They rented my 4 by 8 trailer that I already paid for, after I had my wires fix. So the girl that was there gave me another trailer which was a 6 by 12 but because they kept trying to get money and put money on my account my bank blocked my card and I couldn't use my card for the day. They changed my drop off too. I am not happy with your company.

The employee that was supposed to clean the truck, switches the truck already cleaned that was assigned to me, for the dirty one he was supposed to clean before renting it out.. it's all on camera. Took the truck with the windows down in a hurry. Got home rolled all the windows up while loading. Soon as I got back in the truck the smell was horrible. I was throwing up. Dog smell and dog pee so strong and dog hair all inside the truck.

This delayed date rented me. The U-Haul on Wednesday was the same one who was there when I returned it and she did an excellent job. This was on telegraph and 8 mile Road in Detroit Michigan. Much better service than I had on 16 March at the location on Livernois and 7 mile.

The back of the van inside I had a couple of pallets in there boxes paper plastic and rags only had to move a dryer so none of it was in my way and she was ready to change it I told her that was all right that's good but it needs to be cleaned out next time for the next person but it worked out for me fine and yes I would tell people about it again to go there and run from there

Staff at this location are extremely unprofessional and lack any customer service skill that I would expect to encounter planning a move. From not answering the phone during business hours to services that are stated to be provided somehow cannot be performed. Especially with such a reputable company like U-haul I would expect satisfactory at best. Some not all of the employees at this location will be the reason I will not be returning nor referring any business. Makes the company as a whole look bad in my opinion.

Absolutely best business interactions I've had w a company, almost EVER. Staff amazingly pleasant, helpful, accurate and detail oriented. Whole process, across country, efficient, affordable, timely, and reassuring. Will recommend Ubox, and around town truck rentals to everyone. Already have to a freind in San Diego, who recommended to friends in Fairbanks and Arizona. While everyone was very good and friendly, the manager dude in Eugene OR and that logistics women who'd call often, as needed, were two OUTSTANDINGLY EXCELLENT employees to me and as representatives and sales team for UHaul. The last two years were full of obstacles, loss, and difficulties. Working w Uhaul for last 8 months was a charm. Thank you! Only recommendation is box pick up in Farmington, MI showed up 30 minutes early, could of been a problem, but truly wasn't. No leakage, no damage, no loss.

It's my 1st time using Uhaul Storage & will be the last. From the truck rental to the storage unit reservation customer service isn't the greatest nor the worst. I was able to find moving help through the Uhaul app & the service was Fantastic.

The employees was rude, eating in front of the customers, not paying attention to the customers, talking rude, talking about personal life with each other opposed to helping a customers no instructions no help on how things go just sign this sign that is all they did. I was double charged for my service they tried to get more money from my card saying I kept the truck for two days when I only had it for an hour 1/2 . The front office was in organize when I came to return the truck an gentlemen told me to give the keys to an person whom was suppose to be outside an it wasn't. Then I went back in an you g lady told me to put the keys back in the truck. So this was Friday the 5th . They call Sunday the 7th to say the truck was not there. It got cleared but they need to get it together

Everyone was really nice and super helpful. I had to be out of my storage unit by the 1st and I severely underestimated the hauling capacity of my Honda Civic, so I was grateful that they were open on a Sunday. Thank you for making a stressful day much less stressful!!!

The staff at this location was very unprofessional and did not attend to the customers as they should. One of the ladies there was shouting to the back of the office to another employee asking what she had to eat and asked if she would bring her some. She was snacking on whatever she had at her desk and drinking her coffee. She answered the phone all while I was sitting there and put the customer on hold and told another employee the name of the caller and said they just kept calling and that they were getting on their nerves. Very unprofessional!!!! So my resvervation was for 12 noon and I asked for a 26 foot truck and when I got there the lady said they didn't have it and didn't try to help me find one at another location. Basically just told me that was old she had and just sat there didn't try to offer me anything for the inconvenience. So with the smaller truck I had to make two trips which caused me to use more miles than I wanted. So with all that being said….. I will NEVER use this location again and would not recommend this location to others.

The truck was not available when I went to pick it up . I was advised to downsize to a 17" and the keys were not in the lock box . I then was told to go with the 15" and return to get the 26" when the unit store opened. I made reservations 5 days in advance because my movers had to go to work . It was a disaster! Also when I did get into the 15" it reeked of cigarettes and it was empty

I couldn't access my storage unit. Staff cut my lock off (for a reason) and acted slow when I asked them about it. They then Lied and said that the guy who cuts the locks off was gone. They were going to charge me $50 to cut off a lock they had put on my storage unit instead of finding the key to the lock they placed on there. Luckily I was able to work my charm on a male worker, and he really helped me out. I wouldn't have been able to access my stuff without him. He went above and beyond. He even found my old lock that was cut off inside my init. The rest of those people in that office truly are sorry but I get why they are where they are in life so hey. Glad I got my stuff and don't gotta deal with these slow people again.

I rated it poor because I was treated with anger and disrespect by the young lady who checked me in to storage unit 2257. She set up roadblocks to keep me from getting a storage. It was Lauren who actually got me into the storage. Then the young lady tried to discourage me from taking out insurance. I insisted thinking this would prevent thief. It did not. Again my unit was compromised by thief. I'm very disappointed and feels violated that cloths and other items were taken. I would like to file a report so that cooperate will be aware that there is a lack of honesty and integrity within the U-haul organization.

I began my service there on Thursday, November 17th at around 7:15 am. The manager on staff at that time was ultra professional, helpful, and courteous. She exemplifies customer service in it's perfection. Moving forward, I will only use this U-Haul branch and will highly recommend other to do the same. I wish I could remember her name so that I could specifically mention her, but I am terrible with names. In description, she was a very attractive, slender, African American woman.

One time I didn't close my unit securely. When staff noticed, they called to alert me. They also secured the unit until I could come back with my key. When I got there a week later, they showed me how to properly close it up, too. When I was closing out my account, they young lady at the desk was attentive, darling, and efficient.

The facility has fine bugs that are very ignoring needs to be addressed. You can't move in for bugs flying around you in your face landing on you. That's just nasty you need it exterminator.

Thanks U-Haul. But since you're asking we did not appreciate the price increases. Our stuff didn't get any heavier or we needed a larger space. As low income clients, in between living arrangements, it was piling on for us. I think if you start with a price, it should stay the same for the duration. Just saying. Anyway, thanks again.

The entire staff from the gentleman outside directing your return U-Haul safely through the parking lot to the Representative assisting you with your rental Weather it was a return, storage etc. I listen to them carefully as they assistant everyone attentively. I use this location four years ago when I move from Detroit to Denver, I chose this location to continue to do business with when I decided to return to Detroit .The representatives were courteous, professional, friendly, and understanding, that it can be a bit much driving 17 miles running into hail and foggy weather. And I especially respected the way each Representative handle the conversation when calling another location and how that person on the other end responded to them. They seem happy to be working for U-Haul very good personalities on both sides of the phone. They were smiling, professional, and ready to serve one another needs for calling.

Uhaul is the best storage facility when it comes to customer service and working with clients. I was I'll for 3 yrs and they worked with me and let me hold/ keep my storage without taking advantage or gouging on the fees. If you have anything at istorage down the road beware they charge excessive late fees, threats and constant harrassment calls email, call, automated. If you had that one even the late fees are higher within there other locations... They don't work with you if you can't pay your stuff is auctioned even if u pay all your fees for that you don't get anything back... Fake reviews also. Uhaul has these scam places beat I. Service excellence and sensitive service. Thank you U haul for having my back!

This facility is the most poorly equipped, and staffed facility I have ever been to. The staff, all the way up to Angela Boone, the store manager was unprofessional. The staff that worked there has horrible attitudes, very poor customer service skills, and lack the proper staffing and capabilities to effectively run the location for optimal business. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. If I ever need to rent a truck or use a storage facility, I'll drive in the complete opposite direction to get decent services, even if I lived next door to them. Overall rating, ZERO STARS!

My storage experience was pleasant until I decided to move out. I called and informed the person who answered I was moving out of my storage unit. She did not tell me I was to begin the process of moving out on the website. The day I moved out, the office attendant wasn't very helpful. She was disinterested and not professional at all. When she was asked about where I could find a dumpster, she had no information. There should be some information for customers as to where a dumpster is located. Very inconvenient.

I made a reservation & they Rented me a unit with a lock on it, then tells me it will be 3-5 days to get my $ back or go to the uhaul on 8 mile @ evergreen and they will wave the 1rst months fee, get to evergreen uhaul & they said they have nothing to do with what Telegraph uhaul done to me & they will reserve a unit 4 this Friday 4 me😳🥺l still want my $ back, nothing to talk about but my $$$ , l did try to resolve it $ all l got was a unit reserved 4 Friday, no courtesy nothing, l will call fox 2 if my $ isn’t refunded thank u

Everything about U-Haul is good as far as the storage getting in and out some of the staff was friendly. There were times that I called and was put on hold for over an hour plus. And the day of my move which was Saturday December the 2nd I tried to get a truck and was told on the 1st and the second that telegraph didn't have any trucks available. I reserve the truck through the 800 number and there. There were several trucks in the whole parking lot when I pulled up other than that it wasn't okay experience.

The service was excellent from Love Joy and Clarence! Everyone was very professional and accommodating despite it being a lot of people moving at the first of the month I was well taken care of. It's not fair that I was leaving to move to Georgia I had the storage unit in Detroit for not even 7 days and they charged me a whole $160 or 70 bucks did not try to give money back on time for being in the unit or anything I believe I should get a refund of some type

All staff should have access to avaistirage units and trucks. I lost out to an online reservation because the staff member informed me that he didn't have access. I had to wait for the other member return from the store. The 24 hour access was not available.

I would give 5 stars if some of the reps I spoke to after being stuck outside my storage unit for 45mins because no one gave me my access code could assist. "Saying I checked in already" I always refer people to this location.

I appreciated the storage unit, cleaned of the facility. This particular location has the most unpleasant, uneducated in customer service skills dealing directly with a customer I have ever experienced from U-Haul. The midage female that works in customer service has been rude and displayed very Lazy and no concern for customer care one too many times for me, she was the reason for my departure and the reason I will let others know that location don't show kindness towards their customers, not only have she show nasty disposition towards me, but I have heard others told about her Ghetto character and yet she still remain working at U-Haul and I'm sure you know who she is!!! So do you really care about the customer care or is this just routine rating? The location in Redford has Outstanding customer service and they were all young men!!! I would like to think a female would care more about how she come across but not so@ U-Haul on Telegraph between 7and 8ml

The young lady who helped me was amazing! I've had a rough go of it the entire week U-Haul has messed up several orders and then I got a leaky truck and damaged property I was willing to give up on U-Haul. Then the young woman at this facility that waited on me changed my mind. She was phenomenal compassionate and extremely professional. In my mind she's due for a promotion a raise of bonus pat on the back all of that and more. She is by far the best representation of your company I have encountered in a long while. Do right by her or I will steal her from you for my company

I've already recommended you guys to my friends. Customer Service was beautiful, I didn't get the young lady name but she was actually supposed to be off this day. I'm glad she was there.. I made reservations for a storage unit and a truck before I came in to the store. And the person over the phone booked me for storage unit there at telegraph and 8 mile but uhaul truck at another facility.... But this young lady made sure I could get everything I needed in one stop. I thank her because it was convenient for me. I applaud her customer Service and her kindness.. She did everything by herself with no one else there helping using two and three cash registers and six people in line.

I needed a quick fix for a storage need and U Haul did a great job for me. I was in in less than 15 minutes over the 4th of July weekend I was only there for a few days and would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

My access card did not work. The sliding glass door did not open. We had to use small door. No cart available for smaller boxes. Uneccessary extra time to unload truck on the holiday.

I was very disappointed with staff when the customer befor me wasgiven a month free with out renting a trailer until the next day# 1 I couldn't rent the trailer until the next day and I was denied the first months rent because I wasn't a female. Then they refused to except my payments via phone or set up a direct payment I couldn't get there and they sold my unit because they don't answer the phone and place you on hold for 45 minutes then you can't get ahold of them or tell you to hold and never come back on the phone or just plain hang up on you and never call you back !!! Please call me back at 248 8009829 to discuss I am very disappointed I lost several thousand in my tools and I am disabled 24 years now at 53 years old they took my extra money I once lived on away disrespected me because I am not black that is racist towards me from day one the couldn't show me where my unit was when I rented my unit They were closing and refused to allow me to view it before they closed so I actually did not get the unit until the next day either

I do not recommend Uhaul at 48219. Poor business practices. Poor communication. Inconsistent information. Over billed. Storage hours not accessible and not accurate. I will not recommend this facility to anyone. Terrible customer service. Manager is not truthful nor transparent. . As of today I have not been contacted about over billing discrepancies.

I'm not pleased at all and will never get a storage through U-Haul again. I was moved out of my storage unit before I could ask any questions. It was the day after Christmas when I was moved out of my storage unit, The office was closed on Christmas when I purchased my unit and I had questions before I moved in it. When I called up to the office I was rudely advised that if I didn't come put my lock on my unit they will close it out. I also advised the lady over the phone that I purchased the unit on Christmas and had questions before I moved in but I couldn't ask them because they had already moved me out. I was proceeded to be put on hold for over an hour. I went into the office to find out why I was moved out my storage unit they told me they didn't have a reason in the box and they I would have to get a whole new storage unit and pay for insurance again, so I asked for my money back and I was told they didn't do refunds and that I would have to call corporate. I called customer service and they told me that, that information was wrong and they are able to give a refund but by the store manager. She tried to contact the store and nobody answered the phone I had to walk in for her to speak to the employees that were scheduled. They told me she would give me a call within three days and I received a call on Monday regarding my refund. I spoke to the manager and gave her the information. I still haven't received my refund and I know with the card I used a refund should not take this long due to it not being a major bank.

I submitted a moved out and put in the move out request in JULY! It is just now being approved in November. I have been receiving letters from the facility trying to charging me for rent for the past 4 months for a unit I haven't occupied since July. This is terrible.

I rate this cause my kids 45 inch flat screen tvs were stolen out my unit! I made a complaint and still nothing has happen. Nothing were replace! Noone has called me! & my children still doesnt have their t.v.s we finally moved into our home. Smh the day I moved my things out of storage was the day one of the employees had to cut a lock off that wasnt my original lock! The employees had no idea who cut my original lock off let alone didnt know who replace my lock. Theif nor thieves I condoned!

Made reservations for truck when I got there had smaller truck and no dolly for heavy furniture that I also reserve which prolong my moving out my storage. They charge me for 2 days instead of 1 day. Very disappointed in the overall experience.

Connie helped us and she is a ROCKSTAR! She had a line out the door was cool, calm, collected. She knew exactly what was going on with every single person in line and took care of them with a smile on her face. I can tell she knows that job inside and out. She deserves a raise.

I did my move out online and it was "pending approval" for over 3 weeks. in that 3 weeks, i got multiple notices of late payments on my unit as well as a pre-lien notice. They even sent it to my emergency contact (my mom) in the mail with her name. I called uhaul multiple times throughout that 3 week period to tell them to stop sending me notices and to finish my move out. all they could do is send a message to the manager of the store who clearly is either overworked or horrible at his job considering how long it took him to do anything about it. I was a loyal uhaul customer for all my multiple moves throughout the last couple of years but I will never be using uhaul again and will tell others of my experience.

Great location, VERY clean and the staff was always polite and super helpful! The only recommendation would be that someone answer the phone. I was trying to set things up from a different state and couldn't reach anyone by phone, had to do everything in person with this location. Despite this hiccup I would HIGHLY recommend them for any and all storage needs.
