Truck was towed from my destination. Never made it.

Ron MMention some of the features on the vehicles...for example the van we rented had lane assistance and having never experienced this technology before we at first thought something was wrong with the vehicle...besides not being tech savory everything else went swimmingly and I would totally rent from this establishment again.. another recommendation would be ezpasses on the vehicles that costumers could reimburse at the end of the rental. As most highways do not have a cash option at night anymore.

The 15' truck was awful, we filled the truck Saturday and when we emptied Sunday morning. My furniture was soaked from a leak in the roof. needless to say, my couch was very wet, and I am very unhappy. When I dropped the vehicle off, I mentioned it and no offer was even offer for compensation.

It was ready when I got there and the gentleman, I believe his name was Dave, I could be wrong but he hooked up the trailer to my truck and explained everything as far how to secure the car to the trailer. This is the 3rd time I've rented a trailer and I'm in and out and on my way, no waiting. Very Happy and I would use them again.

Jay LFlat tire,air pressure different in all 4 tires,charged 44 for a lousy 5hr extension. Wife missed a day of work because screw in tire,waiting for roadside assistance which put us behind in move,that's why we needed extension. Screw had to be in tire when we picked up,only 40lbs of air in tire,20lbs overnight. People at the pick up were nice,it was the assholes we had to deal with online.
Greg CI had a good experience. Stacie in particular was very attentive and efficient. The trailer was fine and did the job. But it was not well maintained; rusty and beat up. Only mention it because you asked. But I would still recommend the location.

Kathryn KIt was a terrible experience. I arrived at the pick-up, and there was no key in the lockbox. I reserved through a mobile pick up for a Sunday pick up at 8 am. There was no key in the lockbox, and I waited for 40 minutes. Luckily, an employee showed up to open the store. The key was hanging on the rack behind the desk. I also reserved a dolly, and it was not in the truck, so I had to scramble to get one. As a result, I was late for my appointment. I did everything right, but U-Haul failed me. I've logged two phone calls with service reps asking for a refund. They said a manager would call me back, but as of today, no one has. I will still call back and continue to ask for a refund. The whole U-Haul rental experience has been an extremely disappointing and lousy customer experience.

Once signed in, it should not require another "signing in", for twenty minutes and perhaps only need a door swipe access for the rest of the time. You have to swipe at just the right speed for it to work. It is like trying to learn a secret handshake every time to gain access. Even after a successful "signing in", when you get to the door, it says that you need to sign in and you repeat the process. But if you need storage and do not want your stuff in the super hot or deep freeze temperatures, this is the place to go.

All went well, but we recommend using plastic film to protect your belongings as you are never safe from dust coming from the floor above you. We had to change units a couple of times. Maybe U-Haul should add a protective layer between the ceiling and your personal belongings.

My items were there for 3 yes the first time. It's always immaculate, never had to worry about my items being secure. NEVER and rodents, insects etc. I have to say, the manager there now... Keep him!!! The reason I took my stuff out the first time was the manager at the time was NOT pleasant. She was just downright nasty. You're new manager... He's phenomenal. Nice guy, down to earth. Knows what he's doing and does whatever he can to help. That's all employee you want to keep. Hopefully I won't need to go through having to move again, but if I do, I'll definitely be back!!! Thank you!!!

Never an issue with security or undesirable people just hanging around as with other facilities. 24 hr access used to be available which is convenient but the hours now are more than sufficient. I will day the manager there now is MUCH more pleasant than the woman that was there. She was part of the reason I took my stuff out. The manager now was phenomenal!!! Someone give him a raise!!!

The only upside was that it was free to keep my stuff there for 6 weeks after arguing with the manager about the rate. Then when the day came to move out they had put a lock on my unit. I had to search for an employee for 20 mins to help me figure out why the lock was there. I will never come back.

Laurie K | Premières impressionsWe chose Uhaul Storage as the location was convenient for what we were looking for and not for the service or management. Do not waste your time on the website looking for a unit to rent/reserve. The online reservation and email confirmation you receive mean absolutely nothing. If you call them or speak to them in person they will tell you that the units are given out first come first serve at physical check-in and that the reservation you have taken the time to make does not hold a space for you. Moving in itself is stressful enough, but packing all week and moving all day, hours in a truck, and then finding out that the storage size you are requesting is sold out that day is not available when you plan to arrive is just the most unsettling news. Luckily while we were a just a few hours from arriving to the facility they called us back and told us a room had just opened up. There should be a way to be able to reserve ahead of time and pay in advance in order to hold a room for your arrival.
Ava P | Premières impressionsA lock was supposed to be included in the rental of the storage unit and was supposed to be found just inside the door of the empty unit but there was no lock and when I returned to the office was told that they were out of stock, fortunately we had our own from a previous rental! Otherwise a great rental experience so far. I rented a truck too. Pleasant staff, his name was Matthew. Glad that I walked in to do the rental, I was repeatedly placed on eternal hold when I telephoned to reserve a unit and truck.

Today I would have had to wait an hour for someone to pick up the phone (automated machine told me). Plus, my "free lock" was NOT placed in my unit like they said they would. We had to leave it unlocked all night!

It was challenging and time consuming for me to carry things up the stairs without use of a cart, dolly, elevator.

The Manager (Adrian) is knowledgeable and the remainder of the staff (Alex) struggle, for example my reserved storage unit wasn't really reserved, and my unused cardboard box return which had been purchased earlier in the day was returned with a receipt, and yet I got a shrug of the shoulders and "something is wrong and we can't give you a return receipt but the money _should_ return to your CC in a few weeks", from the same employee who incorrectly told me my unit was reserved a few weeks ago. A+ would use again, but make sure you talk to Adrian.

It makes me want to not use uhaul again. Also, I referred a friend to this uhaul, and they screwed up which size unit she wanted, twice, including making her go to another uhaul for the truck, which made her have to pay for the extra mileage on it.

But when I went to pick up the truck to empty my storage on the 8th the facility assistant manager who was a gentleman he was very very disrespectful. He takes about the lady who helped me on the 6th real bad he said she should have never do what she did also his inter act with me was awful. My card didn't work to get me back and forth get every trip I made. The guy who was doing the vehicle cleaning etc had to help me. The so called assistant manager was so bad I refuse to ask him any more questions. Don't remember his name but in a rating of 1 to 10 I gave him a -50. My service was excellent on Wednesday the 6th but terrible on the 8th Thank you very much.

Most employees seemed poorly trained and the facility always seemed understaffed. Storage room itself was secure and clean and never had difficulty accessing it. I only moved out because the rate increases were significant.

I got over charged for a unit the first month that was supposed to be free because I rented a truck. Then I was supposed to be on automatic pay that they messed up and made me have a late charges.So all my stuff is out of this terrible place and. I will not be paying this months rent I had the bank stop all charges and changed my account number

It was an end-of-the-month rental with an on-line reservation and some sort of U-Haul traffic/website mixup but he got me the truck. It took a lot longer to open the 2nd locker than I would have expected

Each time claiming they couldn't locate the owner of the init above me. In May 2020, I paid for May & June storage. At end of May myself & husband went to get some items out of the unit. The pink oil was again dripping into my unit. We had to clean it ourselves... then we just took everything out and terminated our storage. I asked for a refund of June rent, I was told I had to speak to the manager, so I left a message for him to call. He never called. I tried calling him and just got a recording with no option to leave a message. The Salisbury UHaul is filthy and there is no resolution to problems... alot of my personal belongings were damaged and had to be discarded. In my opinion, I think this facility is terribly managed... Never store belongings there!!
