While the installation and quick and the employees friendly and helpful, I expected the existing wiring harness to be removed and replaced. It is not too big a deal but I would have preferred removal.

Lesson learned, but I'll also be avoiding this location in the future.

DAVID R.First vehicle did not start, second had lots of ice on it with no ice scraper available. I was not told the correct day or time I was to return the vehicle, nor the correct time the drop off location was open, nor was I told that I had a set mileage I was allowed to go. I was just given keys and sent on my way only to accrue fees because of things I was unaware of. If I can only make one trip in a vehicle, that should be explained. If the drop off is "Anytime from 12- 3 on Sunday" it should not actually be either by 3 Saturday or 8am sharp on Sunday. And for the love of god buy an ice scrapper, having someone who just got dropped off there need to clean it off with their hands is ridiculous!

ANGELA K.I started renting from Uhaul in 1987. Have been a customer ever since, and it seems I've had better and better experiences with the customer service and equipment. The Uhaul location in North Boulder Colorado was definitely the biggest letdown I've ever had with Uhaul. From the moment that I arrived, and the representative pointed at the blankets and said “go ahead and throw these in the backâ€. Then, the equipment was filthy, the windshield was covered in snow and ice, They didn't bother cleaning it off, I had to find the scraper in the back of the truck, and brush it off myself before I left the facility. When I return the truck, early, to get a soft riding truck for the second trip, I transferred the blankets that I had used to the new truck. The new program of charging for blanket, rental, and charging to fold. The blankets up, was tough to swallow. They charge me to fold the blankets twice, even though I use the same blankets. When I emailed the facility, the manager, who clearly didn't have a great handle on the English language, emailed me back , in the least professional manner I've ever experienced. The facility in North Boulder, clearly has some management problems, and I'm sure that Uhaul is aware of them, because my experience can't be the first. If you can rent from anywhere else, in Boulder, or better, the surrounding areas, I would definitely suggest it. The Uhaul in North Boulder is not a place that I would do business with again.

I also realized later in looking at my receipt that he crammed a fuel charge onto my bill after I refuled prior to returning the van to exactly where it was when I picked it up! I've filed a complaint and a dispute, and will never rent from this location again as long as I know he's employed there.

Frederick G.I rented a car carrier but the Left and Right turn signals didn't work...the Brake Lights didn't work. Had an interaction with Summit County Sherrif's deputies and had to talk myself out of a ticket. Became an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE with not having functional lights on the trailer to try to find alternate help to get car loaded and moved since this was not safe or legal to carry a car. Only the Hazard lights worked. When I returned the trailer the manager (employee) that was there became very abusive, rude, and snotty. He wouldn't let me show him the brake lights, left and right turn signals didn't work. He became very passive aggressive when I suggested that as a "best practice" the Trailer should have had its lights functionality "checked" before renting to a customer. This manager became VERY abusive. He said I shouldn't tell him "how to manage his employees." I said I'm not telling you how to manage your employees but this created a nightmare scenario for me, the customer, since when I checked it out we didn't verify the lights worked. Only the Hazards, he said his employee "had worked there over a year" and he trusted him, and not me (saying I was lying). I asked him if the lights magically stopped working between yesterday and today. He became more abusive, snotty, and passive aggressive to the point I pulled out my phone and started recording him...at which point he immediately stopped with the attitude/abuse. This was absolutely uncalled for. I seriously doubt I'm the first customer to be treated this way.
