Make the pick up process easier. The last two times that I I have rented a U-Haul truck the amount that I'm told is going to be charged to my card is different than the amount that they are attempting to charge my card. They are attempting to charge more but they tell me a lower amount. It's extremely frustrating ridiculous and unprofessional.

I've been using this location as the place for me to rent motorcycle trailers, which is part of my business, passion etc. Each and every time team members have been great. I have recommended using this location on my Facebook accounts, which I am a member of several motorcycle groups for us older folks here in Columbus, OH, and have written articles about the pros and cons of different trailers for towing small or larger bikes. So YES, I have recommended this location several times. Each team member needs to realize that they impact others in a positive way. All appreciated.

There was some confusion when I got the truck. After finishing my reservation the lady instructed us to wait and someone will pull our truck up. They did pull the truck but it was blocked from our view and no one came and let us know it was there for us, so we waited 10 mins longer than needed when you're crew was well prepared. Also, they mopped the truck bed and it was WET and the first piece of furniture we moved into the truck I slipped and bruised the back of my leg. Please do not give people wet truck beds knowing they are going in and out of them. Last - I did not pay for a dolly or pads, but those pieces were in the truck. Really annoying bc the dolly killed some of my truck space but I didn't want to unhook it because I figured I'd get charged.

First I went to U-Haul Moving & Storage 1314 E 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43219 and was not satisfied. The installation was not what I expected. I needed a 7 blade connection. He did not connect the power wire (black or red) to the power blade on the 7 blade connector as I requested several times. He insisted that the socket was connected properly. I had to pay him $70 I didn't think it was still working correctly. I took the tow vehicle to U-Haul on Morse Road who charged me another $138 to fix it. The Morse road U-Haul did a good job and fix the problem expeditiously. Although I was completely satisfied with their work, I'm still out $70 from my previous experience.

The guy that took the truck was rushing me because he needed to get the truck right back out. So with that being said he was not about to clean the truck. With Covid and everything going around I would expect every truck to be cleaned before going back out. He looked in the back, checked the gas and the truck went right back out. No I would not recommend this location and after seeing that I'm sure the Trotwood location didn't clean it either!!

I just truly felt like the time for me to store something as a senior citizen $94 is too much a month for a senior citizen to have to pay for a storage unit for anything you ought to have a senior citizens discount rate I think that's just ridiculous and crazy upset to how much it costs period it's too expensive I will personally never use you all again unless I absolutely have to if I have no other way to do anything they're not the only way

Lights never worked at all. Half the time the security box was down and couldn't get into my storage so I moved to Public storage paying $151 A month for A 10x20 instead or the $178 A month I was being charged for A 10x10 At Uhaul. Tried to rent a truck to move had a reservation for Aweek then come in to be told I was refused with no reason good thing I owned A pickup to move my stuff would not recommend again

I placed a call to customer service about returning the truck back to columbus where i picked it up and they assured me that it would not add any fees or change price of anything i had paid. But upon return it showed on receipt that my $100 deposit will not be returned EVEN THOUGH I had called and confirmed that i will still get that back and not charged extra. So with that being said i will not be a return customer to uhual with the way that was handled and taken.

My first initial visit was amazing the lady I spoke to was so nice and funny we laughed and I felt great spending my money and find. Too expensive. Outrageous dumpster fee. Mouse poop on everything. Habit of calling emergency contacts for things that are not an emergency (rent a few days late). Inflexibility with changing due dates. Will adamantly recommend against using if ever asked, or maybe even if not asked. Most but not all employees I interacted with had incredibly bad attitudes. Would take all my worldly possessions to the dump before I would ever use again.

The staff but one person showed interest in helping me I had just drive from Akron 2hours away with a trailer in my car on the back! Which I was nervous but glad I made it! The employees was on there phone's standing around talking amongst themselves when I finally found my unit I couldn't get the zip tie off and it's just me and my grandkids so the whole experience wasn't pleasant and this is my first impression of how ima be treated in Columbus! When I lived in TN, Uhaul employees were great, did not give a hard time everything was yes, I come here to OH and the employees sound and look miserable to even work here. Everything was I don't know, No, you have to talk to management when she's here. It was a terrible experience. I will not recommend this location. Either one or two employees with long lines. I wanted yo be in and out. The only good thing is the online access so you don't have to deal with them.

I found it very difficult to maneuver thru the online portal. There were too many occasions where I was not able to log into my account as it was not found. Calling into the office, I was often placed on hold for an extended time. Trying to move out was a nightmare as my account was not found and I couldn't do it on line. I had to call in, placed on hold and hung up. Called four times and was handled through the call center. My husband went to facility to talk to them and was told I was charged because I was renting a lock. Even if that were true, which it is not, I was charged 174,85 for my own lock that I brought back from NM. I DO SEE, IN RETROSPECT WHERE IT APPEARS THEY TRIED TO TAKE THE STICKER FROM THE PREVIOUS STORAGE OFF. THIS IS HOW I IDENTIFIED MY UNIT BY THE WAY. I WOULD NEVER USE THEIR STORAGE FACILITIES AGAIN.

I had to go to New York on an emergency on Friday and my sister dropped off my furniture. I was not aware of where the storage room was stationed. I was charged for a dolly i never received in my truck. I want my refund. I will be back in Columbus on Sunday and will stop by the Uhaul building

My experience with uhaul has been as negative as any bmv or utility company I have ever dealt with. MANY MANY hours on hold to fix mistakes made by uhaul. After many hours of calls and an e-mail confirmation of a storage unit reserved, somehow it was lost with no sign of it ever being made. Left me with a smaller unit at an inconvenient location. Horrible customer experience.

At first it was nice and convenient since it was right down the street. But after awhile they kept bumping up the monthly price which wasn't cool at all to me. Never again will I use uhaul for any storage needs.

the women that worked there had NASTY ATTITUDES, and i didnt appreciate that. i drove 15 hours and had to go to three uhaul places because i was misdirected. when i got there i was frustrated and tired and the lady got an attitude with me and was rude beyond belief and kept rolling her eyes. i have never experienced this EVER. i will not refer nobody to this location because these racist white ladies did not represent uhaul the right way and i cant wait to move to get my things out the storage id rather go to the parsons location.

The facilities were in great condition, HOWEVER, I made a reservation a week in advance for a truck and storage unit for my mothers belongings, however when I got there and provided a reservation number the clerk told me she didn't show that and not sure why and how someone scheduled that unit because she can't find it! My mother has medical issues and this situation put me and her in a bad position. The clerk found a smaller unit (saying it was their only unit left) which put us in a different position as we couldn't store ALL of mom's belongings! I didn't have options as the movers were on the way so I had to accept and unfortunately, mom lost a couple of items because of this UHAUL SNAFU! I'm extremely disappointed and have lost money on items mom had to give away

My only complaint is the storage building and the storage area smelled terrible, like burnt tires or something. I'm hoping the smell doesn't transfer to my belongings in the storage area.

The storage was smaller than I anticipated and had holes in ceiling. I secured the storage unit on-line. I wasn't sure of how to access the area and the instructions listed were not clear enough for me. I would have asked someone at the counter, but there were always several people in line to be waited on so I talked to employees outside and they were very helpful. My problems were with the fact that there were no instructions on-line to help me access the compound.

The new clerk was very friendly and patient. She was still getting used to workings of the computer. My only complaint was that I did not have a storage assignment when I came in. I talked with Chris the day before on the phone and thought that it would be already taken care of.

Terrible! when moving state to state it was a nightmare from beginning to end! I was unable to get my car on the trailer hooked up to Uhaul took 2 weeks reimbursement! Was locked out storage unit!!

Was told my reservation was for a different location despite my email confirmation saying otherwise. I was quoted 79 online, the board in the store said 69, but I was charged 99!!!!

Very bad experience. First ruck picked up had to return, faulty transmission, filthy. 2nd truck dead battery, had to jump every time to start. Was on tight schedule, wasted hours. No more Uhauls! BAD!

My storage was broken into, and so was multiple other storage units. It seems like a inside job. 1 time I arrived to the front gate of the storage facility, and there were people who didn't have code.

I dont like the fact that I paid my storage and rent was good till January 21st 2019 and I moved my stuff out of storage on December 27th and was told I was out the cost of the unit. Why not prorate?

This experience was horrible. The fork lift broke the day I was supposed to move in, and I was on the phone for over 2 hours trying to manage this issue. The staff were unhelpful and dismissive.

We did not like that it cost extra to have 24 hour access to our unit. Even though I went in and closed my account, I was still sent an invoice and had to call to make sure it was taken care of.
