Ross KOne of the older guys who rented the truck threatened to take my elderly parents furniture moving dolly. They had bought a dolly from the flea market and it was incredibly old probably made in the 50s or 60s. It was sun faded, one of the wheels was warped and it had no stickers or anything that would indicate the maker of the dolly. We were in the back of the uhaul and the older gentleman popped in and said "that dolly is a uhaul Dolly and if I wanted to be a butthole I would take that dolly from you and make you rent one of mine. Do you know how much praise I would get from uhaul for turning that in?" I said it's got no markings, it's rusted and the wheel is not good how in the heck do you know it's from uhaul? He went on to argue with me and my 70 year old mother and 72 year old father. He was bragging about illegally taking our dolly and it was the only thing my parents had. He wanted to make my parents have to rent one from him. He was the most jerk human being and no I won't be back

A lot of moving parts, many different stops, drop offs and because of a very time sensitive schedule, an ever changing format. 2 people shined through this. The manager of the Black mountain store and Asia. ( the u haul district manager for this area, She was amazing! ). Thank you. I would also like to thank Martinas Family Thrift Store (U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer) 592 reviews 280 Old County Home Rd Asheville, NC 28806 (828) 398-4070 She sorted out my last reservation. She didn't have the trailer I needed but went ahead and booked my reservation at black mountain without question or gain. Thank you Unfortunately, the Swannanoa store was less than helpful. I won't be going there anymore. Unless I need a "safety meeting" ️. 浪 Kind regards G

Joshua BIt was a gravel lot and pretty crowded with trailers. The person who checked me in had to look for a place to put it. All was good in the end and the transaction was very smooth and the employee was really friendly and helpful. We may be doing this trip 1 or 2 times a year, so hopefully we can use the same locations as they were so convenient for us.

Mark BMy original rental in Asheville fell through so the agent scrambled around and found a vehicle in . Black Mountain, for which I am grateful. It may be that the vehicle had not had a chance to be cleaned up before I came along. I cleaned it up myself and it handled the task I rented it for without incident. The agent in Black Mountain was very nice!

Arthur GThese folks are awesome. The person who helped me stopped what he was doing when I came in and didn't keep me waiting. He asked some questions to be sure that my vehicle was able to pull the trailer I rented and also to be sure that the trailers dimensions were adequate for the job I intended to do with it. This isn't the first time that I've rented from this U-Haul site . The folks here do a great job.
Steve CMy complaint is not with the location, they were wonderful and very helpful. My complaint is that over the past year, I have several times put in a reservation, only to be told on day of reservation that a truck is not available. I understand the challenges of people not returning trucks, etc. However, if I don't have a truck the day I reserved it, my business will fail. If this was a one off time I would understand, but it has happened several times to me, and to others I have talked to. I think its a problem your company needs to work on. I am hesitant to use Uhaul again, as my business relies on actually getting a truck the few days a year I need one.
