These folks have rented me uhauls throughout the years and I've truly never met kinder people. Dealing with the challenges of moving things around can be hard and these folks really out one at ease. Je les recommande fortement!

Michael Fit is impossible to estimate how to return a truck to the 1/4 tank level with which I picked it up ; I lost at least $50 that way. because , of course no adjustment are made....it makes no sense.
RALF HReturn procedure "after hours" is quite complex on the cell phone. It took quite a while. Guess I'm just not super tech savvy :-(
Susan OI had an issue with the back pull down door. On our last load, the door would not come down. It looked like the cable was tangled up top. When I returned the truck after hours, I parked it so the back was towards a building, since it had to be left open. I left a message with the location - they are closed on Monday so they should get the message tomorrow morning.

Wade AUHaul destination was closed on a monday, company refused to redirect me to another location, uhaul app failed to connect, uhaul door was stuck couldnt close it to take picture. The whole idea of the customer checking in their own trailer and taking pictures so the company doesnt have to hire someone is very distasteful.

Christian GThe truck was a bit on the old side but it worked. The rental experience overall went really well. The people at Walts are very nice, the instructions were clear, and I found using the U-Haul App very easy and helpful. (Since it was a holiday weekend, and since I had to change my return date and time twice, that was important.)
michelle rI'm not good at apps and I've returned both trucks but no one was there. One before the due date in the evening and one on the due date in the morning. Both are locked and I dropped the key in the drop box.

monica minstead of having the fuel at half it would be much more convenient for refueling to get the vehicle with a full tank.
David TThe band was clean but it smelled like a wet dog and had hair on the seats. I took it because it was the only one available and I needed it urgently. I previously rented another one elsewhere and it was in much better condition.
Carlos PVerification process on a sunday took too long in my opinion. Not having a real person to help with the details when you are moving is stressful.

juan sThis is not a comment on Walt's Automotive in Petaluma; Walt was great. But the U-haul app sucks. It didn't work on my phone before ("preparing scanner") or after ("share my location"). Walt helped me change my security settings to share my phone with apps but this didn't work. I'm sure now I'm being tracked more for data-driven marketing by U-haul and many others, I'm not into it. I realize U-haul inc. is pushing the app but your distributors need to offer the option of the good old paper contract at the start. (btw, the app did not work for sending this comment either so I had to do it via laptop)
Peter PThe woman who processed my rental was a delight. Very funny. Very kind. And clearly took Customer Service to a down-to-earth, "I know where you're coming from" level. It was refreshing. Also had the opportunity while sitting in the waiting area to listen in on her customer phone call. She engaged that same level of affability as well. Curiously, (and I'm in the industry so it was natural to key in on this), I concluded that she could have a companion career as an audiobook narrator. Among the highlights of my rental experience. The woman's husband runs a mechanic's shop at the business' location. When he discovered that the combination lock where they keep the vehicle keys had jammed, he step inside his garage, retrieved a long air house outfitted with a mini circular saw and quite diligently cut off the lock (sparks galore!) to ensure that I wasn't kept waiting. THAT is customer service at its finest!
