I love the online option for pickup/ drop off, the unused box buy back option, the box drop off option. The staff were very helpful and kind.

micheal J.Online pick up did not work. My equipment was not assigned. I had to wait an hour for the office to open for someone to help me. I tried calling the customer help center and was transferred around in circles for over 30 minutes, no one seemed to have any clue what was wrong with my reservation. When I got the van it was wedged in parallel parked between the building and another van and left up to me to get out of the tight spot. Poor overall experience. Only good thing was the friendly employee at the location that checked me out at the counter once they did finally open. Set my move back a whole hour costing me money I was paying to moving helpers. Not happy.

micheal J.I went to pick up my car at the end of the day and they were not able to complete the wiring. They said they had the wrong wiring kit and couldn't find another one. I scheduled this three weeks ago. They should have had plaenty of time to get the right wiring kit in. Now i have to take off of work to drop off the vehicle, get a ride and then leave work early to pick it up.

Hector O.I would not recommend uhaul. Their price per mile is double budget. They have an automated system that doesn't work as they say it should. We started the process of rental on the app, it took 30 min. But they charged us an extra day saying we took the uhaul the minute we started the process. But we couldn't even get the truck yet. It's very aggravating.

So my daughter and I got the truck to only find the back had someone personal lock on it, so we had to go back and straighten the situation out, then he inspected the vehicle and gave us another truck, I thankful for that.

One of the workers was already there but did not have the key to open the door, only management has the ability to open the store. The woman who helped me was very nice, apologetic, and helped me right away. Received the car hauler right away and was on my way.

Nayden R.Motivate the guy behind the counter to be more helpful. I walked around the showroom looking for someone before I saw him behind his computer screen. Acted like I was disturbing his resting session. Gave very little help walking me through the process signing into the system. Also he didn't walk with me to look over the truck and had to find it on my own by searching for the number on the truck. When I returned the vehicle after hours I couldn't get the WiFi to open up the link in your parking lot. The truck was nice and ran great. The driver door has to be slammed to keep it closed and the ramp assembly where it pulls out and hooks needs to be greased and checked.

Venus R.Poor communication and customer service. Left waiting alone in the store for over 20 min while everyone apparently went out on a lunch break. Made an appointment for a hitch install at 1PM, my car wasn't touched until over an hour and half later, on my second attempt to get it installed ( my appointment had to be rescheduled the first time due to them “not receiving all the partsâ€). Never received a call when the item was received. I had to call myself a week later to have an appointment made, which I already prepaid the item and install fee, otherwise I would have gone somewhere else. Will not be returning.
Elizabeth R.Might I suggest a means for return and/or drop off of equipment. Lines are (understandably) long and slow so a wait of 30 minutes just to drop off the keys and be told that a receipt can be printed or emailed is a waste of time. Jumping the line is not the best option but a sign and a basket that says leave key and contract here would be welcomed.
Robert B.The first time I went to this location and was told I had to pay a $200 deposit because I was paying in cash for a 6'12" trailer and I had to show ID. The trailer is only $29.99.I didn't get the trailer because I felt like I was being overcharged. I ended up going back a day or two later but I made sure to call the 1-800# for Uhaul first. I explained what happened the day before and was informed that I was being overcharged and I was only suppose to pay $60.00, and if I had any issues to call them back. I had issues. #1 I was rated $120 and #2 I was damn near forced to take a picture ID. They claimed it wad "policy" but this was not the case when I first came in. I explained I'm a victim of domestic violence and was not comfortable with taking a picture. They called the GM (Angi Irving) and explained that I'm comfortable with providing the driver's license but I'm not comfortable with taking a picture. The GM told them "well we take pictures at this location" and it's "policy". They would not allow me to rent without taking a picture. At the time of my rental the only sign, in the entire store, stated the requirement is to show a drivers license as photo identification, Nowhere else in the store, visible for customers to see, did it state anything about a new "requirement" or "policy" to have a picture taken. As a victim of domestic violence I felt violated all over again and I have no idea where my picture is going or who has access to it. I'm requesting for my photo to be removed from Uhaul system and to be fully reimbursed. After I went through all of this, being overcharged and forced to take a photo, the location called me back to tell me they "owed" me $18.00. I'm sure the employee's are only following what Angi is telling them to do and I'm wondering if their system is somehow set up to overcharge all of their customers because when I picked up the $18 another customer was being charged over $100 for a deposit also.Uhaul you really need to do something about this "every location has the right to charge a deposit of how ever much they like" .. It's called price gauging for a reason.

gianluca a. | Expérience généraleMoving in seemed pretty simple. But the move out process was poor. I have used u-haul for many years when I needed to move or store things. I was told on move in and out that there would be a pro rated rent for any time not used for the month. I confirmed the amount on the day we moved out, with 9 days used during that month. After 5 days, I still hadn't received any refund. I called and spoke with the manager and owner of the facility, both saying that it's not possible that I was told that. I am now being told that nothing can be done because it is a nationwide policy for no refunds and yet they are able to rent out the unit I have paid for and have no access to. I contacted corporate and initially was told that it was based on each location's discretion. The customer service representative on the phone at corporate was professional, but was unable to help on her end as the funds would have to be released from the store specifically. A few moments later being told that the policy did indeed change. As someone who has worked in customer service for many years, this company's policy has now cost them my business and anyone else's that I come in contact with. This facility and staff in particular will never be recommended.
