Hire more help. The nice gentleman who helped us with our rental was working alone on a saturday morning and swamped with work and customers.

We specifically talked about and asked for the closest Cedar Rapids uHaul, when we unloaded and were ready to return, we noticed he had booked us for a round trip.Thid made my three hour drive into a six hour one, wasting my entire day. I don't understand why it's impossible to simply change the location of dropoff. I will be telling everyone I know to never come to this location

Kristen L.it went smoothly, the truck worked fine. only complaint is that he indicated the gas guage was higher than it actually was, so i had to pay extra in gas to not get fined. maybe i could have gone back and showed him, but moving day was so hectic I didn't have the bandwidth for that, and it just felt shady and frustrating.
Kyle R.The gas was below full when we picked the truck up so we had to fill it up when bringing it back. Also, renting the furniture blankets for 10$ is a rip off. I thought they were bought...not returning them costs 96$?! Such a needlessly stressful experience and won't be using uhaul again for my upcoming move. Half the employees couldn't help when we returned those stupid blankets and came came out of pocket for someone else not filling the tank before us. Didn't even get a credit as a oops we didn't make sure the tank was full. Not worth the bother of renting from here.

STEPHEN B.I stropped in and made my reservation a few days earlier. The guy reserved the wrong truck even after I corrected him. The parking lot was iced over and nobody was interested in salting it. It was the extremely slick wet clear ice that you can't stand up on. I waited far to long to be waited on when I arrived. I chatted with other people in line, one who was renting everyday because his work truck had an insurance claim. He said it was the same deal everyday. Either speed up the process or get more employees.
JOHN D.9am reservation, they USED TO have the rental trucks in cold weather, started and warming up…..NOPE, and it was -5°, WTH? First truck had to be put in the garage, it wouldn't stay running…….it would have if the employees had it warming up. That is why I reserved 9am, not just as they open. This isn't my first rodeo 2nd vehicle stuck in a drift Got to our house, loaded and truck is DEAD. Keys on the dash, so I know it wasn't left on, called them, instructed to call UHaul Assistance…….YOU call em…..WHO's PAYIN WHO?? I had to jump it Transmission went south on it Had to call UHaul Assistance again, this time I had to abandon the PoS It had to be towed I cannot have faith in UHaul anymore

David L.The truck we had was in horrible condition. There were a lot of dents dings and large scratches on the exterior it looked terrible. The cab inside was filthy, the dash had not been wiped down for a long, long time, the drivers seat was all tore up, the steering wheel was gross. It was the worst rental I have ever had. On the good side the truck did run fine even though it had over 129K miles on it.
