I've been using UHaul since the 80's. Many of my moves were due to military assignments. I could always count on UHaul They NEVER disappoint.

Went 30 minutes early to figure it out but it to over 40 minutes. Had helpers waiting. Very mad and frustrated. Never again.

Bruce HDrop off of my pod with all my stuff was 3 days late and no one could give me an idea for the first 2 days and said they didn't know where the pod was, and could only say it was going to be late. How does a company in 2024 not know where it's truck and driver are…
Jesse BI was not comfortable with the front tire tread on the first truck and rejected it. It took a little while but they found another truck that had acceptable tread all the way around. The personnel were very helpful and considerate.

Galen HFound errors on my paperwork. My home address is 17046 W Lundberg St, Surprise AZ 85388 and the paperwork doesn't reflect that. Also my secondary contact information is incorrect. If you supply me with an email address I can send photos of my paperwork with the errors highlighted. Otherwise, I will try to get into your office and make these corrections taken care of as soon as I am able. Terrence SI was created at the equipment return by a very nice and very professional employee. I immediately began to voice my opinion about the San Pedro and Basse location back in Texas. The person informed me that all customers are to receive a WASHED vehicle.. CLEAN windows and mirrors and that since the mirrors are not automatic, they help the customer with the mirrors. So why does this Arizona Uhaul do there job and Texas Uhaul on San Pedro and Basse refuse to provide what Uhaul promises.

Gregory MThe web site didn't have updated information. I did not get an email to confirm pod delivery at destination earlier than anticipated. Luckily I was able to get Moving Help contractors with a few hours notice to unload to meet a deadline. Other than that it's third time I've used uPods and have had great experiences.

GREG DThe person who did the transaction was polite - however, he made a huge mistake. I was clear on my moving from one state to another when renting a one way truck. I also scheduled U-Boxes which went extremely well. The problem was the truck @ drop it off in another state. Apparently I was rented a vehicle that should have stayed local & was told to drive it back 800 miles! At the time of rental, with the person at the counter, we used my phone GPS to determine the miles…so it was not my error as to the type of rental; it was to be one-way only. I spoke with the manager who was rude & finally with the help of the vender at my final location was able to get things changed via corporate so I could return the vehicle. It would have been nice for the manager to have acknowledged there was a mistake instead of being a jerk about it. People make mistakes & it was a learning opportunity for his staff. I will still recommend U-Haul because your systems are good.

MORGAN RI was charge for after hours delivery even though I dropped off before closing. Now seeing two charges on my credit card, the orginal one that is charging me for gas and after hours and then the second invoice removing that. I will wait a few days to see if first invoice is canceled.

Selina PY'all really need more than one elevator. The second day I was putting things in my unit, the elevator broke and I couldn't get my items in the unit due to this. I was moving last minute and had to leave things behind because I couldn't move them in my unit.

terry dWhen renting a truck fuel tank should always have to be FULL upon returning it that way it's always fair to everyone because you don't know how much fuel you will need so by filling it when you are done is an exact measure of how much fuel you actually used instead of guessing like I did and returning it with MORE fuel than I used. I picked up my rental truck and it only had 1/4 tank so I had to find a fuel station immediately
Dan FInitially scheduled install more than a week out at their soonest, but they called with an opening only 2 days into the wait which was awesome! Lobby and grounds were very clean and employees were friendly and helpful. Installer was knowledgeable and very experienced in hitch installation. He was careful did a great job installing, even torquing the attachment bolts properly. Was a great experience for sure, pick this location and you won't be disappointed. Will be back for future needs and accessories. A++

I then went to the storage assigned and it was already occupied. This having to once again load my vehicle because after going back to the office they said they would have to move me to another building. This whole process became not worth my energy. It was suppose to be easy and simple . It became not that so I decided to cancel everything due to the deception and chaos.

My policies are if you want rings and junk all over your ears, nose, eyes and everywhere else. Get it out before you come to work. This facility gave me peace of mind and went beyond my expectations.

Carla W | Expérience généraleI never had any issues with this storage facility. I didn't like that my rent went up from the beginning amount of 55 but it is what it is. I never knew (understood) about the alarm going off when I opened my storage. The "sign in" with the card was explained to me my last day. It was interesting to learn the last day but at least I now have the knowledge. Maybe uhaul should implement a notification system if someone sets their storage alarm off because they didn't know or forgot to sign in. This notification can be texted or emailed explaining that the alarm went off and in the future what needs to be done to prevent the alarm going off at future visits. It can also state if they did not set the alarm off to contact the office. Once again, a really good facility, thank you to everyone that works at that facility.

Also caused various cancellation fees (approx 500). Uhaul did install more lighting that I could see, but don't know if anything else was done. Stalls where clean and staff was exceptional.

MICHAEL E | Expérience généraleI already have a unit there. This will be a 2nd unit. I shouldn't have to redo taking my photo, etc, etc. It's all on file and I've been renting for a few years. Once we arrived the Unit was padlocked even though we chose "skip the line". I called on the intercom for 5 minutes before walking up and getting someone to open the unit. Then the slider on the lock wasn't working so we had to call for assistance again. We requested maintenance (that should have been offered, we shouldn't have had to request it if locking mechinism is sticking). Hopefully will be fixed soon as it's sticking and is very difficult to open.

It was the best organized, ergonomic and efficient. The design of the facility was well thought out and planned. The carts were the perfect size for moving boxes and furniture, had pivots for easy turning and had a special cart for mattresses. Brilliant! The elevators were spacious for 2 cart entry and 3 cart holding. Best storage unit!

Could have drove around to see if others had obvious issues like the door open which I saw on many units. No cameras for Sheriff to access. Fence was destroyed and not repaired for too long. RV behind me just happened to be gone one day and someone stole my $30 000 Polaris right out of my 5th wheel. I could not afford to lose anything else so I had to move out and store elsewhere.

The person who answered provided zero assistance in transferring that free month to another location. I spent over an hour trying to get ahold of someone who could do that and getting squared away at another location. Terrible customer service. Ruined the whole experience.

Someone cut through the units ha dle to get around the lock. The only way to do that was with a grinder or an electric version of a hacksaw. We noticed there seem to be cameras covering where this happened. The facility does not feel safe.

Proceeded to call other locations and tracked down another truck to rent. Never received a call from the original U-Haul facility about having a truck for me. When I showed up with movers the next day, there were 3 trucks out front returned. Empty promises by the general manager at the location.

Margaret A | Premières impressionsBreakins were common, trailers and motor homes robbed with regularity, security lights 90 % burned out cameras not working, east chain link fence cut in two places to allow outside access and not properly repaired. This has been an ongoing problem for months and months. Some tenants have been broken into three different times. This site is a security risk to those who rent spaces to store their personal RVs, negligence highlights how much the company truly cares or values their renters. After the most recent breakins, no emails were sent to tenants making them aware of the security risks and situation that exists at this facility. Criminal activity is being both encouraged and promoted by the negligence of the management of this facility.

I had a one month free and he was down talking myself and his co worker stating its was wrong and he is the one who works there. The conversation he had with his Co worker who was helping me put me off too. His whole demeanor towards everyone was extremely condescending. If there was an error with online and being offered he could have been more respectful. I asked if their were any more units and he was very short and unhelpful. The whole interaction could have been completed in a much more professional way. I likely will be moving my storage to another facility. I would hate to ever need help and need to request it from that guy.

These issues have happened several times over the last year causing us time and money. Every single time we have tried to get ahold of someone in charge, we were forwarded to sales associates. No reimbursement was offered, not even a pro-rated refund for not giving us access during the hours we have been paying for. IT WAS DIFFICULT IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AHOLD OF ANYONE USING THE PHONE NUMBERS FOR THE GM OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. No reliability, no security, no management personnel, and no customer service. What a rip-off!

They addressed my concerns immediately with respect, patience and determination. An issue developed with the removal of my car from the vehicle transport. A few attendants addressed the removal issue and prevented damage to my vehicle. The staff also addressed the miscommunication concerning the storage reservation that was processed through the corporate office. They were knowledgeable and resolute by accomodating me for my troubles. I'm extremely satisfied with this location.

We had to make an unexpected trip out of town and desperately needed a few things out of our storage unit. We couldn't locate our keys to our padlock. The staff and manager refused to let us on our unit, we wanted to cut OUR lock. They told us we had to call a locksmith. It was in the early evening. This was not feasible. I have been using Uhaul for nearly 40 years. Never again.

Tim J | Premières impressionsWe initially booked the rental on-line for a 26 foot but called to change the reservation to a 15 foot vehicle which we were told was one way. When we actually got to the location we were informed that this was not the case and that we would have to return the vehicle back to the location even though it was way out of our way. For a company that charges 99 cents per mile, it would be helpful to allow a one way clause, especially when we had booked it that way on the phone. The attendant said if she changed it to a one way we would have to add an additional $70 dollar charge. Also, the vehicle was not full when we picked it up, but were told to ensure it was full upon being returned. I did so, but am wondering why I am not being prorated for the cost of the gas that I had to fill up past what was provided to me. Additionally, when I asked about a military discount, I was informed this was only provided at the actual storage location, which I was using, to store our belongings and yet no discount (Military aside) was given for the use of the truck. I would not recommend using U-Haul in the future.

Upon renting a UHaul truck, found that I qualified for 1 month free rent - which helps out. I found the staff to be very friendly and pleasant, and noticed that this is a state-of-the-art facility with plenty of cameras and security sensors. The rental unit was spotless and seemed to be very new.

The CSRs were extremely rude and offered 0 help with the problems I have here. I stored an air loomed piano that my great grandmother gave me, long story short, I went to clean my unit out and the piano was filled with spider webs, black widows, and brown recluses. The people on duty said they couldn't do anything about it and that the insurance doesn't cover it so I'm basically SOL.. The general manager said he can't do anything without pictures to start a "claim". It's been 3 days and still haven't heard anything. I'm furious. Don't go here.

We rented 2 units and 1 unit we were refunded on when we closed it. Keep in mind that is was at the beginning of that month. We recently closed our second unit and it was at the middle of the month. We were told that we would not be given a refund or even prorated for the remainder of the month even tho uhaul was paid in full for the entire month. Doesnt seem right to not be prorated for the last 2 weeks. We basically gave those funds away.
