Es untrabajo que deben hacer los empleados y se supone que pagan por ellos... No entiendo como si rentan la traila... Por cierto, el App es una basura... No abre, no responde y es más lentaaaa... Tengo años usando la compañÃa y jamas me e quejado. Me han cobrado doble. El seguro no me a dado el servicio e tenido que viajar sin luces porque no me atendieron... etc. Pero lo que si me molesta es la mentada cuota por hacer el trabajo de sus empleados... No abusen. Aparte 20 dolares... Es francamente un robo al cliente.

One girl thought she hung up, and proceeded to mock me about an issue I had. The I tried to call four times to be put on hold. The last time, the guy mumbled and than told me to hold. I also drove with a friend from San Antonio, TX to storage in Brownsville, TX (a total of 5,5 hours, and 5,5 hours back). The manager wasn't helpful at all, and none of the employees cared about the drive the day before when I checked at the location the day before to verify the ubox appointment. I get that Corporate wants to believe in their management, but this is a bad egg. *I also left a bad review and noticed this place (deservingly) got one star reviews. Later i noticed more five star reviews after my bad review. It was obvious the manager planted that.
Jordan A.The only thing I would suggest is for the person signing you in to tell you it is very important to watch for an email that confirms the condition of the rental unit when you pick it up. Mine didn't, and because we were packing it up I didn't see the email until late that night. I called the number suggested and was told it was too late to confirm. This unit had a pretty big dent in the fender and i worried all the way to my destination that I would be held responsible. Fortunately I wasn't, but it would have been nice to know. Otherwise everything was excellent. Thank you and I will definitely refer pickup and drop off locations to my friends

When the staff sees you walking up to the counter, they don't make eye contact, greet you or anything. Instead they simply walk away as one female did during my return of a vehicle. Then they make you return your vehicle using the app advising if you don't they will charge you $20 to do it which is complete lack of customer service nor have I had to do this at any of the other locations I've rented from in Texas or otherwise. I guess this is what service looks like today....very sad

Ruvy G.I sent my uncle to pick up my things from the U-Haul container, as I cannot travel to the USA at this moment. I called the location to ask if there was something to do before collecting the items. They said that everything was okay. As an extra confirmation, I called them the day before four times (morning and afternoon) and they did not pick up the phone. When my uncle arrived there, we were informed that we should have requested access to my U-Haul container 24h in advance. So, my uncle had to spend an extra night for which I covered the costs. Therefore, the service at that facility is not efficient nor informative.

Luis S.I made the store aware that the safety pin recepticle was "wallered out" and unsafe due to the jack stand not being stable when I returned the U-box. Earlier, it had collapsed in my driveway whereupon I called support who informed me that it would cost me $300 to have onsite assistance. I jacked the tongue up myself and discovered the issue, then reported it to support who dispatched a service provider. The provider determined that I had not inserted the safety pin in correctly, causing the collapse, however, he did note the damaged recepticle which could not be remedied at that time.

David P.We were from out of state, rented a transit connect. Pick up time was 1:30. Van was late getting back, we waited one hour total for it to arrive. The only other option to rent was 24 and 30 foot trucks, way to big for what we needed. The employees were fine just set us back. When I dropped off the van I was charged 15 for gas even though I filled it up to the amount we received it in. I drove 90 miles, added 4 gallons to fill it back to 3/4 tank. This van get maybe 24 city unloaded and never hauled anything. So 4 gallons was what I used. I'm just tired of being charged fees when I follow the guidelines. IDK it's a damn uhaul who cares.

maria m. | Expérience généraleThe customer service was great no problems whatsoever. My main issues was with the actual truck. The truck had many scratches and dings that wasn't even recorded. The seat belt top part from the drivers side was damaged but the worse thing about the truck was actually the steering wheel. That thing needed an alignment so bad it was very loose and wabaly. In order to drive straight you had to almost turn the steering wheel to a 90° angle. Overall you would think they'd be concern on the quality of the trucks they rent out but it seems not.

I also called to verify time just in case and was told by u-haul representative that answered the phone that I would have access to move in my property until 10 pm. Upon arrival of the facility, there was a sign on the door which stated the facility was closed and I was not able to move in my belongings. Time and effort was wasted to gather my items to take in. Additionally, I had to rent an additional garage storage to ensure my items were not damaged by weather outcome which caused additional expenses incurred. I called the number provided and The manager was messaged and called and she did not answer nor respond. Today upon revisiting the facility, the manager was informed of the situation and had poor customer service regarding the issue. The owner got involved and was very helpful. She offered to refund our first month deposit which was helpful to compensate additional expenses previously stated. My husband and I were very displeased with the whole situation.

I had reserved and paid for storage area at the U haul facility on Boca Chica and Paredes Ln Rd. for a period of approx. 6 months having paid in advance. I am currently out of state. On Mar 18th my tech went to check on my 2015 Forest River RV, to discover that the catalytic converter had been removed. I spoke to the Asst Mgr. Markos Cruz. I called Mr Cruz who was very attentive and receptive to my dilemma and was apologetic about the incident. I removed my vehicle from the premise on the same date fearing for additional damages. Mr. Cruz advised me he would call the GM J. Guerra. I called Ms Guerra on two occasions,she did not bother to take the initiative to call me or return my calls. I am appalled that a professional at that level does not have the decency to return customer calls, especially since she knew of the damages to my vehicle. They were in excess of 900 for the part stolen. In addition, I understand that some other persons reported the same kind of damage. I called the police and a report was filed to which no response has been noted. I finally spoke to MS Guerra on Mar 25 as she happened to be at the facility. All she told me was that it was up to me and my insurance to resolve the issue and was sorry about the damages, although upon my encumbering the location I was never provided a copy of the guidelines and rules for the facility. Thereby not allowing me the opportunity or option to make a valid decision. After having discussions with the GM and Asst. Mgr. I would say that the Asst Mgr has a better grasp and ability to deal with these types of situations that come about, more people oriented and compassionate about people's situations. In my estimation and having been a high school principal I believe Mr Cruz deserves a mgmt position. Since the removal of my vehicle from your facility, the tech has discovered that while at the facility my vehicle has other damages including the removal of the control module, which manages the automatic leveling system. This part is currently priced at $551,00 plus installation. In conclusion, I had paid the facility rate from Feb to July, however on the reimbursement document the month of April was not reimbursed.......If possible, please respond to this complaint at your earliest convenience.......Thank you

I showed up early on the morning of the 12th as noted on my reservation. I specifically needed the 8 foot wide unit to get a large sofa in the back along with another sofa i would flip on top of that 1st one. Despite having reserved a unit i was told they gave it to someone else....unbelievable that after having a reservation and relocating all the way from Dallas that you would give away my unit? I commend the staff for trying their best after being put in a bad spot having to tell me that the unit supposedly reserved to me was gone and no 8×10 units available. After several minutes of trying to find a solution as there are no other temp controlled places close bye the staff recommended two 5×10 units. Although not what i reserved and made me have to buy another lock and take care of two units it ultimately worked. I would ask that after the 1st month free the manager honor my original price of $89 per month which was reserved.

One person says another and customer service also says one thing, but the manager since she's the manager says everyone is wrong besides her even though the agent at the store and the agent on the customer service line say the same. Well then train them better. Discourteous attitude and on top of it all talking over the customer very rude unprofessional manager.

Twice we had no carts to move our boxes and the employees at the desk answer was "customers Don't bring them back and that, the fact that we don't get one cart to transport out belongings will teach people to learn not to still them. That made us realize that they were not ready to help customers in all we their needs. We did not see a friendly face, smile, a welcome to the store etc etc.

I made sure to call the next morning on September 14 at 9:59 am and was told a message was going to be sent to make sure it wasn't done. Showed up today and was told that my storage unit was moved out and would have to rent again.

I had to unload my furniture in someone else's house because I had to leave my old apartment and leave out of town at the same time. Terrible experience. Lack of knowledge and consideration.

When I went to rent my truck and storage space in the morning, the employee who helped me was very professional, polite and helpful. However, when I returned a few hours later to unload the truck there were two younger men on staff and while neither one was particularly pleasing to work with, there was one who was extremely rude and unfortunately, this is the second time I've had this experience with this same employee. I had gone in a week or so earlier to inquire about pricing and this same young man was very impolite. It's unfortunate really because if not for this one employee I would've had much better things to say about this UHaul location.

The second is I rented the storage space and then I got the uhaul to move my stuff. The place where I rented it said I would get my first month free with you. When I called I was told I had to rent the uhaul and then the storage space which makes no sense. I asked if I could discuss it with the manager. They took my information and I never heard back. I'm big on customer service and it was lacking here.

I usually don't make comments, however this time it was a pathetic display of business practices. I reserved a drive-up storage Unit. The employee acknowledged the reservation and charged my card. When we went to the unit, there was a lock on the door. He said he would be right back. When he returned he said "my manager said it's rented out. I asked what does a reservation mean? He said I can call another place to see if anything is available. I said as long as it is another U-Haul. He said it was. When I got there, it wasn't. Due to my time restraint I had to use that establishment. The same size unit cost 30 dollars more. I need to rent a truck on the 19th to move to Florida, I will now rent a Ryder because of this unprofessional dealings. This manager should be put back to being a truck washer, keeping away from having contact with any customers.

The person attending me must've been a new employee because he spent about 5 minutes looking for an existing reservation before he gave in and began a new one. I had already paid for my first month (aside from the free one) & all I needed was the key to the storage unit. He spent another 10-15 minutes on this before he tried searching for my reservation again. This time, he found it. He gave me my key, provided me with my receipt, & we went straight to the unit. Unit had dirt and small debris & when I asked if it could be cleaned out the employee said, that's how they are. Also, the address on all my paperwork is wrong. I provided my address about 4 times & it somehow wasn't recorded correctly. I called the office after this & spoke with the same guy. He said he'd correct it & update it online. So far, it hasn't been. I've worked with U-Haul for years - this is the crappiest customer service I've experienced. Ever.
