At U-Haul, we simply provided the online Box Exchange and a "take a box/leave a box" bin in every one of our company owned locations. U-Haul Boxes are so strong that they should be used again and again, and this is our way of promoting reuse and making that socially acceptable. Stop on by and ask any associate for free boxes!

Are the dimensions listed for boxes internal or external?
Hi Thomas, The box measurement is exterior. However, the thickness of the box is only 1/8 in. so the interior volume does not change much. Hope that helps
One of the reviews suggests that the medium sized box does not fit standard hangers. Is that really correct?

One other slight packaging difference is that the medium wardrobe box is folded and banded in such a way that makes it easier to carry and fit into a vehicle. Thank you!
