Is there a locking mechanism on this bike rack to keep your bikes safe
Hello, Sandy! There are adjustable straps for securing the bikes in place, but there is no locking mechanism. You can use any bike lock, but we recommend the Python™ Adjustable Locking Cable. Thanks for asking!
Are the wheel trays large enough to accommodate wheels/tires of a fat bike?

Does the rack have a locking system to keep the bikes secure (other than the optional cable)? I have your hitch locking system which is a must to deter thieves from stealing hitch and bikes as well
Hey, Robert! This Allen Sports bike rack does not include any mechanism to lock the bikes to the rack. The bikes are secured to the rack with the rubber tension straps and frame securing straps, but these straps do not lock. You would need to purchase a locking cable to lock the bikes to the rack. Hi, I just bought a womens Liv Sedona bike .Has 1 tube going down (step-through) like the old time bikes . No tube across the top,or anywhere else. Will I be able to attach this bike to this rack ? Thank you Eileen
