I was charged for the insurance even though I had said no. Additionally, I reserved 2 dollies and they didn't have one in stock so I had to drive the rental truck, which I pay milage on, across town to get the dolly at a different location. While I was at that location, they worked hard to correct the insurance that I was charged, but said it couldn't be done until it was returned... but I had to return the truck to their location, which was again out of my way and cost me extra miles again. I was thankful for the better customer service, but I shouldn't have been inconvenienced in the first place!

The customer service was outstanding, it was quick and highly efficient. The on-site employee represented U-Haul very well and he made the return process easy.

They did not have the equipment I reserved. I received a text message that they did not have the equipment I had reserved and when I got the pickup location they sent me to the wrong location 30 minutes in the opposite location. Then I had to call uhaul customer service to figure out what was going on. That took almost another hour. Then I returned to the original location in Sierra Vista and they made me wait til the employees got back from lunch and get a truck ready. The bad thing is I had movers waiting for me at the house that were already hired to load my house hold goods. By the time I got home I had to pay for two more hours. The employees told me that they would call and try to get me two more hours of labor, but I have yet to hear back from anyone. I have also called multiple times and I have not heard back from anyone.

Let me say that I have always used the U-haul on 7th and Fry. I have never had any issues with the location or employees. I had an appointment scheduled for Wed, June 3 for a tow package. I checked on-line to see how long one normally takes. 45 min to 1,5 hours. Ok. Great, I planned my day around that time frame. I get there at 7:15 for my 7:30 appt. There is only ONE person working. I apologized to him. He said no biggie, the GM had an emergency meeting in Tucson this morning, but he'd be ok. It was taking soooo loong, I was getting ready to write a review right then, but I noticed on my reservation confirmation (while I was at the location) that it confirmed me for Tue, Jun 2! I specifically selected Jun 3. My bad for not making sure the date was correct. I have a standing appt on Tues'. So I would not selected Tues. It auto populated for Tues, I changed it to Wed...Or so I thought. Now I felt worse for the young man doing my car, as apparently they did not know I was coming Wed. The job took until 11:15 am. 3,75 hours. Ok. The GM, Jarred showed up. He was SUPER friendly, apologetic, and gave me a $75 credit to my CC. Thank you Jarred! That was appreciated! Next, I go to Lowe's next to pick up my trailer. When the guys were helping me hitch it up, they asked me to look under the car. THE WIRES WERE HANGING ALL ALONG THE BOTTOM OF THE VEHICLE! The young man had hooked up the wires to the battery, dropped the wire to the ground and ran them underneath the vehicle. Then he poked them up through the trunk area, forcing them through two parts where they were tightly pinched inside my trunk. Then, in order to use the connector, I had to open the hatch, connect the wiring to the trailer, then close the hatch on the wires! WOW! I called the location describing the problem. The one that answered the phone got a little attitude, saying sometimes that's how it has to be done. I said I'll come back and show you. I decided to go to the new U-Haul center at the old K-Mart on Coronado and Fry. I just asked them to look at it to make sure it was not just me thinking it was wrong. He said "Jarred would have NEVER let this leave the store like this!" They contacted Jarred and told him the problem and said he'd be there when I got there. So, I went back to the original location. There was another guy there behind counter. Not Jarred, not the installer. Apparently, they called the original young man back to work to fix his work! I met him outside and showed him how the wires were pinched, and those under the car were just hanging there. Jarred was not there. After the young man brought my car out I looked in the back, yep, he had them attached to the tow bar assembly. Thank you! I stood at the driver door and looked under the car. No wires could be seen hanging. Great Job! Thank you gentlemen! It had been a long, hot and stressful day, but I finally headed home a happy and satisfied customer!! :-) The next morning I backe

I drove my truck from Sierra Vista AZ, and it Only drove 45-50 miles a hrs. Uphill was 25 to 30. It was the slowest truck on the road and should be retired!!!! At my final destination in Austin, we told the UHaul person about the problem. he stated that they have a speed limit. We replied another UHAL same size, with a tow. we're going 60 to 70 passing us up just fine?

Customer service was slow. Only one person assisting customers and they seemed confused which just took more time with each customer. We tired to explain that we had to go to different locations to load and needed additional allowed miles. Even though we told the original person assisting us in renting the truck, he said there should be enough allowed mileage, but there wasnt. Didnt seem fair.

I didn't reserve at this location. You CHANGED MY RESERVATION WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. I had not arranged transportation from my original reserved location to this location. Next time TELL PEOPLE THAT YOU CHANGED LOCATIONS ON THEM.

This was the best experience I've had with any Uhaul rental that I've had in the past. As fast as a McDonald's drive thru, and very polite, respectful, and efficient. In and out in no time, during this Covid-19 pandemic of social distancing, I didn't even have to get out of my vehicle. 5??????????'s????

Everyone was polite the only hassle I had was, I was told it had full tank employee pulled the van up to the door I look at the gas that was 3 quarts of a tank I immediately got out showed the employee he took a picture and said ok your good, I went my 5 miles out gas in it over the 3 quarter and returned it then got charged $8,5 for gas. So I returned it with more gas than when I left and got charged again for gas from uhaul. I called the store explained then transferred me explained again then she helped and took 3 days to get $8,5 back. But uhaul doesn't give money back for extra gas given. Not like that's the point here.
