Not a thing. Very friendly, great customer service, efficient, very timely (had it installed in @25-30 minutes vs an hour or more) and most of all "Husband Approved"on the installation of the hitch. I have used U-Haul for I Dr 40 years from west to East ost. This was far better experience I've had. Rate them as #1.

So much for their equipment guarantee. Ordered rental online for 1:15 and it says "guaranteed or we pay you $50". Get there and my rental isn't there. Said the other customer hasn't returned it. So their beat option is to send me back 25min the other direction that I needed to go after already driving 20min to this location and it was for an emergency. Why make a guarantee and advertise a guarantee if you can't actually guarantee it? Might sue actually, oh and didn't get the $50....surprise.

There were 2 guys at the pickup location, one of them the manager of the facility, another was a young guy who were extremely helpful. Such associates are really a great asset for any company. We do appreciate their assistance and are very grateful to U-haul for helping us out.

Trailer was terrible could not use. Advertise as 6x 12 trailer. But it only had an opening just over 5 feet. So it was not a true 6 foot wide trailer. Was not usable for what I needed. Refund so be issued. All I did was use it for a joy ride as it could not be used. Who even makes a trailer that has a loading ramp that isn't as wide as the trailer

When picking equipment up, the staff treat you like you're bothering them. When I dropped off the truck, the guy told me I'd get a credit for pitting extra fuel in. Instead, I was charged an extra $7 for using the dolly, but I did not use the dolly. What gives?

I went to a van on Sunday, March 3. I dropped it off at around 520 there was an attendant that came out because she was done for the day. I had asked how do you drop off equipment through the U-Haul app. Her response was "I don't know I don't use that thing" I just felt like it was just so unprofessional. If you have someone working at I placed a business they should be able to answer your questions accordingly. Other than that my experience overall it was great I will rent again thank you

Rental was changed to mobile 24/7, arrived at location but could not proceed on app as instructed, would not allow me to take my selfie - had to initiate a chat for assistance - took a long time - turns out there's a known issue with the app and android phones. Had to use the website instead, then the verification process took 15+ minutes. Was delayed over 45 minutes from my pick up time. Had I known of this issue - could've proceeded on the website from the start.

The truck interior was clean and well maintained, but it had problems shifting gears when going above 20 mph and would idle high between 3 and 4000 rpms. When I reported this to the lady at turn in, she was rather dismissive of my comments.

We were unable to utilize the 1st truck as it needed a wheel alignment 50 000 miles ago. When we took it back and informed them the manager gave all kind of excuses statign nothing was wrong with it. It squeaked from the time we pulled off. I hope they removed it from the fleet because if not, someone is going to get seriously hurt considering all the hills and curves in our area.

Rented largest open utility trailer to use for moving. Great trailer, had fold down ramps pulled well. However, due to weather, rain and snow. Our moving was delayed. Was able to chip away so to speak. Reserved it for 5days. However winded up having for nearly a month. Move was slow goin, little to no help. It's one thing is hadn't paid my bill. However EACH and every time, we would call to extend rental. Was a big deal. Do you know you've had this trailer for 8 days now Mam or Sir?? Yes I've paid what's due without fail… always a comment or telling me how long I've had rental…. Guess it would be one thing, if I had it longer than expected. And hadn't paid the bill. WAs each and every rental extension that was criticized for .. do you realize you've had this for 15?days !!!! Why yes, paid bill didn't I.

First vehicle was filthy. Got a second one and the interior stunk once the heat kicked in. Had to drive 2 1/2 hours with the window open. Also got stopped by the local police and warned that the rear lights didn't work! I Then was told I had 179 miles with my rental and only got 159. So I got an additional charge when it was returned.

I could not access my unit after moving all day to put my belongings into the unit I bought and paid for went there to pack stuff away and it was completely blocked by uhaul trucks etc so I could not store stuff after paying to store stuff

I have had (2) storage units here in the past and this is my 3rd. They are safe and secure, very clean, and the climate is well controlled. It is also very convenient using the online check-in process to ensure my requested unit is available and makes the process very easy. The locker size unit was also much bigger than I was expecting, clean, and had the lock waiting inside for when I arrived. The staff is also very helpful when needed.

The only problem I had was, there was no access to my unit at night. I did not always have time during regular hours to go to my unit. Being a single mom with a disabled child, late night is the only time I have to go to my unit for anything. BUT.... other than that it was the BEST experience I have ever had with a storage unit. And trust me, I have had stuff stolen or damaged in others

Great place just wish prices where a little cheaper, or make a bundled deal. Cost me over $300 for a truck for 5hrs and a unit. Not complaining just wish there was a bundle deal is all. But highly recommended!! My cashier was AWSOME!!! I don't remember her name but I do remember on her walkie-talkie the name said Lash. She was so helpful and funny need more people like her!!

Different staff members give conflicting information when asked questions. Overall the customer service is good. I would recommend your staff members get a better understanding of your layout and process to ensure correct information is exchanged. It was apparent some of your representatives are fairly new hires who are lacking facility knowledge along with being dismissive which demonstrates a poor attitude towards their job.

the employees were a great help and very friendly. they understood my questions and answered them immediately. they even cleaned the windshield before i left the lot and one employee opened the plastic container for the lock since i don't have the hand strength to open it. thank you all for the great service and help

Very happy with my climate-controlled unit. My only complaint is that while the inside of the building is clean, the exterior grounds have been consistently full of litter and unsightly at points during our 3-year storage rental. Many a time I had to pick up broken items and screws from the parking lot to prevent running over when loading and unloading. Also, when I was cleaning out the unit, there appeared to be a homeless person wandering around the inside and parking lot.

Compared to my other storage unit where my things where my property was destroyed due to rodents and condemned by bugs, I can honestly say that I was able to take my things out of this storage facility unscathed! I was pleased with how clean my storage unit was and that my items were intact just as I left them there two years ago.

The only suggestion I have is I think they need to supply a better parking zone near the indoor entrance to the units. Too much space is surrounded by tow hitches & there is not enough spots available to customers loading & unloading equipment.

Chris is the sole reason I stayed with Uhaul and chose Uhaul to begin with. Chris has stayed with Uhaul for years, and I have stayed with Uhaul because of Chris, and my equal investment and trust in him, as the company had. I began with the company when Chris began at the location across the street. He has tremendous prudence. Admirable temperance. And above all else, he displayed tremendous tact. I have seen how dedicated he is, and when I make an agreement for services rendered/ payment provided, I want a guarantee. I want protection. I want service and I do not want to be treated as a number. Chris posseses all of the qualities one should seek in an employee, and I have watched him lose his motivation. I believe he us grossly underpaid, and equally undervalued. He will grow whatever space into a generational space, where money will stay because people stay with people. People with values stay with who they can trust. He is a great leader and a wonderful influence on the new generation like employees Michael and Sebastián, to name a few. Even the inspiring need inspiration. Please compensate a man who has given years of dedication, with honestly, little reward to reflect appreciation for a now seemingly extinct character trait- loyalty. God bless this location and your brand. Your company is judged by the company it keeps. And, without that company, you would not in turn be.. a company.

Overall no major issues but the parking lot was the biggest hassle. For such a large facility the parking should be bigger/better. It would be nice to have more carts to use as well. The biggest concern was my fee went up at least twice in less than two years. All said though I would recommend you with the disclaimer that the price is subject to change possibly more than once a year.

I have been renting a storage unit from U-Haul approximately for 10 years.. The rate of ur storage unit is extremely high.. If ur storage unit is late . The Fee is Extortion High.. I asked since.. I've been a customer for years.. if I could receive a Discount for a U-Haul truck & was told.. NO ..!! I Wasn't even offered a Free month.. That's Really Sad...

The people in this place are horrible and have no Customer service. I was told the the big door close at 5 so to bring my fridge ,dryer, couch's and washer before the door close .Arrived there 4:40.took every thing out my uhaul just had fridge and washer left .. It's 4:54 a employe come and say the door closes at 5 . i replied yes i know it 4:54 . Employee says well i'm closing it now . mean while i got my fridge and washer still in the truck.. Tells me to hurry up im closing these door now . instead say hey you need a hand or hey boss you got 5 min left .. as i'm being the washer in he tries to close the door . Point of this comment is learn how to speak to propel because i could of been having the worst day of my life and reacted different.. then the employee says i'm mad because he has to get a new fridge .. Better Customer service

Facility was never locked when I went in - never needed to use the card to swipe in. The bathroom in the building was not usable and looked not to have been cleaned in quite awhile. The storage unit itself had falling debris from the ceiling inside of it (insulation) and bugs. We have used this uhaul for the last 3 years and never had any of these issues before.

Jim/Jake/and one other were very friendly. Rented a particular size unit months in advance however after flying in from out of state to get the storage unit rental they apparently only had one unit (smaller size) available (not sure of why Uhaul accepts reservations if units cannot be available). Jim was very understanding and helpful to ensure my fee was not greater than my reserved unit/fee but I did need to return when he was working to inquire about the adjustment because apparently the unit I was placed in was on the lower level thus more expensive despite being a smaller unit. I've seen chats/reviews with uhaul having similar situations where unit reserved was not available upon clients arrival (bad business model if I'm being honest) Second issue was corporate did not have my unit area programmed thus for my 3 day window to move my students dorm stuff into storage I was getting access denied when swiping in after hours and to no fault of their own the local staff could not fix as it needed to be programmed by headquarters in Arizona (ironically where I live) Overall I made due and had to work around my students finals week daytime schedule to make multiple trips to uhaul vs being able to do it through after hours access (because of above access denied). Apparently this was the only unit with this problem in the building Again staff was great, unit was clean (did have a rat trap in it but I assume that's in all lower levels despite being indoors and in temperature controlled areas)? But the reservation business model/lack of contingency options for my not so unique situation I would have expected more from uhaul and honestly for the accommodations I (as the client) had to make just to make my situation work because of a uhaul issue. I appreciate the opportunity to voice my experience and hope it may have a positive impact for change for the next uhaul client that shows up to the desk in the same or similar situation. I have and have had several storage experiences in several states. This facility is the best in terms of cleanliness, affordability, and efficiency. A major plus for an older gentleman like me is the convenient location of a restroom in the storage areas. Thank you for providing such a great customer-friendly facility.

I was told when I opened the unit that my account would automatically draft payments because my payment info was on file. It didn't, I was charged a late fee. Additionally, I couldn't put the lock I was made to purchase on my unit because the door was so crooked.

This storage was good except my stuff got a bit of mold as if water got on it possibly from upstairs when they mopped the floors. Light filtered through one section and that's where I found the moldy substance. I left a message but never got an answer. I couldn't get there in person to talk to a live person about it. We now have a bigger one more money with what we found as ponds in front of it filled with water after rain. We can't get out without one of us stepping into part of it. How do we load, unload without getting wet? Then there's the people who take over the isle with their dirt bikes, truck and little girls walking and playing around the dirt without shoes in their pajamas. That needs to be corrected asap

I will have my unit for 5 years in May 2021. I do not have to worry about any damages, rodents, water damage etc. The building is very clean and well maintained. When there was a water leak, above my unit , it was fixed immediately. Great customer service Thank you.

Everything was great. You guys were such a big help! My only issue that I had was customer service. I had to quickly move for military reasons and I had to change my order a few times and it just seemed every time I called I was bothering this particular guy, he would even sign over the phone, kinda rude if you ask me but there was this one guy I can't remember his name I think he was Spanish, he was amazing such a great guy! The other one not so much. I give you 10 stars for everything else but 2 for customer service.

Staff members were all very rude to me. The only time they were nice was when I was signing up. Then told me I had to buy a special lock From them and when I was walking around a lot of lockers had regular locks. My card never worked when I told them they said the magnet strip wore out when I never used it. Hopefully this helps someone

I wasn't told that both keypads had to be used to enter that building and I had to go to other building to get help. Also had to come back with scissors to cut the zip tie on unit.

I reserved my unit over the phone very easily. When I drove to the location for the first time, check in was quick. Staff explained everything very well. I made three trips and was done.

Jim M (the manager of the Scranton, PA location) was extremely helpful and provided great customer service. There were three dead mice in my unit when I took my furniture out. The staff was polite however I explained that I needed a storage space to fit a 2 bedroom and what was going in it in detail. When i went to load the space it was extremely to small and the next day i had to go back pay addtl money and get a new space and was only given 2 addtl hours with the truck. I will most likely use a different storage company if needed again. Also the prices are entirely to high the only reason I kept it ia because of the pandemic where going through and the time I had didn't allow me to use another company.
