Nicolas BayouThe person checking us out was clueless, acted like it was a bother that we were customers and didn't say a word unless we asked him a question. Didn't explain anything! And when I asked about after hours drop off he said it was easy! Just scan a QR code and drop the keys. It took over 20 minutes to load the app, go though and take all the pictures, answer all the questions on my phone etc. a real pain!!!

Todd UlrichAbsolutely disappointing service. Txt to review rental/ claims didn't work. Had a subpar rental and was charged for damage that was not incurred by me. Employee was rude and unhelpful. Just looking to make a profit off damaged incurred by then. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN
Jared ZaroThe first van I was given was leaking fluid. So, I had to return it for one that wasn't broken. That required me to unload everything I had loaded into the original, and then load the new van. But, they were good at finding a replacement, and that one was fine.

Adjei AbankwahBe sure to complete the equipment condition verification. I was charged for damage which did not occur during my rental period. Unfortunately, the link to verify condition went to my spam inbox and I didn't see it until after the vehicle had been returned and damage had been reported -- so no way to prove my dispute was valid. Lesson learned, but I'll also be avoiding this location in the future.

But, when it became obvious that this particular vehicle was not going anywhere, they dug a different van out of the snow and got me on my way quickly. I really appreciate the extra effort.

DAVID REDENFirst vehicle did not start, second had lots of ice on it with no ice scraper available. I was not told the correct day or time I was to return the vehicle, nor the correct time the drop off location was open, nor was I told that I had a set mileage I was allowed to go. I was just given keys and sent on my way only to accrue fees because of things I was unaware of. If I can only make one trip in a vehicle, that should be explained. If the drop off is "Anytime from 12- 3 on Sunday" it should not actually be either by 3 Saturday or 8am sharp on Sunday. And for the love of god buy an ice scrapper, having someone who just got dropped off there need to clean it off with their hands is ridiculous!

ANGELA KUEHLI started renting from Uhaul in 1987. Have been a customer ever since, and it seems I've had better and better experiences with the customer service and equipment. The Uhaul location in North Boulder Colorado was definitely the biggest letdown I've ever had with Uhaul. From the moment that I arrived, and the representative pointed at the blankets and said "go ahead and throw these in the back". Then, the equipment was filthy, the windshield was covered in snow and ice, They didn't bother cleaning it off, I had to find the scraper in the back of the truck, and brush it off myself before I left the facility. When I return the truck, early, to get a soft riding truck for the second trip, I transferred the blankets that I had used to the new truck. The new program of charging for blanket, rental, and charging to fold. The blankets up, was tough to swallow. They charge me to fold the blankets twice, even though I use the same blankets. When I emailed the facility, the manager, who clearly didn't have a great handle on the English language, emailed me back , in the least professional manner I've ever experienced. The facility in North Boulder, clearly has some management problems, and I'm sure that Uhaul is aware of them, because my experience can't be the first. If you can rent from anywhere else, in Boulder, or better, the surrounding areas, I would definitely suggest it. The Uhaul in North Boulder is not a place that I would do business with again.

Donald ComptonCheck the equipment. I broke down because a hose made contact with the fan, rupturing it, and causing all the antifreeze to leak out. Repair man in Iowa saved me! HE was prompt, kind, & caring.
Sharon KentI was charged $100 for having some dirt on the floorboards. It took them no time at all to clean it, the charges felt punitive and completely unfair. When I went back to the location to ask why they charged so much, both the associate and store manager were very rude.

Joseph SchoeberleinI had reserved online but the manager met me outside to say that they had shut down all rentals for the day since his storage containers were being picked up. At first he said I had to call customer service and figure out where to get a rental on my own. I asked if I could have the trailer that was not being blocked by the semis picking up the containers and he allowed me to take that one. Glad I didn't have to find a new rental somewhere else
Erik UnruhRent the truck for a day! I picked it up on Thursday at 6:17pm and returned it on Friday at 6:43pm and for 26 minutes I left it late they were charging me an extra day's rent.
Eduardo GarciaHave a louder notification system for when customers enter the building, as it's not clear when employees are in the back or outside in the yard, and the front showroom is empty. When the air compressor is running, it's likely impossible to hear the current chime while in the back.

dillon deanThe manager, "Willie", added additional insurance to my rental bill without asking or giving any notification. I have auto insurance which I've always used in the past with U-haul, and would have used that. He refused to refund it and went on to say that he adds it to every contract - this is incredibly shady and unethical. I also realized later in looking at my receipt that he crammed a fuel charge onto my bill after I refuled prior to returning the van to exactly where it was when I picked it up! I've filed a complaint and a dispute, and will never rent from this location again as long as I know he's employed there.
