Had a few glitches with using website but once I downloaded the app the process was seamless. The lady working the counter went above and beyond yo assure that I was comfortable and understood how to access the unit and facility. Excellent customer service all around.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. I had reserved a truck for a move Saturday early morning and went to go pick my reservation. To find out after hours of waiting and being hung up on by customer service. 1:20 AM till 3:30am to find out I has no truck for me at the location. I even went there to confirm with someone at the site to say that rental would be ready. I waited till they open to turn out m truck was there the whole time and customer service didn't know what they was talking about. Yet everyone at the company dropped the ball. I lost mover help and valuable time. Due March Madness was happening all roads were blocked off due to the games, I had to strategic make moves at exactly Hour and time due to the window of opportunity to move was available. I received a truck that morning to find out my equipment rentals wasn't even ready. the past couple days was hell for me due to U-Haul dropped the ball with All- Around service. I didn't get no compensation of any sort due to the major screw up and time I lost and manpower to do the move!

Due to the bad design of your online scheduling software, I reserved a truck but it was not available to me when I went for pickup. I got redirected to a different location which also told me for 20 mins that a truck was not available until they finally figured out my reservation. Truck did not operate as it should and ABS light came on twice. I called Road side assistance and was told to ignore it but the truck has mechanical problems and shouldn't be on the road. Also found it frustrating that I couldn't find a single gas station around that had enough room for me to put gas in a 26 ft truck and the fee charged for uHaul to put gas in it is crazy.

I frequently rent the cargo vans and I have noticed that lately when we pick up the van the fuel is less than half tank. This week the fuel was 1/8 of tank. The last thing anyone wants to do when they pick up a rental is having to go to the gas station to make sure there is enough gas before they can go on with the day's plans. No one wants to make two trips to the gas station before returning the van. So, please have the rentals ready to go with fuel.

I attempted to use the contactless pick up option and it took way too long and had minimal (if any) customer support. I went to the desk instead and the woman there was incredibly helpful, I was out of there within 5 minutes after that

Well my rental contract was changed last minute. I reserved a pickup truck. Received a phone call night before that the vehicle was want returned so I had to use a cargo van instead. I was advised I would be receiving $50 credit to my bank account for the inconveniences caused by this. As of yet I have not received the $50 credit. Other then that people there were very helpful.

I was asked by U-Haul three days before my reservation to tow a 4x8 trailer behind my rental truck for free. In addition to my original truck reservation I also rented a Utility Dolly to help with my packing. However, when I picked up the truck in the morning location staff stated they did not have any dollies available, but when I returned later that evening to get the trailer hitched to the truck they would provide the dolly. Additionally, I was not provided with complementary furniture pads or packing accessories as my reservation originally indicated. Further, when I returned at 6:15pm (15minutes early for my scheduled trailer pickup) I was told by the customer service agents that I was all set and that someone would be outside to hitch the trailer. Upon returning to the vehicle, I sat there waiting for 60 minutes (15-minutes after the location closed) and still not a single employee even exited the building let alone came over to hitch a trailer. After 1 full hour (2 if you include the drives to and from the location) of having my time wasted I left trailer-less and now have to make another moving reservation as I was not able to complete the relocation in one trip due to this incredibly frustrating error on the part of this U-Haul location and its employees. If you are attempting to rent from this location, I strongly encourage you to seek other locations/providers for your moving needs.

The vehicle was very clean, but my main concern was the trucks drivers side mirror. It was very loose, making it very difficult to view your left side. I had to constantly roll down the window to adjust the mirror while in motion to change lanes. It's also time for power windows the rolling handles needs to go...

We went there because the original truck we rented in Buffalo broke down. The ladies were fast and helpful in getting us a new truck. The guy, Danny, who brought us the truck was amazing! He helped us transfer our load to the new truck very quickly. He was the best employee there! The repair service that UHaul sent when the truck broke was amazing and fast too!

I can't seem to rent from here without a hitch every three out of four times, but it is the closest when I'm in a hurry. Although the van was in good working order, I was bothered that it was filthy on the outside, including the windows. I shouldn't have to use some of my rental time cleaning the vehicle when there's staff on site that are supposed to be doing just that. It seems COVID has killed pride in one's work, too.

I was unhappy the staff was over worked or just unwelcoming. The van was dirty and wet. It smell nasty with slight smell of deodorizer. The seat had cat hair on them and I have an allergic so I hd to have my husband clean them before I use it. When I tried to return the equipment the first there was no staff to be found. The last I dropped it in the return lane and the employee working the sealing told me that I could just leave it because she doesn't where he ( the return employee) is and it could be a minute. I dnt even know why my bill was. I will never use this location again

We have had problems with staff, cleanliness, and elevators not working since we rented our unit. Now the elevators are finally working after months of them being down, but the bay doors are still down, so it's difficult to move things in and out.

Todd was no help to me. I had a party on 10/8/23 with 300 guests. I have this unit only to store my party supplies. I went to pick up the supplies and due to power outage I couldn't access any of my items. The people at the front counter said they could override it but it was too annoying so they refused. I plan this party for months it costs $15,000. I told todd I would like some sort of compensation for this situation. At least 6 months to cover the tables and chairs I had to purchase duplicates of because I couldn't access my stuff. He told me I would have to contact corporate lawyers because I was going to pursue with my lawyer. I asked him several times for the contact information of corporate lawyers in Arizona. He avoided the question and eventually stopped replying to me. I couldn't be more frustrated with this situation. Just total incompetence all the way around.

Acccess is too difficult. One elevator doesn't work. Then the only one that works I'm Waiting for a person to operate an elevator for me. Which is rediculous. I don't want to have to interact with anyone

Workers was very helpful, and polite. The only issue is i forced myself to take a more expensive storage on the first floor, because the elevator was not working, Overall i really appreciate the help of the two workers.

Overall my temporary need for a unit was fulfilled. However, between broken elevators and port bays it wasn't extremely convenient. Someone threw a piece of plaster board over my unit which dropped all over my things, windows were sometimes left open allowing a ton of spiders and bugs to get in and defeating the purpose of it being temperature controlled. There was also someone living in a unit on my floor.

This facility was better than what we moved to!!! Uhaul invested millions to upgrade a location in Pittsfield Mass and the garage doors are too small to allow trucks to park in the bays?????? Who the heck designed that? You force people to unload outside because they installed the wrong garage doors?????

Customer service is horrible. Your company never had my correct address even though I called numerous times to have it fixed..your assistant manager Angela is extremely rude, condescending and an all around C#$nt..doesn't listen to customers .interrupts customers I requested a recording of a call on October 3rd 2023, while on the phone with jalesa, the call started at 9:18am and ended at 9:46 am. I AM DEMANDING A COPY OF THE RECORDED CALL. your company sent my billing statement to my emergency contact. NOT TO ME!!!! Both my husband and I read through the entire rental agreement and NO WHERE IN SAID RENTAL AGREEMENT DOES IT INDICATE THAT ANY BILLING INFORMATION WOULD BE SENT TO ANY THIRD PARTY OR THE EMERGENCY CONTACT THIS IS CLEARLY A VIOLATION OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!! I EXPECT A RESPONSE AND COMPENSATION FOR YOUR BREACH OF MY PRIVACY AND A BREACH OF THE PRIVACY CLAUSE IN YOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT THAT WAS SIGNED IN GOOD FAITH....ON MY PART....IF I AM NOT COMPENSATED FOR YOIR BREACH OF YOIR OWN OR THE COMPANIES RENTAL AGREEMENT...I WILL BE FORCED TO SEEK LEGAL ACTION...... My husband chris and myself WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. ESPECIALLY NOT THE ALBANY LOCATION...All your staff at the Albany location are rude, condescending, have NASTY ATTITUDES AND ARE NOT AWARE OF THE TERMS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT The bathroom is filthy, never has toilet paper or paper towels. The loading and unloading docs, except for 1 are always out of order as well as the continuous inconvenience of the Elevator not working or being help up by people blocking the elevator doors so no one else can use it Filthy facility all around.. You have many, many improvements that need to be done Starting with the management and right down to the customer service representatives on the floor. They act like it's an inconvenience for them to be well versed about basic knowledge of how the ins and outs of how to perform their jobs without having a NASTY attitude towards customers and basic job knowledge..such as the start of getting new customers and existing customers the service they deserve.. I got this unit when I rented a truck and was supposed to receive a free month which I did not then when I tried to move out June 1st the elevator was broken and I was told to take the stairs to remove my things which was way to big to make it down the stairs because I was on the 3rd floor. After walking two ac units down the stairs with my back condition I went back to the desk and a note was put in my account for them to call me when it was back up and running and for the manager to call me to speak bout payments since I was attempting to close my unit and was unable I did not get any calls messages or anything til the end of July and it was a request for 300 dollars I then called to speak with a manager and never got in touch with one . I paid the amount requested and went to remove my items again and came to the same problem elevator down and I had to request two different times for someone to put me in the freight elevator to get my things after standing there for 20 mins the staff is unpleasant and very unprofessional and I will never rent from this location ever again and I will never suggest anyone to rent from you. I definitely suggest a revamp of your staff . They running this location into the ground

I really don't like writing bad reviews. But when I feel one is absolutely necessary, I'm going to write it. Through no choice of my own (my originally planned move to Pennsylvania, fell through at the last minute). I was forced to stay local because I just moved out of my home and had nowhere else to go. So I had to quickly last minute rent something else temporary until I can figure this mess out. When I had purchased my storage locker the woman at the front desk that assisted me at (I don't remember her name) acted as if she was just too busy to help anybody. She seemed very stressed and all she kept talking about was how bad she wanted to go home. She just couldn't wait for 7 o'clock to roll around. I can't tell you how many times I heard that in the 20 minutes I stood in line customers don't want to hear employees say things like that over and over and over again not to mention that as if you have no time for the customers. This was my first experience ever renting a storage unit and it was absolutely horrible from the start. The employee that help me fef me inaccurate information. I later found out (the Next day) by the manager what real deal was. So after I purchased the unit, I proceeded to back my truck to the bay and unload much of the entire contents of my home. I was told I had until 10 o'clock to get the truck unloaded and over to be checked in clearly that wasn't the case. About 6:15, I received a phone call from regional asking me where I was… I told her that I was at the Albany location unloading my truck so we can be checked in before 10 o'clock. She told me that the check-in closed at 7 PM and then I need to be done before then she's like I will just give you an extra day… I said sure! I'll just pay for an extra day! Only to find out about this time that the elevator single elevator broke down with people in it! I was then told by the employee who originally sold me the unit that the elevator broke down, they were here to fix it and then I needed to pack all my stuff back up in the truck and come back tomorrow. Just like that rude and abrasive. I quietly packed up the truck again. And I went on my way, only to return the next day. So at least today I knew that the truck had to be at check in before 7 o'clock. So once I got there, I backed up to the bay, proceeded to unload my truck. I unloaded the truck and delivered it to check in at about 6:50pm. I was greeted by the manager there, and she told me that they would be checking it in the morning. (that would be 10/5.) I proceeded to walk over to the bay where the contents of my truck were unloaded. I proceeded to get things in order to bring them up to the fifth floor on carts when the nice lady employee who sold me the unit came up to me and said in a very condescending manner what are you doing? We're closing we're closed. Our elevator is broken. At this point, I'll freak out I lost my composure. I asked why I hadn't I been told????? Why wasn't there a sign on the door? Why wasn't there a sign at the elevator nobody knew the elevator is broken not a single customer, and there were many tonight that came through very very disgruntled customers. I was so very upset. I knew the manager was still in the building and I told this lady to send the manager over to me because I wanted her to switch to switch me to a unit downstairs so I could lock my things up for the evening. She said the computers are down and we're closed anyway I said what happened to the 10 o'clock thing you told me about yesterday? Both last night and now tonight, you're closing here at 7 o'clock? And I'm the one who has to pay an extra day for the truck? Now I am inconvenienced so I have to come back a third day to put this stuff away in my locker on the fifth floor??? The manager never even came over. I waited until 8 o'clock. I went over to the entrance on the backside where the front desk is it was completely dark. Nobody was there. They all went home just leaving me and my things there with no way to lock them up and now I have to go there first thing in the morning to put them away when I have plenty other things, I could be doing like finding a home, and a place to live, taking care of a job and a family. This facility in Albany completely consumed me for the last three days and and I am extremely upset and unhappy with the service I received from this facility, both the manager and this woman … after all, the manager, is the person that left me there, my things out in the open, unlocked, and just went home when there could've been a resolution to this this evening, and I would not have had to go back tomorrow and rearrange my schedule to take care of this. They could've helped an upset customer out this evening and chose not to. They went home. Any company that treats customers in this manner should not be in business. After all… Aren't happy, satisfied customers, the lifeblood of any business?

Literally the worst experience I've ever had at a storage facility. Staff is never around and will not bother to assess any problem you have. The elevator was broken during the ENTIRE duration of my rental, so literally 3+ months. I couldn't access my unit for months at a time because of this, and was paying for a unit I couldn't even get into. The incompetency of this place is out of control I would rate it 0 stars if possible. Would never recommend to anyone, and have encouraged many people to not go here.

My storage unit and my belongings were filled with spiders, spider eggs and dust. It appeared that the unit was exposed to the elements as well because of water damage to some of my items. I've used this Uhaul location many times before and this is a first which is why I rate it average.

This facility is always spotless clean, even down to it's restrooms. Zachary the manage, is always helpful and cordial and time efficient, and reliable. His kindness is represented in each of the employees. I rented my unit #3037 for 7 years, and love it, with no regrets, casualties, or bad feeling, due to there impeccable managerial skills, and great service.

Worst U Haul ever! Attendants always have a rude atttude like they cannot be bothered to do their jobs. Will have you sitting on the phone for hours before they decide to answer and when they do it's always in a nasty tone. The layout is more confusing than any other Uhaul I went to and they do NOT give good directions on where to find your unit. Tried to charge me another month of service when my storage unit had already been cleared out and I already handed over the keys. 0/10 experience.

I would not recommend you all to anyone the auction my items off without any notification or authorization I am currently in the process of filing a small claims lawsuit against them for the value of my items that was discarded many of the items was a personal value from my mother that recently passed away on January 8th 2023. Their service and communication within their agency was very poor and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and suggest that Todd be fired for discarding discarding people's personal belongings and their need of distress.

My experience was awful first I went in for a truck and storage unit gave the lady my info then she proceeded check my info in the computer using her hone app however you could tell she was changing out of the app to view something on social media and didn't want to be there. After she gave me the truck I used the app to check the truck for damages but the app didn't work and the back door on the rental truck was stuck in the u position so I had to get a rep to assist after that I left and tried calling to find out about the storage container where I was told I had to come back and get a card and everything else after we over 40 minutes on hold So I spoke with a the assistant manager about my experience

The only negative part of this experience is that my original reservation was booked incorrectly which resulted in a cancellation. I was just glad there was still a unit available to us.. Calling this facility is difficult. Each time I would call I would be put on hold for more than an hour until it will eventually give up. There were other times when I would call and put right through to, I believe, a person not on site, but perhaps a call center which was helpful.

I rented a storage a storage. I got there. The locker was locked and had no key (they also sent the wrong uhaul storage unit). After many calls to customer support the the site directly. I have still not received a refund for the service I did not receive a refund but kept getting my account charged. Also the location I was able to get it into had homeless people stealing something from a closet

I have rented for several years storage units 3301, 3311, and 7124 in Albany, NY. I have checked out of 3301 and 7124. I still have 3311. I have last paid January's rent for 3311. I have been charged a garbage removal fee when I moved out of 3301 and 7124. I have been messed with by the employees in 139 Broadway, Albany, NY. Storage. They won't take partial payments of monthly storage. I offered to pay February and 100 garbage fee. I should not have to pay the garbage fee. Free garbage removal should be. I have paid a fortune so far. The one worker would not let me go back into the ground floor to get the garage that day so I left. When I went to pay February and the 100 garbage fee I showed the receipt that I paid January rent. I don't have much money because of the COVID in the area. From: Alene Dingman

We had a horrible experience We definitely neglected our payment but when it came down to finally get our belongings there were a few people that helped us out Corporate was great Jaime M was a huge help in Albany Angelina in the front of the Albany store was fantastic. This young lady should be a manager. She did not stop moving the entire nine hours we were there Broken garage doors and elevator problems put customers and employees in a difficult environment Not fair to staff or customers Also we were told to leave our belongings in the hallway as there was not enough staff to help us get back to our unit due to malfunctioning elevators. The woman at the counter, her name started with a C told us come back tomorrow. Everything will be safe. When we arrived and we were about to be brought up to our unit I noticed some of my items were already removed. So the miscommunication between employees is sad. I know that your business is very busy and you deal with multiple diversities. But for a company that is as large as yours , maybe some changes need to be made. Thank you for finally allowing me to get my belongings back. And possibly hire managers whom are competent and don't blame their staff for their inability to actually run a business that was placed in their hand. Merci

Absolutely horrible customer service and poor communication on managements behalf. This facility is not well looked after and I had to reach out to corporate because of the lack of professionalism. I would not at all recommend this location. Apparently, I am not the only client that had a horrible experience at the Broadway UHaul. Back in August they said they sold off my unit, but then in October I got a call saying they didn't and I had to pay $359 ($789) and take it the same day, I had already throw the keys and swipe out so the made me get a locksmith I had to pay another $135 out of pocket to me this was some bull shyt I call and call you guys left messages was told they were going to email the manger but nothing like that happened someone need to looking in to things like this I will never use this storage place again or tell my friends to you guys do bad business and cheat your customers

Definitely below average. The staff is very unprofessional. When I got to the U-Haul to pick up my rental and storage unit there were several things that went wrong. They didn't have the size rental truck that I had reserved weeks in advance nor did they have the size storage unit I had reserved. They also ended up double charging me for my truck rental and I had to make several calls before a refund was processed. Definitely would not recommend

There was construction work going on with loud noise and debris in the air. We were there for over 1 1/2 hours. Our representative was helpful but easily distracted. None of the other 6 employees were doing anything to help. One employee was disrespectful to me by telling me I shouldn't be getting the 1 month free storage unit offer despite not managing my rentals. She just sat there and was making rude comments. We then were given a uhaul that was not accessible. It was one of the most unpleasant and unprofessional experiences I've ever had.

I asked for an 8 by 16 and completed the paperwork, purchased the required lock, which no other storage facilities require, and attempted to access the Unit. When I got to the 5th floor, there was a lock on it. I had to go all the way back downstairs, then outside back to the counter. There were at least 4 staff available who could have told me the unit was locked, or better yet, actually unlocked for me once it was reserved. When I came back to put my items in storage, I accessed the facility but then was denied elevator access. I had rented storage at this facility in the past and had elevator access problems EVERY time I was in the building. It's aggravating, and unnecessary. Nobody offers to fix it, they just have a staff person get on and use their card to get you to your floor. The office was not busy when I was there. My unit could have been unlocked for me once I completed my reservation. I had back surgery a few weeks ago and it is difficult to walk long distances. I don't know why I had to go back and forth up and down 5 floors so I could tell the front desk there was a lock on the unit. They already knew. Waste of time and unnecessarily difficult.

I have been complaining about the hallway lights for about a year for unit 6176 not working. I've been told repeatedly they will be fixed. Rent increased according to the letter to upgrade electrical abs lighting but still the hall lights do not work. While I could easily answer yes to your questions above, I simply can't give U-Haul of Albany more than 2 Stars. Accessing my unit (located on the 2nd floor) was incredibly frustrating because the elevator/key card/punch code system wouldn't work and every time I had the issue staff said "yeah, the second floor doesn't work." While the staff was helpful in solving the issue each time, it's clear U-Haul of Albany isn't investing in upkeep of their facility. U-Haul of Albany needs to: 1) fix its elevator service, or 2) fix the key card system.

We signed up online and paid for a unit in your Erie St facility. We received an email with the access codes (but no instructions on how to use them) and were told that our unit was unlocked and ready for us. When we arrived, we had trouble figuring out how to get in due to poor instructions and were only successful after another customer helped us. When we got to the unit, it was locked,. Repeated calls to customer service wen unanswered. The cell of the GM went to a voice mail and was never answered. The intercom was never answered and there was no one on site to help. We drove to the Broadway Office where Megan was very helpful, switched our rental to that building, and then showed us how to work the security system. A process that should have been easy took two hours in total.

I had some issues on my move in day. I was assured on Saturday 5/22 that the customer elevators would be in order by Sunday 5/23 which was the day I was moving into my unit with a full apartment of items. On Sunday when I arrived with my full UHaul I also rented there was no working elevator. I asked an employee inside who said "someone was working on it right now." I went back and waited for awhile by the elevators but no one was currently working on it. I finally went back inside and asked that someone operate a freight elevator because I needed to load my things into the unit that day. Finally someone came but it was a pretty big issue and many other customers were trying to move in and out of units so it was difficult to use the elevator and the employee had a hard time keeping up with the various floors people had to go to.

I requested a 4x8 without the pole inside I was giving unit 3401 on the third floor I had help with me and I was on a time schedule working with them only to find out we arrived at the unit it had a pole on the inside so I was forced because of time and help to try to make my things fit and there were other items I couldn't put in I contacted the customer service I even went into the unit the next day to talk to someone and they said they couldn't handle it they take notes and somebody will get back with me I think I deserve a decrease in my bill because I was forced to take a unit that I specifically said that I did not need

I am very displeased with uhaul as I got the storage unit and a truck. I was told that the lock would be removed off the unit so I could load my things and much to my suprise when I got to the storage unit after uhaul closed but storage was still open my unit still had a store lock on it which caused me to have to drive back to we're I picked up my stuff which added more miles and took more gas. I really hope this is not how uhaul does business

Staff member who helped us with our reservation was disengaged and very confusing and he was very poor at communicating. The 7th was extremely hot/humid and not suitable for storing boxes. The bill does not appear on the online account until the day it is due, resulting in an unnecessary late charge. The facility was full of spiders and leftover spider traps.

Only an "average" rating due to the fact that services provided are just... "space". Staff is excellent, but in reality, you have very little contact outside of setting up and closing accounts if you have a storage unit. They are very helpful otherwise!!! The building is very clean and accessible. It's only my opinion that when rental rates increase, it should only be applied to new leases. Anyone that has had a unit for a significant time should not be penalized for the difference. Thanks

My security access code NEVER works. It welcomes me when I enter the building but does not allow me access to the elevator. I have had to ask the counter help for assistance numerous times in the last 39 days. It's annoying and inconvenient. On 10/7/2020 I got stuck on the elevator for more than 10 minutes. The elevator call for help button was not operational - which is dangerous, and illegal. I called and called and called and nobody ever picked up the phone. I was crying by the time someone came to open the door to access their own storage unit. Staff said the phone system wasn't working. Scary.

There was no ceiling, a 6" pipe coming about 3 feet out of the floor, open, in my unit, another pipe going floor to ceiling in the unit, holes in the wall, a 5" hole going to the hallway, and full spider traps all along the floor of my unit. It was disgusting.

Although I have used your service three (3) times, there are a few things that I would like to express. I tried to reach someone at the desk, and no one picked up the phone so I pushed the help box button on the floor, and no one answered that either. Supposed I wasn't there with anyone and I was getting attached. No one would have helped me in time. Also, it is too hot and there is no air circulating in the building. I thought I was going to pass out with no air. Lastly, the doors on the unit are so thin and limp that I really didn't feel that the lock was really securing it. Anyone could come in and kick a hole in the door and take whatever they wanted and no one would ever have known it.

Staff is great, facility was well maintained and secure. When I got a new debit card and input for payement, I assumed it would go on auto pay. It didn't, and I was charged a late fee. Certainly I could've and should've paid more attention, but you made a pretty good amount of money off me for a year seemingly without much overhead. Seemed a little gratuitous. That said, would come back. Everyone I interacted with there was helpful and cool and deserves a raise.

I arrived at my storage unit At the Albany location on broadway at 7pm, just as the office was closing. I went up to my locker to move my items into the unit, however there was a pad lock on the unit with a green tag that said "customer ready". I tried to contact the general manager who was Supposed to be available for after hours assistance, however he did not answer his phone, his voicemail box was full and he did not respond to email or text message. I was finally able to contact the security company who monitors the building, the gentleman put me through to customer service where I waited on hold for at least 30 mins. I finally spoke to Coco at customer service who suggested I "remove the green tag" and continue to move my items in. Her advice was not helpful as there was a pad lock on my unit that required a key to unlock it. I explained this again and she put me on hold for a second time to see if she could talk to the general manager. She could not reach Shannon, but assured me a local employee was on their way. I waited for two and a half hours (30 mins until access to the building closed) and no one showed up to unlock the locker. I contacted customer service a second time and spoke to a man who sent me a 47second YouTube video tutorial on how to do a mobile check in with a digital lock. This was not helpful. Since not being able to move onto my storage unit on the day I planned, I was required to bring the uhaul truck I rented back home, increasing mileage on the vehicle and needed to wait until office hours opened before I could move in. I am extremely frustrated about the whole experience using uhaul. It was a major Inconvenience for me to not be able to move in when I was supposed to. I would like to be refunded my total rental charge for the uhaul truck and 4 months rent free for the storage unit.

l am a very busy man, l get 1 day off a month!!! The elevator was down. There wasn't a sign & the front desk didn't seem to care? Very unprofessional, l will not recommend your facility & our relationship will be short. The gentleman who signed me up was extremely helpful & courteous. A very clean and security facility, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I was a storage customer for 18 years and never had a problem with my unit. I'd recommend this facility to anyone with a short-term or long-term storage need.

I rented a storage unit two days ago - squarely during the Covid-19 crisis and it did not appear that employees or the store were following NY state recommendations. There was no information about increased disinfecting protocols (and it looked like there were none in place - floor was dirty, there was a latex glove on the floor of the elevator (yuk)), employees seemed unaware of the need to use hand sanitizer before and after interacting with customers, and there were no signs letting people know they need to keep 6 feet distance. Customers stood on line as usual and the air system near the counter blew hvac air in our faces. People stood close in the elevators that rode to storage units. Covid-19 is spread by air and surfaces. The Broadway Albany Uhaul needs to up its game to keep its staff and customers safe. It seems well behind the curve compared with the communications from and protocols put into action by other large companies. Please take this virus seriously and protect your employees, your customers - your business! What steps will you take to make employees and customers safe? I would like to hear about it as currently I do not think the storage building I've rented from feels like a safe place.

I almost fainted on the elevator and the fact that there is no air made things worse for me. I was appalled by the infestation of spiders. Not sure whose suppose to go back to that. I'm now scared .

The storage area is sooo hot! Get a fan or air conditioner. Also, why don't they clip locks?! I had to pay over 100 USD to get my lock clipped by an outside locksmith. Why don't you offer that?

I called several times at least 6 to be transferred and put on hold for about 12 to 15 minutes each time to only have my call disconnected. Each time called back no one could make any pick up.

The delivery driver was great. Unfortunately he seemed to be the only one that knew their job. The entire experience was a nightmare including the inability for Uhaul to find my box multiple times
