The movers, Ishi and the other one from BBT Movers were great. They were quick and careful. Took direction well wihout any attitude. Which is a nice change. There are a lot of movers so down on women and don't hesitate to say so. Ishi was great. Thanks for making moving this couch pleasant.
Stephanie B.Saturday morning was slammed with pick ups and drop offs. 45 minute experience due to understaffing. Not acceptable but not the staffs fault. They worked well and efficiently under extreme pressure. Van served its purpose but the floor mats were dirty and it needed a vacuuming in the back. Suspect you were doing quick turn arounds with no vehicle maintenance.

Bradley V.After hour dropp off was very confusing. Instruction available asked to download the uhaul app, but what happened was using the app was impossible to dropp off the vehicle. What is the problem, I don't know, but I couldn't find anything in regards to dropping off the vehicle. It seems that I had to have the app prior to renting the vehicle. As a result I spent over 45 minutes in the dark in the cold trying to figure out but no luck. I finally remembered I used the website few years ago to do so. That way worked very quickly. This was a major inconvenience.

Online booking experience was also good and I was pleasantly surprised to be offered all the different options; the furniture pads that I rented were very helpful, and though I didn't need movers or storage I still appreciated the offer.
Victoria A.Pleasant customer service. However, fee quote was inaccurate. Actual fee was almost double the fee initially quoted. The company has "fine print" in its contract and charges $20 extra for extra hour dropoff. This was not disclosed to me and seems ridiculous in any event.
David K.The parking situation is bad. Either get a lot for people to park their cars, or make it very clear that there is no parking onsite. There is no street parking in the area, so it doesn't make sense to tell customers “please find street parking.†This is my main complaint.

ESMAIL S.40-minute wait to pick up the truck because UHaul accepted too few employees for too many deliveries. The afternoon before my pickup, I was informed by a call center agent who was anything but trained that my scheduled pickup location had been changed by UHaul without giving a reason. As a result, I had to rearrange movers and my appointments. The truck had >100k miles on it and was outdated. Overall, a really poor customer experience.

When I refilled I spent about $15 which was more than it needed as I only used the truck for 7 miles all around. Company needs to check each customer's gasoline fuel up receipt to confirm that they filled the gas tank to the top.

Roger C.I only have great things to say about both the Kirkland, WA U-Haul and the Phoenix, AZ Shadow mountain. Super friendly and helpful staff, trucks are in good condition and clean. I've driven 10', 15' and 26' trucks between AZ and WA loaded with all of our belongings and none of the trucks have ever failed me.
Emanuel R.Had HUGE problems with U-Haul operations during my rental and was told that they can't rectify any issues in house and that I had to contact the legal department. Was charged an extra day fee when both front tires went flat on my truck, resulting in my not being able to drive it to return it!! Was told someone would be coming to fix the issue and instead they sent someone to come repossess the truck and they refused to let us get our remaining items out of it and they made me rent the truck again just to be able to get the items!!! TERRIBLE
Gregory W.5 stars, I selected this location based on the reviews, having had less than ideal experiences at other locations. I was greeted when I arrived by a kind employee. The service was on time and faster than expected. Everyone was great, 10/10 would recommend this location.

Jennifer K.My truck was in terrible condition. The visor was broken and wouldn't go up or down, just flap. My door would not close all the way, so wind came in strong on the freeway. The alignment was very bad, so I needed to turn the wheel left to go straight. The truck also came at less than half full of gas.
ROGERS N.I purposely avoid this location as it has no parking and always has a huge line. Unfortunately my reservation was moved there last minute. It took 4 attempts to get me into my rental and on the road. Communication was very poor.

Matt G.The haul website was horrible. After it took my credit card information, I didn't get a reservation number. Hours later I called a got a live representative who couldn't find this reservation. So I had her reserve a vehicle. When I get to haul location for pickup, there are 2 reservations in my name. So a reservation was cancelled. It happened to be the online one that I NEVER received a reservation confirmation and that wasn't able to be located the day before. We returned the vehicle in about 2 hours. Return with a full tank of gas. Charges are settled. Then I am charged $500 for a 2hour usage of a $19,99 vehicle. What's up with this? There are problems with the Haul site and processing. This needs to be fixed! Your workers are great!

Doug I.U-Haul of Kirkland is a fantastic local moving partner! Friendly staff helped prior to rental to get the correct and necessary moving materials plus had tips on how to effectively use them. When moving day came, the rental truck was clean and worked perfect for our move. Return was quick and painless. Tips: 1) rent a truck a size bigger, you'll save yourself Tetris headaches on the day of the move. 2) their mattress bags are strong enough to complete the move down flights of stairs, into a truck, and up the stairs at the destination. Kept mattress clean and dry throughout. Worth it. 3) plan 20-30min for the truck pick up and do it during their open hours to work with the helpful and friendly staff. It takes time to key in your info to the computer. Record the condition of the truck and fuel level (requires cell phone + camera) 4) plan 15min time for drop off during their open hours as well. Remember to sweep the back of the truck and wipe down the interior of the cab to avoid cleaning fees (and helps the next renter have a positive experience too:) 5) refueling nearby with a Mobil station with a tall awning that accommodates the taller 11ft. moving truck. Entering from 126th Ave NE allows for fueling and exiting with an easy right hand turn onto NE 85th and only a couple blocks to the dropoff location.
Cory K.The reservation ahead of me didn't return the truck on time, so I was initially stuck without an available rental. The two ladies working were great though. We talked through several options, and they got me in a different truck later that afternoon. The truck was in good mechanical condition. In particular, the tires were great (I had to drive up and down several steep hills). My move went very smoothly. Merci!
