After I drive off the lot, the low fuel light came on. It was supposed to be at 1/4 tank, but it was not. I had to put $35 dollars of fuel in for my daily rental. I also was switched to this location that was further away from my house.

The gauge showed just under 1/4 of a tank and I returned it just under 1/4 of a tank, yet somehow it was decided I owed $66 for a perceived couple gallons difference. I generally like this uhaul station, but this gas charge was ridiculous and I am not satisfied.

Federico Garza III have used u-haul many times and always had a great experience. This was a horrible experience. The truck I was rented was awful. It had over 100 000 miles on it and should be taken out of service or maintained better. The driver's side door had to be slammed for it to close. I was on the highway before I realized the door was not shut all the way. Second, you should not rent a vehicle in TX if the AC does not work. I had to drive with windows down because it was so hot the day I rented it. I wanted to share my experience with the manager but it was obvious he could care less as he was smoking his cigarette outside the door so I just gave them my keys and left. I will still probably rent trailers from UHaul but if I need a truck I will go to Pensky. I also would never rent from this location again.

Moving out was bitter sweet. I'm extremely pleased with this location.

Empty Truck would rev to 4K just to reach 40 mph. I thought the hand break is engaged but it was the fuel. The truck returned to normal operation after refueling with 89 octane fuel.

To make matters worse, they didn't have a small truck available, forcing me to settle for a larger one. The truck I received was dirty, with muddy tires, and shockingly, the back of the truck wasn't even closed when I drove off the lot. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone."

Any time i requested assistance from your staff they either never follow up or would make me feel like i was stupid/broke the door. It would take me an hour if not longer to get this unit closed or open, i have photos and video of this happening both when closing and opening the unit door. Ontop of that? Most of my stored belongings had to be discarded due to Rats eating my boxes/urine and fecal matter scattered all over my belongings. My rent was increased with no added accommodation or maintenance. The staff are inattentive and more worried about listening to music and checking their snapchats than they are about their job.

Anyone can enter the storage building when the lot is open. There are individual alarms on each unit but hey only last a moment and there are no instructions on how to deactivate them or are there any responses to alarms. An individual with a simple bolt cutter could have a field day opening units and rifling the contents. There is trash and debris all over the entrance to the area. There was no one to receive return trucks. There was insufficient staff to service customers. The wait in line was well over 30 minutes and then the staff seemed to be more interested in seeing which of their coworkers they could palm off work to, many of the did little or nothing but spent the majority of the time trying to get someone else to do the work. In summary, the place is very busy but mainly due to poor management and worker performance. The facility is falling apart. Many things are in urgent need of repair. For the owners I am sure it is a license to print money, but they do not seem at all interested in the long haul value of their business or in providing any type of customer satisfaction. Deplorable.

I was there to puck up truck at 6:30 am was not able to get tge lock off. 2 employees that were moving trucks around tried. They said I would have to wait until 7 until someone opened the store . Well the person was late They did not arrive until 730 no it's been one hr after my pick up time. We were given a different truck never did a check in. We got one storage unit unloaded and went around to unload the one inside. Nope no place to back the truck up because umpty trailers were parked in the spots. Returned the truck at 1230 I asked to speak to tge manager about the mess of the day. Jaun was out somewhere getting a truck. So they said to call him in 45 minutes . I told the lady that my unit was now empty and told her about the situation of not being able to empty the otger unit due to empty trailers . My son left 2 messages and never got a return call. Never got the truck checked in either they said because it was raining. We never got a receipt. Later that day I called the general uhaul number and spoke to a lady. She informed me that if you do nit get the equipment promised you are suppose to get a $50 credit. Interesting that not one oerson working that day mentioned that. She gave me the credit ,sent me a receipt and I told her that my unit was empty. I also asked her to email Jaun that we would like a call back. Again NO RETURN CALL !!!. Then yesterday I got a message from your facility stating you noticed my unit was empty. So I called and spoke either Craig and let him know that he is now the 3rd person I have told my unit is empty. Your communication and customer service needs improvement. I will be expecting some money off when I empty our other unit since it was a HUGE INCONVENIENCE we were not able to do it that day !!! So Jaun you to get it together !!!

I had to drive 10 miles to retrieve. The manager defended his staff initially saying they wouldn't do that then I asked him if the Uhaul staff at the location I picked up from failed to check the pin, then a light came on, was friendly but young and needs experience dealing with customers!

They also apologized and stated they didn't know why it decided not to run the card. Other than that, they were excellent. Well lit. Plenty of space. Plenty of carts to transport. Expect to have to go to the office, in person, to ask or resolve any issues. During my check-in process there were untrained staff running the front desk. The owner, in person, actually said he will process my free month but he never did. As I checked out the employee working the desk was wonderful and handled my free month, hopefully. Still waiting for verification. Make sure this facility also trains you on how to enter the storage facility. Tip. You must swipe your care on the left hand card reader. Do not use the one on the right. The staff knows the one on the right doesn't work. Also the sliding glass door will always be open making the facility unsecure.

Then they did a fire inspection and update of the building that required our lock key left at the office until it was complete. It took forever and it was a pain to go to the office to key my key each time I needed to go into my unit. This June I was late on my payment for the 1st time in all these years because I was out of state at the time and payment was overlooked. I got charged $30 in late fees! They also locked my unit. I went to clean out my unit a couple of weeks after got back in town. I had already made the late payment and the lock was still on there. I had to go to the office to get it removed. The past few times I've been in the office it has been a long wait for assistance because there is only one person working the counter. Plus, I have been unable to get the location on the phone. Keep getting a main location automated system. Very frustrating experience the past 3 years. Glad I am all moved out as of July 15, 2021.

March 30th 2021 - I finally receive a call back from U-Haul but only because I haven't paid my "rent". I explained my situation for the 10th time. Never received an apology but it appears the unit is finally closed out of my name... for now.

On Feb 24th, I emailed the branch manager notifying them that I had closed my account a week earlier and disputed the charge with my credit card company. I received no response. On March 23rd, I was charged again. I went to the U-haul website and closed my account again and disputed the charge with my credit card company again. On April 2nd, I received a late notice from the branch about my failure to pay for the storage unit and notification that I was being charged a $15 late fee. I again emailed the branch manager the above information and didn't receive a response. I am extremely disappointed with the branch's account management and will never use U-Haul Moving & Storage of Frisco Prosper again. They have lost me as a customer forever. Please feel free to use this feedback directly with the branch so they can learn from this incident.
