I paid for it but i wasn't able to activate it because I didnt check my phone before I left the U-Haul store
tyler hayesyour online finalizing at the vehicle does not connect and twice now I have left without complete ing the review of the vehicle. As a customer this is a very important step but unless you can get your internet connection to work it is a waste of valuable time.

TERRY WHEATReturned truck to agreed upon location.The location informed me they were not set up for drop offs. They told me where to deliver the truck, which was just down the road. The nice man helped me and got the truck checked in, even though I got a text while driving, trying to bounce me to another city. I didn't get this text until I was at the other location. Someone needs to tell the regional manager to pull his head out and know what he's doing. It's not cool to try and bounce a customer around after they have fulfilled what's stated on the contract. This is typical of corporate America. Your people manning the desks were fine, this was not their fault. Merci.

Mel BrinkI rented the truck, after driving it for 2 miles, having the hazard lights in for 20 minutes the batteries dies. I then, had to wait a hour and a half for U-Haul roadside assistance. I would recommend on checking your rentals very regularly to prevent that from happening to someone else.

Robert BarquetI scheduled an 8' pickup truck for pickup at 8:30 on the morning of Feb 4thbut when I arrived to pickup my truck I was told I had to come back at 9:00 when The store opened to get the truck. This put me significantly behind schedule but I went back at 9:00 and inquiring as to why I was told that the website might allow me to set up a truck share but there cannot rent out pickup trucks like that....if that's the case, why does the website allow it.

Trailer had one marker light out, interior drivers front tie down was missing and the wall tie downs were loose in the same area and had been repaired by what looked like construction adhesive. It ended up being ok but was hauling glass so I needed good strong places to tie to.

Then told they could " upgrade you free of charge to a larger trailer. But at a different location!" Wow they weren't going to upcharge me for not having the reserved and confirmed equipment at the confirmed location. Everyone was polite enough but what a mess for a reserved trailer.

April Cawley$26 fee for 1/8 difference in a gas tank is ridiculous.
Constance YunkerI received the truck with a little under a qtr tank, which I was compensated $8 for. However, I over estimated the gas I would need and ended up returning the truck with a half of a tank. A qtr more than required. But there was absolutely zero compensation for that. Had I been under a qtr tank I would've been charged a substantial amount per gallon to fill it up. The least that could be done is a small compensation for returning with extra gas. How do you expect people to just guess how much gas they will need? Why not give the truck with a full tank and then have it returned with a full tank? I had to guess how much I would need, or, only put in a small amount, then get charged extra mileage every time I need to go find a gas station to get more. So unless I guess right the first time in how much i'll need, it is a lose lose situation for the customer. For that reason alone I will not recommend u-haul. I think that is ridiculous. Going forward I'm confident I will use, and recommend, somewhere like Penske who give you a full truck and expects a full truck back. None of this guessing wishing and hoping just to end up losing a fair amount of money on the ordeal. Not to mention they have a cheaper mileage rate. The only reason I went with U-haul was because they had moving blankets for rent. Of which I only used 7 of my 24 blankets, but was still charged for the entire 2 dozen even though 1 dozen of them was never even opened. In hindsight, I feel I made the wrong decision. With future moves/jobs I will be looking towards a different rental company.

The truck had a bad gas tank, issues with all 4 techs that were sent out. including the tow truck that damaged my driveway at my property. Definitely will not be recommending to anyone.

Single mom of 4 boys, I found a job in Seattle area and had to relocate. I had payment arrangements set up. To make a payment, I had to send cash to a friend in Yakima cause UHAUL wouldn't take my debit card over the internet or through phone (yes it was a legitimate debit card). My friend couldn't do that forever and it was too far for me to drive to make payments. Once again, lost my job again cause of Covid, and couldn't afford to pay it or anything for that matter. I asked for a move out special and it was outrageous so I couldn't do it. Lost my whole storage, memories from my boys when they were babies, etc. Lesson learned. I'll never go through them again if I ever need a storage. Payment method options are extremely limited and the staff are not helpful or friendly..

I didn't move out from this facility they stole my belongings from me and sold them. My mother passed away on February 10th 2023 and they either sold my unit or emptied my unit while I was trying to setup and make funeral arrangements for my mother. The manager there Jermyne knew about the loss of my mother and took it as an opportunity to make some money on the side.

When you call and reserve a certain size storage unit, call several times to make sure it's still reserved then go down to sign the lease just to get told they sold it out from under you. CORINNE BENNETT | Expérience généraleHorrible the employee screwed up my truck rental and now I’m not able to move until Sunday and Monday and I’m supposed to be moved out but Saturday afternoon to my new home over three hours away now there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it but rent a hotel for two nights and wait to move until Monday all because I was charged for an extra large box truck when I thought I paid for a small pick up truck so not only did I pay for a truck I did not need which was conveniently at the storage I’m renting but now Iv got to pay for extra mileage to return the new rental miles away across town , not to mention I did not find out until after hours so I can’t do anything about since there closed now and completely booked out of pick up trucks and vans which are all I can safely drive the nearest rental it’s a 45 min drive from my house thanks uhaul for nothing now I moving day consists of rushing to load and unload an entire house hold by myself with my toddler and than drive three hours to unpack at my new house

DEBRA JIM | Premières impressionsI had initially reserved a 10'x15'x12' Drive Up storage unit under reservation # 703024-00107238 effective November 28, 2021. During the check-in process yesterday afternoon, I was told my unit was not available in size and convenience in terms of being able to drive up to it to unload my personal belongings. I requested this specific size and "drive up" convenience because of the number of boxes as I am relocating from another state, and inability to carry so many boxes back and forth due to a medical condition, but I did not realize I had to justify my request for a "drive up" unit. I am still bothered that my reservation was not honored and instead a huge inconvenience was imposed on me which I do not appreciate. I anticipate using your facilities for a period not to exceed 60 days, and when the time comes to retrieve my items, I request that manpower be made available from U-Haul to load everything onto another U-Haul truck at no cost to me for the manpower and rental of truck for the inconvenience. If you feel my request is above your ability to authorize, than I request you escalate this complaint to someone that will appreciate my business, honor my request, and make me whole. I have a very untraditional lifestyle which means I'll need to access my unit during untraditional hours, but I guess I can't because it's only for businesses. I think that's what the guy said. Anyway, thanks for being there when the need was dire, but I'd really like to access my possessions when I need to retrieve them. Maybe living in a 24/7 city screwed up my idea of "normal business" before 2020 did, haha. On the contrary- I had to switch to a bigger unit because the 5x5 was wicked small and I would have had to stack my boxes like a crazy person, so whoever the chick was who was there that Saturday helped me switch my unit that very moment without complication (at least on my end, I assume it was just as smooth on the other end, hopefully). I just moved back from Vegas and the amount of time you waste just waiting for the other end of any deal could make or break your existence there. It broke me for sure, so the quick business I've experienced with this u-haul location has been fantastic. And I REALLY appreciate how clean it is.

I can't believe they employ such an A-hole who thinks he is better than everyone cause he is the general manager. Nxxk is also a liar and won't admit to his mistakes. Before he was there U-haul was 100 % the best in town. Now with employees like him i would rather sell all my stuff instead of dealing with him ever again. So sad U-haul has given a title to a non-deserving lieing no good person. My brother also rented a truck and before i told him my issues he stated did you deal with a big guy that is the general manager Nxxk? I said yes why? He said that guy is a real a-hole. So that tells you his charecter. I will never use U-haul again as long as they have that guy around and makesure everyone i know doesn't either.
