door was locked until I went up and knocked. (I was on a tight timeline) When I did get in, the internet was down, and the team members were scrambling to use a tablet. They did do a great job of overcoming the internet being down. (they used their own hot spot to power the tablet) The truck was great, and checkout was quick and easy. It was a slow start but a good ending.

Julie DavisOn 09/29/2023 I called to extend my reservation. They weren't able to and I totally understand. I received a call back,I missed a few minutes later. I called back and Valerie the manager was rude,very rude telling me she was gonna charge me $50 per the reservations she had for the truck. I told her ,I had just told her I would be returning the truck not STEALING it. It was due back at 2:15. I told her she was rude and I was upset about it. No apology or anything! Got done early with truck and returned it. Christina at store was wonderful. She did my original reservation and my end of of reservation. She was very professional and nice. I have reserved many trucks over the years at this place. Bob who retired was so great! And Christina wonderful too. This manager Valerie was the worse person I've ever dealt with and I'm 66 years old.
DIANE CLAPPERThis location was great. The problem was being able to drop off the trailer at the location that I was told. It wasn't open at 2:00 on a Monday, even though it said it was online. I went to 3 other Uhaul locations, none of which would take the trailer. Frustrating to say the least..

DAVID MIRIERICan you say nightmare from Hell, cause that was what this move was. From losing the keys to the truck, missing my extension on truck leasing to having a hernia during the move . What was supposed to be a 2 day move became a week of stressed out frustrations but, Valerie was more than accommodating, . She helped me with extending my rental to breaking the stress with her positive attitude and always wearing a smiled. Her and her staff ROCK. I highly recommend going to her store location on 29th for ALL of your moving /rental needs , they will definitely take care of you there. Just wanna say again Thank you Valerie ☺️

I accidentally left my storage lock keys behind when I moved in and the manager texted me to tell me she had them and would keep them behind the desk until I could come pick them up. That's just one of the many ways in which the team helped me. I loved this location and the available storage facilities but the employee there is really what makes it a great place!

Somehow my reservation for a first floor locker was lost, even though i had reservation numbers and everything booked a while back with my truck and trailer. In fact the whole first floor was booked up. Instead i had to settle for a smaller locker on the second floor, with no elevator, and was not able to get my bigger furniture items into storage and have to find another place that I can keep them.

So she patiently did it all again. She had 2 trucks that were going out soon, she warmed them up for the people who rented them. (It was VERY cold). She seems to go way above and beyond for her customers. I truly hope Uhaul realizes the asset they have in this manager.

The storage unit access was through a door smaller than the average front door of a house. This could be expected if it was a smaller unit, but a larger unit would by default have a large garage style entrance. There should be a disclaimer noting this on the website, because we could not fit our couches or other large furniture. Due to the door issue, we had to find another storage facility last minute and it was a terrible inconvenience.

On top of that there was a rat trap in my unit. Also it is a 2 story storage building with no elevators to cart heavy items to the top floor.

Less than a week to be back to OKC after almost 3 yrs in illinois! Everything that could go wrong in a 13hr drive with a 87 lb dog, went WRONG!! I was exhausted stressed and running late. When I contacted them to let them know I was working fast as possible to unload and get it in , they nicely interrupted my explanation and gave me a 24hr extension with no late fee then told me I had free storage for a month since I was coming from out of state I could not believe after all my worrying that I could not only could just stop and rest awhile before unloadin but I would have a much more convenient and safe place to store my things while I figured out my next step in relocating. And the friendly people and service proved a constant the entire 3 months that I rented the unit... Absolutely top notch service All around!!
