Saniyyah HarrisFirst, I would like to mention that the staff members Steven, Kathy and Miguel were very nice even though there was a misunderstanding with the estimate and mileage situation with the trucks. Second, Uhaul does not have control over how clean people are but I feel like each truck that is brought back needs an EXTENSIVE DEEP CLEANING! And this is not to discourage anyone from renting a truck because again, UHAUL doesn't have control over other people being clean but there was a roach crawling in the truck before I even put items in there. It may not be as easy as it seems but every vehicle needs to be bombed before being released(my personal opinion). Other than that ny experience was good.

I arrived at above location at 10:05 a.m. for 10 AM pick up and did not receive my truck until 11:05 a.m. The rep then mentioned that I had to return the truck in 4 hours.. there was absolutely no consideration for the delay is issuing me the truck. 2. There being only one representative at the check out desk, offered the customer before me a truck dolly that they didn't reserve and when I began to check out, there was not one available for me to use which I reserved. 3. There was a truck dolly over to the left of the service desk and when I asked about using it, she informed me that it was for sale and not to rent.. 4. The truck was parked in between two other trucks and had to find an outside rep to remove it before taking possession of it.. in addition, the truck had excessive amount of water in the back storage area which made the furniture wet. Because the beginning of the month there's a demand for truck rentals, it would seem reasonable to have more representatives at the checkout counter.. Lastly, I entered all necessary information online prior to my pick up and the rep still ask me the same questions as the online service. The process was frustrating to no end. This location is poorly managed with substandard service in essence, this U-Haul needs an Overhaul!!
Derrick RobinsonAfter I finished the paperwork for the moving truck there were no keys handed to me and I was unaware of the location of the moving truck. The rep. that registered my information looked confused as to why I was asking for keys and the location of the moving truck . After the moving truck arrived the smell of cannibus was noticed immediately. Returning the truck was anything but ordinary. Saturday I received a text stating to return the equipment, when the equipment was retuned Friday night. Saturday morning I phoned and talked to Tanya a rep at Uhaul whom contacted the West oak Lane location and stated they would check the truck in. Monday morning I was charged for three days even after calling Saturday. Again I talked to a second rep. I was told a manager did not answer at this location and I would get a refund in 72 hours after the information is proven . How can a over charge happen after talking to a rep on Saturday and I remain being charged for three days for a truck used for one day with clarification? This location needs to present a better professional representation of Uhaul . Trust and believe me or my family will not use Uhaul moving trucks again. Signed Unsatisfied customer Halima Ervin
Halima ErvinThe truck had a low air warning for one of the tires and the check engine light was on. I didn't have any issues with the truck but I was moving local. If I was doing a highway move, I would not have felt comfortable taking that truck.
Nick WalkerI reserved a truck for a 7:30 am pick up using the 24/7 app. Uhaul did not assign a price of equipment to my reservation, but did not tell me until I started the pick up process via the app at the Uhaul location. I had to return to the pickup location at 9:00 am. It took 30 minutes to get a truck. In additional to my time, I paid two movers to wait 2 hours because of U-Haul's scheduling blunder.

Cheryl DavisMy experience at first was great as I was able to pick up my rental truck with no problems however, I was informed at the beginning that my bank card would be charged $64.45, and I was informed that this is an estimated amount and that the difference would be refunded to my card. Unfortunately, that was not the case, and U-Haul charged my card again another $50.00. Now, U-Haul has charged my card a total of $110 and I was told that the pending amount of $64,45 will be returned when my bank releases the hold. This is fraudulent and I do not understand why U-Haul staff does not explain this to customers in the beginning, this would help avoid any problems when a customer looks at their account wondering why they are missing money.
Bettina DallasIt was a very long process. The key was not located on the back of the truck like the app suggested. It was freezing cold and I was stuck trying to locate the key. Otherwise no problems.

Barbara A ViaudThe brake on the Auto transport I rented was faulty and not working. The resivor for the brake fuild was empty I added fuild and brake still didn't work. I end up not being about to use the transport and had to use a friend's trailer cause it was last minute and I had to pick up a car. I dropped the rental back @ the location. Called customer service, but was denied a refund by the store manager because he said I didn't call it into roadside for assistance. And also stated that the equipment was rented out earlier and their was no problem when someone else used it. Like i was lieing about the equipment. Ive always rented auto transport from U haul in the past and never had any issue. Needless to say, that will be the last time U haul will get my business.

Higher upset never handle the situation correctly. Instead they keep a balance on people units and made them still pay. They cut locks of and put there own lock on when they please I'm missing items. Also they put you name on other accounts and charge you money and you don't even have the unit.

Then MY FRIEND had to help a lady remove her stuff from the NEW UNiT was were assign! Once her stuff was out we moved out in. 3 days later I get a call asking if I had a UNIT there. I was told my lock was cut off & I had to come get a new key that they replaced with the one they cut. I'm confused on how y'all get my money but don't knw if I have a unit. I request my funds back & removed my belongings almost a week later & still no refund for this stupid unit $150 down the drain. No one in that location was helpful at all. Then do a new rental on the unit the other person originally had. The worker did the other shawty first. Then did mine. I noticed after the guy did my rental over. He didn't mention to the other shawty about being refunded for the first unit. Then charged again for the 2nd unit. LIKE HE HAD MENTIONED TO ME. The issue was resolved. I definitely wouldn't use that U-Haul place again.

sherri davis | Premières impressionsI had an absolutely flawless experience. I rented a truck and a large storage unit and was there on and off for two weeks visiting the storage unit. That was occasionally late at night, and I always felt secure. The whole outdoor space is lit up like daylight at night, and monitored. The units have a very loud alarm system that activates as soon as the the bolt on the doors is disengaged. The employees were better than good, always funny and friendly and extremely helpful. I also used their moving service. The two gentlemen who were sent out to me were so sweet and kind and lightened the mood on a very stressful day.

JANET GORDON | Expérience généraleI want to give a beyond the highest rating possible for the associaite Ms. Precious...My experience at this location has always been cordial and mostly comfortable...I have complained about the locations inability to put curtains or a visual barrier up to block the street traffic from viewing my unit and I when . entering to do work...This is a safety threat to me and anyone else that has a unit in that area...For almost a year I was unable to have the issue remedied or corrected...I have been asking for a new unit to accommodate or a barrier to block the visual field from street traffic...Ms. Precious remedied this on our 1st encounter...She secured me a new unit and ensures that my needs were met and accommodated...I was grateful and elated with Joy...I had considered using another company throughout the year but thanks to Ms. Precious this is no longer a consideration...This is why I want to thank Me. Kathleen Chandler | Premières impressionsit was the worst experience I ever had with everything that's going on in the world I could have put my items in storage and not have to worry I ask for a storage unit to fit the size truck that I wanted I rented a sixth a 17 foot truck and got a closet for a storage unit it was at least a two bedroom apartment size trucks and I got a car trunk for storage I don't understand in what universe that matched I could not get into the unit it was un locked that could not find the key granted it was just one person in the office I just wouldn't recommend anyone use this facility at this time
